  Beautiful and YUMMY!!!

  Candice took our picture that we provided of a wedding cake and also a birthday cake for someone celebrating that same day and they both turned out amazing!!! The cakes were just beautiful as well as delicious!!

  Cakes are delicious!

  We had our wedding on the 4x4 beach in Corolla so we picked the cake and cupcakes up. She had everything boxed up for our long journey and explained how to put them together when we got to our house. Everything was beautiful and tasted amazing!!

  Candice was an absolute pleasure to work with. While the cake I wanted was simple, she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and it was delicious! She was also able to accommodate dietary needs that we had (gluten free), which was an added bonus! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

  Wonderful in every way

  Candice created a beautiful beach-themed wedding cake for our daughter's pandemic beach wedding. The flavors were fantastic and it looked so beachy and beautiful. Candice went above and beyond when we had trouble getting the cake topper delivered (ugh, 2020!). She was incredibly patient and delightful to work with. Highly recommend!

  Sweet coast cakes is incredible

  Candace created an incredible set of cakes for our daughter's Star Wars themed wedding. The cakes looked spectacular. However, when we finally got the courage to cut them, we found out something. They tasted better than they looked. The bride and groom were over the top happy with the cakes and cupcakes and everyone who attended was in awe of the cakes. Thank you Candace

  Best cake ever!

  Candice makes the process of figuring out your wedding dessert options so easy! We went with a small cutting cake and a variety of cupcakes for our guests. Our guests could not stop raving about how good the cupcakes were and they all wanted one of each flavor. We did a cake testing with Candice to figure out what flavor we wanted our cutting cake to be and it was a hard choice because they were ALL SO GOOD! If I ever need another cake/cupcake or anything while I am in the Outer Banks I will be seeing if Candice is available.

  Amazing Experience!

  Planned our Outer Banks wedding from out of state and Candice made it so easy and fun! From our cake tasting up to the big day everything was a breeze. She took our vision and made it come to life, we were blown away when we saw our cake. The taste was absolutely amazing we still have guests raving about the cake to this day!

  Delicious!

  We chose Candice because we wanted a variety of cupcakes and a small wedding topper, and she delivered! Being a destination wedding, we never tasted Candice’s cake until we cut the cake, and the raspberry almond was so very tasty! Our guests thought their cupcakes were delicious, too!

  We met with Candice to do our cake testing and as soon as we took the first bite we knew we found our cake decorator. The cake was amazing!! Candice was so sweet and truly cares about producing the cake her clients want. She was very responsive beforehand and we can't wait to see the final product on our wedding day!

  An Unconventional Review

  I should start off by saying, we didn't actually get to have a cake from Sweet Coast Cakes, as we canceled our wedding due to Covid-19 but I felt the experience I had with Sweet Coast Cakes was worth rating. Candice was incredible from the start. She was super responsive, quick to answer all my questions and adjust to all the changes I made. The variety they offer is amazing and I'm confident that the cake would have been perfect. The part that I really felt the need to review was how understanding Candice was. Most of the vendors we used were gracious about the fact we had to cancel but some were not. Candice didn't even hesitate, when I cancelled she refunded me 100% instantly. I know this isn't usually the case and didn't expect it but seeing as I've lost a good bit of money in the last week, I appreciated it immensely. I hope for those who are having weddings in OBX, you are able to use Sweet Coast Cakes because I am confident you won't be disappointed! Thank you!

Cupcakes were beautiful and delicious too, esp the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting yum yum . Had the most compliments on looks and taste especially with the almond wedding cake... perfection .   Delicious Wedding Cake and Assorted Desserts

  For our wedding, Candice made the most delicious chocolate raspberry truffle cutting cake along with cupcakes and cheesecake bites for our dessert table. Our contact was primarily via email and Candice was very responsive and answered all my questions. Most importantly, all our guests LOVED her desserts!!!!

  Candice at Sweet Coast Cakes was the absolute sweetest (no pun intended) My fiancé and I used her for our cutting cake at our 10/04/20 wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious! She was easy to work with, explained everything up front and was very prompt with her replies. As a bride trying to plan a destination wedding during COVID, it was a relief knowing that we had found someone experienced and reliable. Would highly recommend and will be using her again in the future!

  I needed a cake for my beach wedding and gave a short notice but Candice saved the day. She was able to make my wedding cake and it was beautiful!!!! And the cake was delicious. I will forever be grateful.

  A sweet choice!

  We searched online for someone to make our wedding cake when we were planning a surprise wedding in the Outer Banks. Candice with Sweet Coast Cakes was so helpful! She was very responsive thru emails and worked with us in choosing our design and cake. We were so happy to see our cake! It was perfect.

Her red velvet with cookies and cream frosting were a DREAM! Also, I really had no idea how to explain what I wanted for a cake and just mentioned a few ideas and she was able to make our cake exactly as I imagined. We couldn't have asked for a more delicious dessert table all thanks to Candice!
