My cake was AMAZING! I had NO idea what type of cake I wanted for my wedding and Katie from sweet peeps helped me decide on something georgeous. Besides looks, the cake was also delicious! Katie is professional, kind, and caring. What I really loved about Katie is that when all your other vendors are emailing you last minute questions, Katie is emailing you congratulations. Katie verified my cake plans a couple weeks before the wedding. This really stood out in my mind as I was bombarded with last minute details and questions from other vendors! 10/10 would recommend sweet peeps to a friend!My cake was AMAZING! My wedding cake and the groom's cake were both from Sweet Peeps. We had such a wonderful experience from the beginning. Communication was great, the tasting went well and the cakes were better than I even imagined. Kathryn listened to my vision and guest count and then told me exactly how much cake we would need. Both cakes were beautiful the day of the wedding and tasted even better. She was highly recommended to me by 2 of my friends who used her for their wedding. I was familiar with Katie's work and knew she could do some amazing things with cakes so I went on her website one day after getting engaged and came across this one cake she made of Uga, the UGA bulldog. My (now) husband is a huge UGA fan and I knew I had to have that as a surprise for him as his Groom's cake. I didn't know how big of a cake I needed or what flavor I wanted either. Katie was great and communicated with me to figure out exactly how many slices I needed and what flavor she recommended. The venue where we got married isn't anywhere near where Katie is located. One of my bridesmaids drove up to Marietta to pick up the cake the Thursday before the wedding and drove the five hours to my venue. The cake looked fabulous on Saturday night and everyone LOVED it! I didn't even get to taste it until Sunday night when we arrived at our honeymoon (my wedding planner packed us two huge slices of both wedding cakes for us). It tasted amazing! It was a chocolate ganache flavor. Also, Katie made my cake for my engagement party back in February. Honestly, that was the best tasting cake I've ever had. I ate it for breakfast the next morning. No lie. And a snack later that day. Katie was a dream to work with. She was so kind, and sweet, and so thoughtful and supportive throughout our whole wedding planning process. She was extremely clear and responsive on email, and she was incredibly organized. We loved meeting her during our cake tasting and it was a hard task choosing our flavors because all of them were so delicious! We were so thrilled to have her make our wedding cake. Her cakes are not only beautiful but delicious as well... We couldn't have asked for a better experience designing our cake and going through the process with Katie. She is the kindest and we are so appreciative and happy to have her make our cake!Katie was a dream to work with. We are so happy with our decision to go with Sweet Peeps Bakery for our wedding and grooms cake. The cakes were delicious and the design was beautifully executed! Katie was referred to us by a friend of a friend and right down the street from our venue. Katie was amazing from the time of our tasting to the day of our wedding. We tasted 3 different flavors and took the ideas we had for our cake to create the cake we dreamed of. She also gave us a variety of options to work with our budget and needless to say she was one of the most affordable bakeries we received quotes from. We decided to go with Red Velvet for our wedding cake and were so glad we did! It was delicious and our guests loved it! We also had a vanilla round cake as another option for our guests and that was amazing as well. Katie was very familiar with our venue, so I had no worries about our cake arriving late or how she would get it there. I would definitely recommend Sweet Peeps for any cake needs! We will definitely use you again!

Sweet Peeps Bakery was one of our wedding venue's preferred vendors. We met Katie at an open house, got to try her cake and instantly knew she would be making our wedding cake! She was so friendly and her samples were delicious! Katie always answered emails promptly and was very pleasant to work with during the planning process. She went above and beyond to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. You can tell Katie really loves what she does! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked! Picking my cake was for some reason the hardest part of wedding planning for me! I did two tastings at other bakeries and just wasn't impressed. They tasted fine but were really expensive -- not good! Someone recommended Katie to me, and I emailed her about two weeks before the wedding. She was so responsive and had the best sounding flavors. We ended up doing a trio of cakes in various sizes, and she still included a complimentary top tier for us to save for our anniversary. The prices were so good! Since it was pretty last minute, I decided to rely on other's reviews for the taste, and they were right. The cake was really tasty, especially the chocolate with bourbon filling and vanilla buttercream we did for the groom's cake. I had fresh flowers for cake decor, and Katie placed them so well. The end result was just what I had pictured in my head! Katie is fabulous. From the initial tasting (where we discovered her amazing baking skills) to the actual cake on the wedding, I couldn’t have imagined going with a different baker. Katie is all about the local support – she uses all fresh ingredients and makes it all from scratch. We had a very typical cake (cream cheese/vanilla cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing), but man did it not taste “typical” at all. You can really taste the difference with quality ingredients. Katie also baked our monogrammed sugar cookies for our favors and a Skyrim-themed cake for my birthday as well as Harry Potter “Snitch” cake pops and an amazing Harry Potter book cake for my Harry Potter themed wedding shower. Katie was also very easy to work with, and very prompt in her communications via email. She is amazing at what she does, so hire her to bake your wedding cake! I highly recommend Sweet Peeps. Katie does GREAT work. My wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. The designs for both cakes were just how we wanted them and the tasted awesome!! Sweet Peeps did an amazing job. The cake was delicious. Each layer was a different flavor with tasty icing. She also took a picture of my dress and designed a cake with elements that matched. The groom’s cake was a chocolate cake shaped to look just like a white pumpkin. It was also moist and delicious. The cake was so great, our guests were asking for a second piece. This vendor is AWESOME! I surprised my husband with a groom's cake and he LOVED IT! it was perfectly made and looked just the way I wanted it to look. The wedding cake was beautfiul too! Katie at Sweet Peeps Bakery is AMAZING! Her cakes are absolutely gorgeous, and they taste amazing too. She incorporated all of our feedback for the design of both cakes and created exactly what we wanted - even adding a cute custom monogram to the golf ball on our groom's cake as a surprise! She baked a fresh strawberry cake for our wedding cake and a chocolate cake with Bailey's filling for my husband - I know I may be biased, but both were the best cake I've ever had a wedding! It was really great working with Katie! She was very responsive, flexible and creative in coming up with what we wanted for our wedding. We used Sweet Peeps for our wedding cake. I absolutely loved working with Katie. She was very creative and willing to work with us. We had to change our originally date and she was more than accommodating. We went to our cake tasting and she had three flavors for us to try and pictures of how they could be decorated. She has a great gallery! We went with a delicious Georgia Peach cake with a divine buttercream icing! I can't wait till our anniversary to eat the top layer!
