  Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo - AMAZING!

  Does music make any difference in any event? This one 100% does! Lori & Scott performed at our wedding on 11.11.2023 and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. One work..."Outstanding!" They started as an acoustic duo and transformed into an amazing band with the addition of a bass guitarist and drummer for the dance portion of our affair. We were all out of our seats! Thank you for a spectacular performance that we're still talking about!!!!

  Talented and Accommodating!! Highly recommend!

  Lori and Scott are hands down amazing! Besides their talent, they are by far the nicest and most accommodating people! It poured rain on my outside wedding and we had to scramble to get tents at the last minute. Lori and Scott without hesitation (as the rain and wind was picking up), set up smoothly and performed beautifully. They are professional and very passionate about their work! They even learned a few songs for us and created an arrangement for our first dance that was specific to what we wanted. Highly recommended them for any occasion!!

  Could not have imagined our wedding without Sweet Tea🎶

  If I could give Sweet Tea 100 stars, I would.✨
  
  My, now, husband and I held our wedding last week and I am still caught up in such a whirlwind from such a love felt, joyous weekend. Partly in thanks to Lori and Scott who are true GEMS. Anyone who has them perform at their event, are incredibly lucky. They will not disappoint!
  
  We received SO MANY compliments on our ceremony and cocktail hour musicians & choices of music which of course, is accredited to Sweet Tea.
  
  I am already thinking of future events to have them at. Lori is beyond sincere, kind, and her love for music shined from our first phone conversation.

  Perfect all around!

  Sweet Tea played at my outdoor engagement party this summer and I LOVED everything about working with Lori and Scott! Not only are they extremely talented and professional, but they are also personable and passionate about what they do! Lori took the time to have multiple phone calls with me prior to the party to talk about details and my preferences. They were also interactive with my guests and were able to adjust their sound, volume, and songs to fit the "vibe" of the crowd as the night went on. Following the party all of my guests talked about how great they were. I can't wait to book them again in the future!

  Cheers to Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo-Best Wedding Day Ever!

  We just had our wedding on July 15, 2023. When we first found Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo we were really impressed. Lori and Scott were so authentic and really wanted to make our wedding special. They were so kind and professional. They were always flexible to talk over the phone, email, and text. They also didn't mind the number of changes we made. The day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to them. They did a beautiful job at our ceremony on Scudder Beach and at Ruvo where our reception was held. Our family and friends said they were amazing and so talented. Everyone wanted to know how we found them. My dad and my husband even gave a standing ovation to them and a toast. Lori and Scott also allowed my sister's boyfriend to do duets with them and a solo. I would recommend them for all weddings and events because they are so genuine, kind, professional and are willing to be so flexible. In addition, for Long Island, they have reasonable and flexible pricing that would be affordable for any kind of wedding. Thank you so much Lori and Scott. Cheers to both of you.

  Sweet Tea Duo is absolutely amazing!

  Sweet Tea Duo is amazing and I would highly recommend them for any event. They played at my daughter’s bridal shower and I never got so many compliments about the music. It was just the right tempo and the singer and guitar player were excellent. They are very professional and I can’t rate them highly enough for any event.

  Beautiful music, incredibly responsive, helped us plan out our details!

  Lori was absolutely incredible to work with!! She helped us choose songs that would fit our style, helped us plan how our ceremony would go (we did a very non-traditional ceremony that we M-C'd ourselves), was super responsive over the phone and great to talk to! Lori and Scott also helped us plan out our program, including making suggestions about timing of different components. It was incredibly helpful and really made our wedding run smoothly!! On top of all this, Lori, Scott, and her band learned several songs for our wedding that really made our evening spectacular - including getting creative with a jazz number we requested for our first dance! At one point we mentioned my mom's favorite song -- and the band learned it so that my mom could have a wonderful surprise dance fest! It was incredible, and my mom was thrilled. The music was fantastic!! I highly recommend Sweet Tea!

  Couldn’t ask for a better duo on my special day

  I was so fortunate to stumble upon Lori's page on Instagram and just knew she was the perfect choice for our celebration from moment I heard her beautiful voice. She was incredibly professional and a pleasure to communicate with. I’m so grateful that she accommodated my husband and I even with last-minute requests. The sweet tea duo performed an impressive variety of music that pleased all of our guests. I had many compliments about her voice from my family and friends! Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding, I cannot recommend her enough!!! :)))

  I am so thankful for Lori and Scott for sharing their amazing talent with us ! We hired them for our cocktail hour and reception where they had a full band . They kept the crowd going and knew exactly what songs to play at the reception. They fit like a glove at our cocktail hour and they were the perfect addition to our outdoor wedding! No words can express our gratitude as they really brought the magic to our day!

  Absolutely Amazing!

  Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo was the perfect addition to our wedding. They got lots of compliments from our guest!! Lori is very responsive!! They were a last minute addition to our wedding, they had less than a week to prepare and did all renditions perfectly. I would definitely recommend!!!

  A must for your wedding!

  A friend referred me to Lori & Scott as she had a great experience with them. From my first contact through the wedding day and beyond they were great to work with. I honestly had no idea where to start when it came to choosing music from walking down the aisle to the reception. Lori had great suggestions and guided me through the whole process. Working with the duo was probably the least stressful part of the wedding planning. When talking to Lori and Scott, it honestly felt like you were talking to a life long friend - they truly make you feel so comfortable. Having a live, acoustic band at the wedding was huge! They pumped up the crowd and got our guests on the dance floor - everyone had so much fun. They kept the party going and even dimmed the lights on the floor for us as they noticed the venue did not. I couldn’t tell you how many people complimented us on having a them at our wedding. Our guests told us they had great interactions with Scott & Lori too. We talked about what my fiancé and I wanted the feel of the wedding to be and Lori mentioned a ‘first look’ idea. I honestly never considered this but after talking to her we decided to go this route with our photographer. I’m so happy she gave me the suggestion because we loved doing this. I would hire Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo again in a heartbeat and I would hands down recommend them. They really made our wedding a little extra special.

  Talented, Professional and Fun!

  I can’t thank Lori and Scott enough for delivering such a beautiful performance for my ceremony and contrail hour! Lori is so responsive and catered to all my musical needs when planning the songs for my ceremony. They’re so talented and passionate about their work and my family and friends raved about them! Sweet personalities and they created such a fun time at my cocktail hour as well! Highly recommended these two ❤️
