I can't say enough good things about Amanda and her team. The images of the wedding I've seen so far are stunning. My hard-to-please-mother called her a "true artist."
She brought professionalism, of course, but she also has an infectious energy and enthusiasm that made the entire experience - planning, engagement pictures, and wedding pictures - amazing and so much fun. I knew I wanted photos that had a creative and dramatic flair, and her style fit perfectly with my vision. She is also communicative and takes good care of her clients. She texted me 30 pictures the afternoon after the wedding just so we had some previews of the day to enjoy. Highly reccommend! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda. She was such a joy to work with and she and her team did an incredible job of capturing all the details and moments of our day. It was important to us to get a lot of candid shots of our wedding and Amanda delivered above and beyond. Our wedding gallery came back with well over 1000 photos that memorialized both all the fancy, formal moments and all the fun, impromptu moments. It feels so magical every time we go through it.
We first found Amanda through one of our friends and instantly hit it off with her on our initial phone call. Throughout the entire process she was very communicative with us after working around some gmail snafus (curse you auto-spam folders!). Her and her team were on point during the wedding at getting photos efficiently while also providing some great cues for different shots and letting our wedding party just goof around and be ourselves. I’m more of an introvert, but her enthusiasm was infectious our entire wedding day.
With one of my bridesmaids just starting to transition before my wedding, it also meant so much that Amanda is proudly LGBTQ+ and that I know I didn’t need to worry about a thing for my one bridesmaid. -

Amanda and her wife Jordan were an incredible team and really captured the joy and connection of our loving community! Recommend one hundred times over!
Even though we had gotten engaged years before and were initially unsure if we really needed it, our engagement photo shoot was perfect for working out some of the typical nerves and awkwardness. Amanda's sense of humor put us at ease and allowed us to be totally comfortable by the time our wedding came a few months later.
The studio space that Amanda has was perfect for getting a break from the hot sun and we got gorgeous shots overlooking the city. She and Jordan took into account our style in terms of how "pose-y" we wanted to be. They incorporated our humor and playfulness, and played to our strengths as a couple. We so appreciated getting a break from family stressors and a chance to connect and have fun before our ceremony!
Amanda and Jordan also picked up the slack when our day-of wedding coordinator completely dropped the ball. They jumped into high gear when timing was off and asked us how we wanted to proceed, calmly and reassuringly. It very much felt like they had our backs the whole day and were committed to not only us having incredible photos, but also having as stress-free a wedding day as possible.
Not to mention what they delivered! When over 1500 photos arrived in our inbox only a few days after our wedding, we were stunned and so grateful to be able to relive our day so soon!
From our posed shots to touching ceremony moments to dance floor candids, Amanda completely exceeded our expectations. The photos are truly one of our most treasured possessions, and serve as a beautiful reminder of the best day of our lives! -

Where do we even begin?? We were lucky enough to find Amanda during our third attempt at planning a wedding thanks to covid cancellations. We would go through the cancellation stress a million more times because it lead us to the most talented, hysterical, magical amazing photographer and her badass team. Amanda made us and our wedding party feel so confident, relaxed, at ease and ourselves. She has such a creative eye and captured the most insane photos of the best night of our lives. I can't wait to work with her again!! -

Wow! Just wow!! Don’t hesitate to book Swiger Photography for your wedding, Amanda and Jordan were phenomenal!! They were SO professional, thoughtful, and FUN throughout our whole wedding day!! Amanda made you feel like a movie star! (not to mention, we were able book her two weeks before our wedding because our old photographers ghosted us!) The preview shots that she sent us (literally the next day) were absolutely breathtaking! It was a truly stress-free experience; Amanda had already scoped out the perfect outdoor spots for photos on the day-of, and there wasn’t a moment that she missed. Thank you Amanda and Jordan!! -

Caitlyn Sent on 10/09/2018I don't even know where to begin. Amanda and Jordan are nothing short of amazing. When I initially inquired about their services/prices, Amanda immediately got back to me. She answered all of my questions, and scheduled a time to FaceTime with me to get to know a little about us and our wedding plans. We had reached out to multiple photographers in the area for quotes, and loved Amanda so much that we didn't even wait to hear back from the others. I think we signed our contract within a week.
We just finished our engagement session last week (which Amanda and Jordan offer as a gift to the bride and groom), and we could not have been happier with how our pictures turned out. We were nervous leading up to the session, but Amanda and Jordan made us feel so comfortable. We had such a fun time, and we can't wait to spend our wedding day with them! -

Amanda helped me plan a small ceremony at bridge on race. I gave her full creative control. She did not disappoint!!!! She was professional and made us feel so comfortable (because neither of us have ever done this before!!!). Our night was amazing. She totally gets me!!!! Everything was perfect would not have changed a single thing! I’ve gotten to see some sneak peeks of the photography she did already too and I can not wait for the final!!!! Literally EVERY single detail was perfectly amazing! It was made for us. Hearing guests talk about how much they loved how we did our wedding made me feel great about our decision to work with Amanda too! I feel so lucky to have met her. -

A Master of Her Craft
Amanda isn’t a photographer, she’s a master of her craft with a charming soul. She transformed our small but chaotic wedding into a beautiful, calming, and enchanting experience. This Memorial Day Weekend marked 2 years since that day and we still reflect not just how beautiful but how loved we felt. Amanda and her wife, Jordan brought a sense of home with them , which I would venture to say would be literally impossible for anyone else to do on a 94 degree day, without an event planner (yup, she became that too), amongst a crowd of people who love us but don’t necessarily support same sex marriage. In the midst of all that, they handled every challenge with grace, never letting us feel the sometimes daunting tasks before them. While managing to snag a million stunning photos. They weren’t just photographers at our wedding, they made our wedding and became people we call friends. -

I had a very last minute wedding and had absolutely no ideas what pictures I wanted to capture, and Amanda made great suggestions and took care of everything. She even send us teaser pictures that same night! I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. Working with Amanda was like a dream come true. Highly recommended!
