  Sajan is amazing!

  Sajan and his team catered at my wedding reception at B Resort & Spa on 11/8/2019. We've dined at Tabla numerous times and have used his catering services for all sorts of events in the past. There's no doubt we had him cater the reception! Sajan is a delight to work with - he goes above and beyond to make sure we're satisfied with the taste and presentation of each of his items. He also hosted us for tastings multiple times prior to the event to make sure everything was exactly to our liking. Him and his team are so talented - highly recommend!

  So many details go into planning a wedding but the one aspect that seems to define an amazing wedding is unforgettable food, and that is exactly what Chef Sajan and the Tabla team delivered. From the very first tasting, Chef Sajan was professional yet made us feel personally involved by bringing creative and unique suggestions to our menu. Every single one of our guests commented on how incredible each dish was and wanted to know who catered! Rightfully so as every single item on our menu was absolutely divine! I would recommend Tabla to anyone and everyone - there is no competition.

  Good food, bad business

  Great food, bad for catering... The food here is absolutely delicious but I hired them to cater my wedding last year in Jacksonville, FL and many parts of the contract were broken. We hired them for food for a certain amount of people and food ran out multiple times for multiple events...this was also keeping in mind that 20 people did not show up who are RSVP'D that I paid catering for. A family member of mine heard the cook tell their staff to only put out 3 trays of each item when we paid per head for a buffet style. They also ran out of hors d'ouevres during cockrail hour. Also, the food that was still there after dinner that we paid for they took back to their trucks instead of packing it up for us in boxes. They also charge you additional to have someone stand at what they call a "action station" where someone has to serve the food. We had a brownie and ice cream station for someone to serve and paid for it although no one served it... they just put the ice cream in a bucket of ice and people had to serve themselves after I paid for a attendant. When I contacted the catorer I made the contract with (sajan) about these issues he never contacted me back and ignored any correspondence from me.
  My cousin also used them for her wedding. She paid them in full prior to the wedding. When they arrived they asked her uncle for an additional $1,500.00 that was not in the contract. Very shady with business. Do not use for catering purposes.

  Horrible experience, horrible management..do not recommend

  Words cannot describe how horrible of an experience we had with Tabla's Catering Service for our wedding. We had used them before years ago, but safe to say that their quality, professionalism, and management has deteriorated significantly since then. Our wedding was for 210 people whereby they were supposed to bring down 6-8 people to help with the food...they only brought 3 which forced us to spend extra money with the hotel to help them with serving food. They needed so much help that even our wedding planner and hotel manager had to help them in the kitchen. Our wedding planner said "In the 10 years as a Wedding professional I have never had to put on gloves and actually plate food back of the house. Both myself and the hotel manager had to basically leave it to our teams to keep the event running while we were in the kitchen plating up the appetizers to even have it possible for Guests to have something to eat during cocktail hour. I spent about almost 1 hour just in the kitchen plating up food."
  
  They did not refill the shafers during our Sangeet to the point where people had to wait on food. Not all the items we were promised as part of our quote were served throughout each of our events. The plated reception dinner was beyond horrible even after we went over to their restaurant in Orlando and showed the chef (Saajan) at least 3-4 times on what we wanted for our reception entrees (see attached photo). That's not even the worst of it all...they were supposed to come down the day before the first event to get organized but they came only 1 HOUR before our first event started. Furthermore, 8-10 months prior to us verbally agreeing with them, we asked for a formal contract for us to sign countless times, but they never sent us one and kept on confirming verbally that they would be there. The day of our first event they sent an administrative person (who arrived separately before the chef) to demand payment for the entire event. Given our reluctance of how disorganized they were, we were willing to only give 50% of the balance until they finished the event (as what they have done historically). The owner, Nora Jain, then called my mother-in-law and had the audacity to threaten us to pay in full (without any prior communication from Table prior to this) or would pull out the entire catering service. It's most unprofessional thing I have ever encountered in my life.
  
  Horrible management, unorganized employees, and unprofessional. Do not ever go with them for your event...you'll regret it.
