    I would highly recommend everyone to take a look at this hotel if you are planning on getting married. The staff is very friendly and Marshalle is very flexible. She also makes sure everything goes smoothly the day of the wedding. Thanks for the making our wedding the best day of our lives.

    My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Tampa Marriott Westshore Hotel. We had a lot of guests coming from out of town, so it made sense for us to have everything in one location to prevent extra expense for our guests. We set up our room block for guests to earn a discounted rate if they mentioned our wedding at time of booking. The staff at the hotel were great to work with, very accommodating, and very good with communicating back and forth in a timely manner. My husband and I had a strict budget, with a total of 85ppl attending, and the hotel was willing to work with us and provide suggestions on what will work for us within our means. I was able to set up follow up meetings with the contact, to make sure everything was still as planned, make any last minute changes, and and she always made time to meet with me and put my mind at rest on anything I may have been worried about. On the day of our wedding- everything went clockwork. My ceremony started on time, my contact took care of the vendors arriving that day to set up, the buffet meal was fantastic, and I was pleased to hear my guests rave about the different options they tried, and which one was their favorite. My husband and I were very pleased, thankful, relieved, proud, that we chose to have our wedding at the Tampa Marriott Westshore, along with having our guests stay at the hotel. It was made it much easier for everyone to attend the wedding, head upstairs to their rooms and not have to worry about driving from one location to another, after consuming alcohol.     I had my reception here and they made my guests and I feel so welcome. The service was great and the place looked wonderful. Great place for a reception.

    Everything was great. My only disappointment was that my cake was cut and put out on the tables after people stood in line so my cake ended up in the trash. I didn't even get to eat a piece. Two tiers was wasted when I could have brought them home. At least the top tier was saved.

    We booked a block of rooms at the Marriott Tampa Westshore for our out of town guests traveling to our wedding. Everything with the block of rooms went smoothly. Caileigh Woodruff and Ralph Alderman were a pleasure to work with. The front desk staff and the bellmen were so nice and accommodating to our guests. This portion of our experience with the Marriott was fantastic.

    We decided to host a pre-wedding reception the Friday night before our wedding for all of our guests because so many were coming from out of town. I was originally planning this with Kristi, the banquet manager. We had everything all set and ready to go but unfortuantely Kristi left the Marriott. So, I started working with Marshalle Smith. There was little to no communication between Kristi and Marshalle. Marshalle was unaware of items that I had already planned with Kristi. This caused for confusion and extra-stress the week before the wedding. I had to contact the General Manager of the hotel to get everything straightened out properly. The GM was prompt, and had the appropriate people contact me to ensure everything was worked out.

    On the night of the pre-wedding reception, we had a cake to be served to the guests. My husband specially gave instructions to not put the cake in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, they put the cake in the refrigerator anyway. Therefore, the cake was hard and unable to be cut and enjoyed by our guests. This was really unfortunate that we spent money on a cake that we could not use for the celebration.

    Overall, we had a nice experience with the Marriott. There were a few snags in the road during the planning process. However, the staff made our guests feel comfortable and special throughout the weekend.

    This hotel was the perfect place for us to get maried , we had the ceremony & reception there. Everything turned out beautiful & the food is amazing. Although the price per person was a bit pricey it was worth the quality of the service & event rooms. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a simple wedding that is stress free!

    My reception here ended up being a disaster and nothing turned out the way it's supposed to. A lot of things were said by the staff that they would do and help with and they didn't follow through, so when it came to setting up the area my family members had to do it by themselves. Nobody is there to remind you of deadlines so they call you only days before the event to receive a final count, making it nearly impossible to make any changes.
    From a customer service point of view I definitely think they handled this event horribly, from a business perspective maybe there wasn't anyway to refund.
    Also they didn't have you sign a final contract which is very unprofessional and allows them to twist their words and make it so they did nothing wrong.
