    The owner and staff were very friendly and accomandating to my daughter and I from day one. They set up everything for us on her wedding day to take away some of the stress of my daughters day. There was an issue but it didn't make the evening bad at all. Everyone complimented everything as Eligent and in good taste. Thank you all for your quality of great service, kindness, professionalism, flexibility and value. You guys rocked.

    We wanted to have an intimate ceremony in a park with a simple elegant reception. Then we found Taravella Manor on Weddingwire. It seemed perfect. We emailed them, received an abundance of information and were able to set a date for a walk through within a few days. We were having a destination wedding and would be in town checking out another venue. From the moment we walked through the doors we were smitten. It was perfect! We had lots of questions and they answered them all and even some we didn't think to ask. We booked them then and there. They took care of everything (except the cake). They even decorated the hall following my instructions to the letter. I’m still in awe of the beautiful job they did. Every member of the staff is commendable. We were constantly checked on to see if we needed anything throughout the ceremony and reception. The New Orleans-style food never stopped coming and was so very delicious. They cut and even boxed the cake for our guests. It rained during the reception and they actually retrieved our guest’s cars from the parking lot so they wouldn't get wet. The service from Taravella Manor is unbeatable and impeccable. Our wedding was simply magical.

    The staff at Taravella Manor have been there for me since day 1. Kyle and Erica are amazing people to do business with. My wedding day was the most amazing day ever. They provided everything my guest request. The food was outstanding and plentiful. They even provided my husband and I two large bags with to go containers filled with every item. The very next day, 100% of the food was devoured. I wouldn't mind going back just to order some food to go. But they gave me the wedding of my dreams.

    Love Taravella Manor! I was planning a small wedding that "inflated" to 225 people at the last minute and it was totally OK! I was the typical bride mess with tons of questions, confusion, and all the bells and whistles. They make sure that the bride stays cool, calm, and collected! They are the best. My mom dropped off a TON of decorations the day before the wedding and when we walked in, everything was EXACTLY in it's place! It was more elegant than I ever expected, we got so many compliments on the décor, and we had to give the credit to the staff at Taravella. Had they not followed directions to a "T", it all would have been for nothing. They really are great!

    We loved our venue! The outside patio in the back set for our perfect ceremony & inside was a beautiful, spacious, & elegant reception area where the staff was very attentive to all guest as they were the bride & groom. The food that was served was absolutely delicious & the amount of food was to leave no one hungry! We couldn't have chosen a better place & highly recommend this venue.

    the entire staff was amazing from the moment i step into the building and walking us out it was the best service i ever had!!!!! My ceremony was breath taking, the food, staff, my wedding was the best day of my life. Thanks to Tarvella Manor A+++++

    Taravella Manor was the perfect choice for the background in our fairy tale of a perfect wedding. We could not be more happy and impressed with the wonderful staff! Taravella would be our choice again if we did it over without a doubt! :)

    My daughter had her reception here and I felt compelled to write and compliment rhe staff here. Kyle and his team did a tremendous job for us. As soon as we walked through the door they were on top of things. From picture taking down to making sure I never had an empty glass in my hands. This place was excellent. There was nothing they weren't willing to do to make sure this was a great memory for us all. Even my husband who's never satisfied had nothing but good things to say about the food and staff. So if you're considering venues, please take the time and go here. You won't regret it.

    Taravella Manor provided us with the best wedding and reception ever. My husband and I were so impressed with our night! Great food, great dj, and beautiful garden area and recception hall.

    The Winklers, owners of Taravella Manor, are phenomenal. They will go to the ends of the earth and back to make sure their brides are happy. We held a party there and were so satisfied with everything they provided, we would not think of going anywhere else for our reception. The care and personalized service were exceptional and the only thing that surpassed those things is the food. The knowlege that Taravella's staff will oversee the reception takes a huge burden off of my shoulders.

    In 2012 the quality of servic the was given to my husband and I was indescribable. We did not have to worry about anything and my guest is still talking about his much the enjoyed them selves. Some of my guest have been back because of the great service to experience. Job well done????????

    OMG! Taravella Manor was the very best! Treat my husband and myself like royalty the entire year we planned the wedding just not on the day.
    They took care of everything.I didn't have a worry or care in the world the day of. You cant ask for a better owner than the Kyles'. They truly know the wedding business and have truly perfected it!
    I have recommended them to everyone for any occassions.
    The food was every bit of fresh, seasoned, hot from the stove!

    After so much went wrong on my wedding day! Taravella Manor saved my day!!!! The venue was beautiful! They set up all my decor just as I imagined it! Hans, Kyle Sr. and Kyle Jr. are an amazing team. They waited on us hand and foot!!! At first I thought he was coming to tell me something was wrong but then I realized he was just there incase I needed something! My Husband is haitian and we wanted to make sure everyone would be able to eat and enjoy themselves. They let us bring in custom haitian dishes to be served with all of the food they made! I love this place!

    OMG! I would recommend Taravella to anyone. This is the best representation of Southern Hospitality by far. I was so pleased with my entire experience with Taravella. Kyle Sr, Jr., and Hann were all so helpful with a beautiful staff. They were very reasonable and professional. I can't imagine my event being any place else. Love Taravella!

    I went with this hall based on recommendations from two friends of mine who had there weddings here. I appreciated the "all-inclusive" venue; I didn't have to worry about much else because they included most of what you need to pull off beautiful wedding. I had my ceremony off-site, but they do offer a ceremony for under 50 people. Our guest count was over 200 people, and there was definitely enough food and cake for everyone. One of the owners becomes the bride and groom's personal waiter the night of the event. I actually got to eat dinner on my wedding day!!! And he kept the margaritas coming, just like I ordered! The only con I can remember is that they insisted that we keep up their arch by the cake table and flowers on the mantle; we couldn't take them down (they didn't want them to get messed up). And because out flowers were tropical themed, the white roses and baby's breath didn't go 100%. But they didn't turn out to be an eyesore in the pics; they kind of blended in. i would definitely recommend this venue; and the best of luck to you!

    The Winklers were great to work with. They were super professional and made sure the night went off without a hitch. The food was great, and we got a LOT for our money. Our guests loved the food. And they set up everything if you drop decorations off the week prior. My only complaint is that we couldn't throw confetti, have bubbles or sparklers, which I would have really liked. Also, be warned that they book like, three weddings on Saturday, so you won't have access to the venue like you'd like. But, our wedding was FANTASTIC! And I really liked the guys there.

    They threw all my things away they didn't ask me if I wanta my things they just threw it away . I also had some cake left that was on the trays they was getting ready to thew my cake away if my sister didn't stop them the money I put in my wedding they just threw it away like it was theirs at least they could have ask me first but they didn't't so please my bride's if you want to keep so of ur things that Yu paid all this money for make sure Yu tell Mr.manor don't threw ur shit away like they did me or maybe they have it for they dam self I'm so hurt behind this my napkin for the cake table we used maybe two out of fifty they gone smh just money gone down the drain my money .like thy say can't cry over spill milk just dont let this happen to you I can't stop smh I'm so angry right now at this so call wonderful place please

    Extremely Disappointed

    Please, please, please...do not have your wedding at Taravella Manor. Only thanks to good friends & family was I able to enjoy the last part of my reception because the majority of the reception I felt like a guest of dishonor rather than a guest of honor. I waited to write my review until after I discussed with Taravella Manor. All of the issues I addressed below were of course disputed by the general manager, Darius, who acted as though everything went off without a hitch. As a result, I have decided to write a review in hopes that others will not make the mistake I did & book their wedding at this venue.

    Taravella Manor boosts that they will walk you through step by step, “you just show up & we will do the rest.” What a joke. It was so disorganized. My hostess would stop by tell us something & then disappear! We had no attendant for myself, my groom, his parents or my mom. He & I had to go to the bar to get our own drinks all night long. There also was no reserved table for the bride & groom or our bridal party. When asked by the mother of the groom, the staff advised there were no reserved signs in the establishment. I brought a pen for people to sign my guest book & no one could find it. The general manager insisted I didn’t give it to him, which just infuriated me further. During my bridal party dance, the music stopped & we were offered no explanation as we stood on the dance floor for several minutes looking around. The DJ was terrible. He played “Strokin” for the first song of my money dance & was asked 4 times before he changed it. No one could hear any of his announcements as they were all muffled. Due to miscommunication of their staff to my photographer, we cut our cake & no one knew. When I asked the general manager, Darius, he said, well that was the cake cutting if you already took pictures. The pass around food was not served until an hour and a half before the reception was ending. By the time we were made a plate by the attendant, it was ice cold. One of the staff members kept going to the dance floor. She tried to get me to dance, but I told her several times I did not want to do a line dance. When this was addressed to Darius the general manager, he says that staff dance when asked to by guests. No one asked her! She was asking people because she wanted to dance. I have several pictures of her in my professional pictures dancing- so unprofessional. The lighting is terrible in this place, spotlights nearly blinded us when walking in & photographer had to ask us to step out of it during our first dance because it was ruining our pictures. There were candles on the table, but they were not lit and it took 4 times asking for these to be lit. The place seemed to be falling apart at the seams with neither our attendant or the general manager ever readily available to address any of these issues.

    As I said above, despite my frustrations, my groom & I were set on enjoying ourselves & we ignored the cacophony of disaster and set our sights on the beauty of people we loved there to celebrate with us. I wanted my grievances to be heard & I was not only placated, but moreover told I was a liar. Save yourself some frustration, pay more & go somewhere else. I could probably list 20 more complaints about this place, but I believe I have painted a good picture. Several of my family members and friends have also reviewed for my wedding on 10-11-19, echoing much of the same.

    Avoid This Venue

    Do not choose this place for a wedding venue. The hall cannot accommodate a 300 person reception. The buffet line took 45 minutes to get through. Our parents had to stand in the line, no one attended to them. The passing hors d'oeuvre was infrequent and scarce. Unfortunately there is no redo. The food is actually delicious. You just won’t get an opportunity to eat much of it. One of my bridesmaids, left to get takeout.
