We had our wedding here in October 2016 and this place was absolutely perfect! My pictures turned out wonderful over looking the lake!! We had the ceremony outside on the dock and reception inside the ballroom. Its so spacious and beautiful you don't need a ton of décor. The food was delicious and the staff worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect and set up nicely. The only con would be I wish they didn't make us end at 10:30 since our ceremony started at 6:30 we didn't get inside the reception until 7:30 and after the first dance, father dance, mother dance, eating, cake cutting, garter toss, and bouquet toss it didn't leave us very much time to just relax, congregate and dance with our guest. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they were having! We had a photobooth, which was a HUGE hit among everyone at our wedding. I strongly suggest that add on. The bridal suite is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Its very roomy and has a long wooden table with a chandelier in the corner and long mirrors with about 4 vanity seats and couches on the other side... did I mention there was a bridal stand in front of the mirror!! Overall this place is breathtaking and as a bride the staff made this experience fun, easy and romantic for our special day!

We held our rehearsal dinner here and loved it! The food was amazing and the ambience of the room was perfect for a rehearsal dinner. The team was great to work with as well.

Andy and Jackie did an AMAZING job on our wedding reception! Our wedding was finished early and our guests started arriving an hour early! EEEK! but, they rolled with it and pushed everything up and it all worked out extremely fantastic! The food was excellent and warm food was warm and cold food was cold! The bar and bar tender were on it! And we really had the best wedding reception we could have ever had! Thank you for making our day so special! We will be booking more occasions with you soon! :)

Christian, the catering director and wedding coordinator, was so helpful and responsive during the planning process as well as during the wedding and reception. The other staff were all very polite and friendly. They were able to accommodate the less than ideal weather and quickly move the ceremony inside.
The Yacht Club also provides all of the food and alcohol. The food was very delicious, and guests still rave about it. The drinks were very reasonable.
All in all, this is the best lakeside wedding venue in the area!

    Absolutely Wonderful

The Tellico Village Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. The gorgeous views, friendly staff, and delicious food made this the perfect venue. Our guests loved the scenery and taking photos and dancing the night away in the spacious ball room. Skylar and Edgar are so great to work with!

We loved our wedding at the yacht club

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Yacht Club. The view was gorgeous, they were very accommodating when we were dropping things off in the bridal suite a few days before the wedding, they had some backup easels we were able to borrow for signs the day of, and provided some fans for us in the bridal suite so we didn't get too hot. We had an open bar and they kept us informed throughout the night where the tab was sitting so we could have an idea and know if we wanted to keep it open or do a last call. We provided our linens to them the night before and they had them all set up when we arrived the morning of the wedding. It was a very hot day when we got married, but they regulated the temperature very well indoors and it was not too hot or too cold during the reception. My only complaints are that we had 7 or 8 people who had requested the vegetarian option and they never received their dishes. Luckily, we had some mixed vegetables as part of our buffet and people loaded up on those, but it was disappointing that this was an issue. The other complaint is that there's really no tasting package for the food to determine what you would like to have at your wedding. They did accommodate my fiancé and I with a tasting, but we had to pay an extra fee to taste certain items on the menu. Given we had already secured the venue and were required to use the Yacht Club's catering, I assumed there would be a tasting package included--I'm not sure how else you would know what to offer your guests if you've never eaten there before. They also charged an extra fee to open prior to 10:00am the day of the wedding. There was no way the hair and makeup artists would be able to finish everyone in time by starting at 10, so we had to pay an extra fee to open earlier. In the grand scheme of things, these didn't take away from our experience at the Yacht Club as a whole. We had a wonderful time and our day turned out so amazing. The bridal suite is so cute and was so much fun for me and my girls and mom to get ready in during the day. Overall, I'm very happy with our experience and I'd definitely recommend considering having your wedding at the Yacht Club.

This venue is a perfect mix for an indoor/outdoor wedding! It overlooks the Tennessee River, with views of willow trees and boat docks--beautiful for photos! The inside of the venue has great space with a bar available. I had room for a photobooth and multiple cocktail tables. The food was amazing! I had so many compliments on the presentation and the taste! The chef is extremely talented and was willing to work with any ideas I had.

Tellico Village Yacht Club was the venue for my daughter's recent wedding and reception and it was perfect. The setting is stunning, the staff is professional and the food was yummy. Jackie, the club's Event Coordinator, has so much wedding experience; it was easy to rely on her to create an unforgettable day for my daughter and son-in-law. I highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to look at Tellico Village Yacht Club. Really. Call Jackie. Now.

Tellico Village Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our May wedding. We had our ceremony on the dock with around 150 guests. Then we had a brunch reception in the ballroom immediately following the ceremony.

    Service:
Andy was great to work with. He is very "tell it like it is" and for someone who is wishy-washy about making decisions I found this really helpful during the planning process. The bartender was wonderful, she was kind and creative, and I think our guests really enjoyed her! Edgar managed our event the day of, and while I didn't work with him very much, he seemed to know what he was doing and everything went off without a hitch.

    Food:
Absolutely amazing. Our brunch reception consisted of waffles, eggs, a ham carving station, hashbrowns, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy, and more. The food was all hot, there was plenty to go around, and people were raving about it! We also hosted an after party here and the appetizers we chose were delicious. We couldn't have been more pleased with the food!

    Complaints:
My only concern with the yacht club was that there was a bad smell coming from the ceremony site. It seemed as though they hadn't taken the trash out in weeks. Not sure if this was just an oversight or what, but it was pretty gross.

Overall an amazing experience and beautiful location. We would highly recommend having your event at Tellico Village Yacht Club!

They did not provide several items promised in the contract. First the food was late and we had to wait to eat. Second they promised a dessert and did not have one. Third when we did eat some of the food was so salty that everyone complained. That is very embarrassing on your wedding day especially when you pay $2600 for the food for 64 people. They did not give us any of the leftovers that we paid for. They boxed all of it up and took it back to the kitchen. Fourth, they did not know how to work the projector for the procession which was an item that they charge for. Finally, we were suppose to get our $75 charge for the cash bar back after the guests spent more than $400. We haven't heard anything on that. I do not recommend this place. They force you to use their catering if you rent the space and the quality was horrible!

We liked the yacht Club because it overlooked the lake at the dock where the ceremony would be held and when we initally went to tour the venue the people were nice, but that all changed after we booked. They did not communicate well with us at all-pretty much just e-mail (about 2 weeks later). They did not show up at the rehersal, things were set-up wrong at the reception the day of the wedding - but they never made it right just said they did not know that. Worst part was the reception was indoors in May, after our guest had been sitting outside under a tent for the ceremony, we went in for the dinner and the AC was def. broke but no onw would admit it so we were all soooooo hot and people ended up leaving early and never once did anyone offer to give us a discount anything. One good thing was the food is great!!
