This is the perfect venue! From weddings to business meetings to fine dining and parties, the Terrace does it all. I love it! The first time I had the opportunity to visit this amazing place was for my cousin's birthday party when I was a little girl. I was so impressed I remember thinking, if I ever get married I really hope it's here. Little did I know, when I turned 30 this past January, I would see that dream become a reality. My husband and I are so blessed and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding. I was born with Muscular Dystrophy and they were very accommodating. Since I have a very difficult time walking, we were able to call ahead of time to tell them what we wanted, and they brought our dinner right to us. We also got to stay in a newly renovated room with plenty of space for my scooter and a balcony at no charge. Enjoy the pool and relaxing hot tub to relieve all the stress from planning your big day. The ballroom is incredible with gorgeous drapery in the ceiling and a projector to display those special memories. We were able to use mirrors, vases, and a sign that they already have which helped us save. There is an outside area with a waterfall, gazebo, tables and chairs, and a stunning view of Lake Michigan for You even get to have your name on the marquee if you choose at no extra cost. The staff and everyone that works there is so friendly. My husband and I even had people tell us during our reception that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I had to plan my wedding from over 1,000miles away. The Terrace was absolutely wonderful to work with. They also where great working with my decorator, DJ and cake lady. My wedding was perfect and 100% stress free. The had managers on site at the reception to make sure all went well.

Everything went just perfectly on my wedding day. Leading up to the wedding that staff was great with working with what I wanted and were very flexible when I made changes. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Our wedding reception at the Terrace Bay couldn't have gone better. Everything went not only according to plan, but it exceeded that plan. They are amazing.

Jill was amazing! It was like having my own wedding planner! Prior to the wedding she worked with me on room layouts and planning. The day of the wedding she handled everything smoothly and calmly. Jill coordinated with the photographer and DJ, and recommended things so that the grand march, cake cutting, first dace wouldn’t conflict. The best part of having my reception at the Terrace was that my family got to relax also. After the reception there wasn’t any tear down or clean up. The Terrace staff had all of our decorations set to the side for us the following morning and we just had to load up and head home!

We were very pleased with everything that they had to offer us. We had a very pleasant experience. The only thing that I guess I would watch for is when we paid our bar bill at the end of the night, the tip was included in the "overall" bill but I wasn't told that so I almost tipped them twice. Also, they had a "tip jar" out at the bar but I didn't understand why since the tip was already included in the bar bill.

They are a wonderful venue for a wedding. The ballroom is beautiful and the food is delicious. They are very professional and very knowledgeable about weddings.

Mike made it very easy! The hall was organized well and decorated. We had more people than expected show up, and he was able to accomodate! We did not have quite enough seats for dinner, but like I said, too many people came. There was plenty of food to go around though.

The Terrace Bay Team was wonderful. I planned my wedding from a distance and they were always helpful and professional. We had a beautiful wedding and I would highly recommend them!

We got married here in May of 2017. Turned out better than expected. Staff was so accommodating and willing to help with everything and anything. Definitely made our special day a day to remember. I would highly recommend this hotel for your wedding or event. Also, the banquet food was amazing!!

Our wedding was august 6th 2016 and everything was perfect! Jill was amazing with coordinating everything and during the reception she made sure everything ran smoothly! I didn't have to worry about a thing! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

Flexible and as communicative as you want them to be. I welcome the chance to go to another event at this venue.

Jill was extremely helpful and very responsive to our questions and needs when we were planning our wedding. There was a little confusion when some guests were booking rooms as some rooms were cancelled by the system. Luckily I caught it while triple checking our block of rooms a few days before the wedding. My MIL & FIL were in one of the rooms that were cancelled, but the staff quickly made arrangements to upgrade them to a suite, free of charge. New ownership took over the day before the wedding. The new owners were very nice and personally introduced themselves to us as my dad and I were waiting to walk down the aisle. They stuck around all night and were taking care of our guests. We got a lot of compliments on the beautiful venue, as this was the first trip to the UP for many of our guests.

Felt very happy working with you guys during my planning process. Only other feedback I would like to provide is I felt that more staff would have been helpful the night of the wedding as far as getting tables cleared and helping clean up at the end. Otherwise it was overall great!

The only complaint I have is the buffet was broke down early and the bartenders were rude. Also they do not have tap beer which is very expensive.

We had non traditional requests for our reception and the staff was happy to comply! Food was great, service excellent and the Embers room just what we wanted for a more "mature" crowd!
I would highly recommend to location and staff!

Unfortunately, our event took place during the transition of new owners. Jen tried to make the transition as smooth as possible but we did run into a few hiccups. Overall the day turned out perfect and the food was excellent! I would refer anyone to this beautiful scenic venue.

Dates fill up quick! I reached out as soon as I was engaged which was a year prior, and there were only 4-5 dates to choose from, which were not near where I originally wanted but it worked out in the end. Alex the Banquet Coordinator went above and beyond and was so helpful from start to finish day of! They immediately got back to me with all my questions and concerns. The only issue we ran into was for the rehearsal dinner, otherwise they were phenomenal!
