  Deliciously exquisite!

  We absolutely adored the exquisite akes Tessa made for our spring wedding a few years ago. She was flexible and creative with the flavors I requested.

  We are so glad we were referred to Tessa as a local baker - which doesn't feel right, I feel like I should call her an artist - in the Greenville, SC area. We had a tasting with her and were absolutely blown away - we didn't bother looking or trying anywhere else. I was one of those "a cakes a cake" people before I tasted Tessa's work. We tried about 6 different flavor pairings (stemming from almond cake with white chocolate frosting to chocolate cake with espresso and even a chai cake) and had such a hard time deciding that we decided to have two flavors for our wedding cake (chai with vanilla & berry compote which was perfect for our November wedding and vanilla/vanilla) and had the other flavor pairings as cakelets at our rehearsal. We received SO many compliments on both the cakelets and the cake! Also - the cake value was incredible...in my mind, we were going to have a smaller cake and it was HUGE! Loved it. She's so easy going and nice to work with, it really was such a pleasure and we will definitely work with her in the future.

  I could not recommend Tessa enough. She was truly a joy to work with. She took the time to understand the look and feel of our wedding and then created a unique, beautiful and delicious cake for us. Not only are her baking skills amazing, she is also very organized and responsive. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Tessa!

  Tessa is truly an artist with cakes. Her flavors are unique and delicious. If you want an original and memorable cake use her! Both the taste and look of the cake is unlike any I have ever seen.
  
  Tessa had us over to her house for the most delicious cake tasting. She asked good questions and learned what we were looking for. She is a genuine and true artist! The cake exceeded our expectations. We had a blackberry rose naked cake. Over a month later and the compliments are still rolling in. I cannot recommend her enough!

  Tessa was an absolute pleasure to work with and her cakes are outstanding! Between the many unique flavor combinations she offers and her eye for design, you are sure to have a scrumptious piece of edible art. I found her on Instagram and was so excited she was still available on our wedding day! Everyone has been raving about how delicious and beautiful our cake was. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you so much Tessa, you are so talented!

  YUM!!!! HER CAKE IS THE BEST THING YOU HAVE EVER EATEN!!!! She has SO many amazing flavors and her cakes are BEAUTIFUL to look at! Everyone was raving about our wedding cake and we had the hardest time picking at our tasting because every single thing she bakes is better than the last! She was SO easy to work with and our cake was STUNNING! I would recommend Pylon Cake to everyone and I will definitely be using her in the future for any showers or events that may come up! Absolutely amazing!

  Tessa of Pylon Cake is a dream cake maker. We were looking for something very simple and not too large for our wedding cake. She did a two tier red velvet cake that was SO DANG GOOD! Not only was it good but it was absolutely beautiful, too! What she created for our wedding was perfect and I highly recommend her. She had great communication and was quick to answer any and all of my questions. We went over to her home for our cake tasting and it was such a perfect afternoon. She created the most delicious cakelets for us to try and it made choosing the final wedding cake very difficult! Such a great experience. Thanks, Tessa!

  Tessa made a beautiful and tasty, very tasty, wedding cake for andrew and I.
  I usually do not like wedding cake because typically it taste bad ( sorry) and we opted to have a dessert table because of that. However this vanilla berry chia, nearly naked cakes stole the show, was dense and moist, and tastes homemade. Everyone raves about our cake. Tessa also was able to catch my farm to table vision, and her communication was awesome.

  Tessa can bake! The flavors were outstanding and we received many compliments on the cake and cakelets. The cakelets are the perfect option for guests and they are something different from cupcakes. We loved the cutting cake and all of the flavors we ordered. We will be going back to her for anniversary cakes :) The cakelets do get somewhat expensive and add up quickly, but Tessa's work is SO MUCH BETTER than a traditional wedding cake and actually tastes amazing (coming from a couple who doesn't typically like cake).
