  The wedding of my dreams!

  A girl anticipates what her wedding day will be like her whole life, so obviously there are high expectations. And in every way possible, it was the wedding of my dreams, thanks to Thanksgiving Point.
  
  This was a destination wedding of sorts, as my husband and I live in New York. Megan Saxton was basically my right hand woman for the four months leading up to the big day, answering my endless stream of questions and making adjustments to every detail, from the table settings to our vow line-up. She was a dream to work with.
  
  I’ll never forget walking into the venue on the day of the wedding, and actually gasping out loud. It was breath-taking. The sparkling lights and the grand tent in Italian-esque gardenhs, along with a cute photobooth VW we booked – everybody kept raving about the atmosphere.
  
  As for logistics, the staff was two steps ahead of me on everything the whole evening, moving things along and quietly directing us on everything from how to cut the cake to when to curtsy for a photo during the grand exit. It all came together so flawlessly, leaving room only for dancing, laughing, and many good tears. If you’re even debating between another venue, do yourself a favour and book this one!

  We held our reception at the Thanksgiving Point, Garden Room. Absolutely beautiful view and the garden grounds are wonderful! The staff was very nice and accommodating. We went with a Luau style buffet. Our guest kept talking about how good the food was! It was really great food and trust me... we are pretty critical when it comes to food! :) Highly recommend!

  I loved having my reception at Thanksgiving Point. They provided me with a wonderful wedding planner, Ashley and she was able to walk me through contacting all the vendors I needed and had great insight in the wedding industry. I loved the blooming roses in the Logia Garden which is where my reception was held. It was so beautiful and perfect.

  Thanksgiving Point was a great place to work with for my wedding reception! I had it in the Garden Room and it was so beautiful. They really did a great job decorating it exactly how I wanted. They have a "fairy godmother" that helps you out with everything and she was very very helpful! Plus the food was delicious. Definitely recommend this place for a wedding reception!

  Loved everything about doing my wedding here! It seemed pricey at first, but when you consider all the services they give you and that the price includes food, it's totally worth it. The event planner Heather was fantastic and so willing to work with me on everything. It was so easy! Planning my wedding was seriously so easy because I chose this venue. I'd recommend it to anyone! And the actual event was so beautiful I could hardly handle it!

  I found Mellanie with Botanica at a bridal show in Salt Lake City. Her use of branches and overall rustic vibe attracted me instantly. I scheduled a bridal consultation with her and during my appointment, she couldn't have been more kind. One of the first questions she asked was what my budget was. I had other floral appointments that would go on huge elaborate plans and quote me an insane amount never asking me what my maximum spending amount was. She worked with me in detail to make sure I was within my budget and even brought out some flowers to play with to give me a better visual of our ideas. My wedding was this past Saturday, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the overall outcome. IT LOOKED ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Exactly the kind of style I was going for - she was on time and even remembered the last minute changes I had to make. Couldn't have been more pleased with her work and highly recommend to anyone who wants a classy and elegant wedding :)

  The wedding planner was very professional, and knew exactly what I wanted, even though I had trouble converting the images in my head into words. I was a little disappointed that she was not my coordinator on the actual wedding date, but some other person I had never met was. The lady who did work with us on the day of the wedding was very nice and very good. She did seem a little pushy to end the line prematurely, because "the food is running out" even though it wasn't, but other than that she was great. It was a hot June evening, so she made sure that we had plenty of water to drink, and even packed my husband and I a carry-out box with some of each of the different foods we were serving to take with us to the hotel afterwards. Everything was set up perfectly, and they had even reserved a room for us inside in case the weather was bad. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

  This was a nice and pretty place. About the only downfall is you have a lot of people walking around that aren't part of your wedding since the place is open to the public. Still was a great place with great people.

  We had our wedding luncheon in the Thanksgiving Point Garden Room. The event went well. The food was amazing, the room looked amazing, everyone had a wonderful time. We also had them do the flowers for our wedding at another venue. The table centerpieces was beautiful. My only complaint would be that they did not give me the bouquet I ordered. My colors were pink and ivory and I ended up with a ton of blue in my bouquet. I think they must have switched my bouquet with another brides :( so be careful of that !

  If I could do it again, I wouldn't have my reception at Thanksgiving Point. We all seemed to be on the same page prior to the wedding, yet when the big day came around it was very disappointing. Needless to say, I would look elsewhere if I were looking for a venue.
