    A Truly Incredible Wedding Planner!

    I cannot speak more highly of Amanda's wedding planning services (or her as a person). I hired her for month-of coordination and I felt as though I had a full-service planner for over a year. She without a doubt went above and beyond her month-of duties to make sure every detail of our big day was accounted for and executed to perfection.

    Being out-of-state from our Miami venue, she was integral in helping us find local vendors we could trust, act as liaison with our hotel venue, provide expert advice and guidance, and even allow us to ship items for the big day to her home so we didn't have to coordinate flying with them.

    We had some difficulties with our venue throughout the planning process as there was turnover of multiple venue contacts, but Amanda was always our constant. A reliable and wise North Star. She even helped us find an amazing DJ and florist who were both phenomenal to work with and budget-friendly.

    Day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing as her and her staff were on top of every detail, as well as a calming presence for my husband and I on such a momentous day. I specifically remember her telling me to "just find his eyes" as I took my first, nervous step down the aisle, and I carried that sentiment with me throughout the whole night.

    Simply put, we would not have been able to do this without her. She is a wonderful person and I'm truly going to miss working with her! 100/10 would recommend her to anyone in the South Florida area!!

    Exceptional Service!

    It was an absolute pleasure working with Amanda. We hired Amanda for partial wedding planning and she exceeded our expectations. From the moment we hired her, she went to work right away, reading our vendor contracts and helping us finalize our vendors. She provided us with guidance, advice, recommendations, and options. She was always responsive and professional and listened to our ideas and helped in making our wedding a success. She always has a positive attitude, truly listens to her clients and genuinely cares. From attending my dress fitting to learn my bustle style, organizing and leading our ceremony rehersal, finalizing the wedding details, setting up our wedding decor, dealing with vendors and catering, there is not a thing that she would not do to ensure that our wedding went smoothly. Every detail we mentioned was also provided. She is an amazing and organized planner. Her entire team helped on the day of our wedding and they were also kind and extremely professional. We would not have been able to get through our wedding without her. We definitely recommend her services for all of your wedding planning needs. Our only regret is not hiring her sooner.     The best - highly recommend!

    Amanda is incredible!! My husband and I hired her to plan our wedding in Miami while we were living in another state. She was able to meet with me over zoom, talk on the phone, email, or text whenever I had questions - even late at night or early in the morning to work around my school schedule. I wasn't able to see anything in person until the wedding day, but was blown away by how beautifully decorated the venue was and how professional she and her team were. Several guests commented to me about how kind and professional she was at the wedding as well. I can't recommend her enough!!

    Could not have done it without her

    Amanda was the best wedding planner we could have asked for. She is extremely responsive, helpful, accommodating, and organized. We had several major issues and changes with our wedding over the course of a year and Amanda handled them beautifully, presenting us with the pros and cons of each decision and providing her recommendation as well. She gave us great recommendations for vendors and touched base with us regularly. She and her team are extremely professional and made our day so special. Her top priority really is to make sure you are happy with everything that is happening on the wedding day and she went above and beyond to do everything she could to ensure that. She looked over our contracts with vendors and was the point of contact, taking the burden off of us. We are so thankful to her and her team! 100% recommend.

    Amanda is truly the BEST!

    Amanda and her team are truly the best in the business, and we cannot recommend them higher. Amanda helped us plan every detail of our wedding day and was always available for help, to answer questions, and to coordinate everything.

    As a couple with busy schedules, we knew planning an out of state wedding was going to be an enormous undertaking. Once we found Amanda and her team at That One Little Detail, a huge weight was lifted. Not only did Amanda help us plan our first wedding date in January 2021, but when the pandemic hit, she helped us re-coordinate ALL of the vendors, the venue, and manage communication with all of our guests. She helped us find vendors that fit our budget as well as our vision, and every single one of her recommendations turned out flawless. Without Amanda, we truly would not have even gotten to our wedding day.

    On the day of our wedding, we had a 50% chance of rain EXACTLY at the time of our outdoor ceremony. As soon as we arrived at the venue, Amanda and her team were on it, formulating plans and getting creative to make sure we had the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. Not only was every detail thought of prior to the day of, but Amanda and her team made ALL the details visible, beautiful, and come together seamlessly on the day of the wedding.

    Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and a day we’ll remember forever, and it was in no small part because of Amanda’s expertise, professionalism, and care that she put into our event. She and her staff made us feel at ease and allowed us to enjoy every minute of the day. We are so lucky to have her and feel that she is part of our family - we hope she’ll be part of yours too!

    Amanda is AMAZING!!!

    Planning a wedding is stressful on a good day, but planning a wedding during a pandemic in a city that is brand new to you is next level stressful. The most important thing we did to lower that stress was to hire That One Little Detail. Amanda was just amazing! She helped us to identify affordable and reliable vendors, she helped me to know what was important to get done and when (and talked me off ledges when I was freaking out unnecessarily), she ran interference when some of our vendors were a bit challenging to work with, and most importantly, she did it all with a smile on her face ALWAYS! I really can't imagine being able to pull off the day we had without the assistance of Amanda and her team. I highly highly recommend That One Little Detail!

    You won't regret hiring That One Little Detail!

    Amanda was a fantastic resource and guide throughout the entire wedding planning process. She recommended vendors, negotiated contracts, and made the whole process seamless and effortless. She always made herself available to meet up based around my schedule, visited vendors with me, and she provided so many little details and accents for the wedding decor that saved me hundreds of dollars. Most importantly, on the wedding day, she made it seem as though everything went off without a hitch, even when there were issues with vendors or deliveries. Her entire team is incredibly discreet and professional. I would recommend Amanda and the That One Little Detail team to anyone!

    Best Decision I made throughout this process

    To reiterate what my review title states, hiring Amanda & her team was hands down the best decision I made at the start of my wedding planning process. I could not have handled the before, during, and after of my wedding without her & her team. She is so professional, responsive, pleasant, and understanding.
    From the very beginning of the planning process, she provided so much great information, advice and guidance. She was always available to talk/text and answered any and all questions. Her work ethic is second to none. During the months leading up to big day, she recommended amazing vendors that surpassed my expectations. Her abilities really shined through when she stepped in and handled one vendor that did not follow good business practices. The vendor was unpleasant, deceiving and Amanda represented & protected me better than I could of myself. I'm ashamed to admit that I called Amanda crying one day about that vendor and she reassured me that she would handle it. She did exactly that. And I didn't even know half of the stuff that was going on in the background with that vendor. It wasn't until a couple weeks after the wedding that I realized everything that had transpired. This incident solidified my trust in Amanda. I hope other brides don't have to deal with a similar situation but just know that if you do you are in good hands with Amanda and her team.
    She attended multiple meetings with me in person including dress fittings, table & linen selections, etc. Anytime I requested a zoom meeting she made it happen. As the big day got closer, she scheduled zoom meetings more regularly. And she was constantly touching base with me about place cards, welcome sign, seating chart, and any other details to make sure I was happy with them. At the start of this process, I told Amanda what my vision was, and she made it come to life. My wedding was everything I asked for and more. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. They handled everything that day and only came by the hotel to check on me and deliver my bouquet. It was the best feeling. She met me again at the church before I walked down the aisle to make sure everything ran smoothly.
    The reception was incredible. Everything was beautiful and better than I could have imagined. I still can’t believe that was my wedding. All our guests told us how much fun they had and how well organized everything was during the night. That was all because of Amanda & her team. She created a timeline for herself and all the other vendors which she constantly revised and redistributed. There are so many lovely small details that I can mention about Amanda & her team, but the review would be endless. I will just mention one thing that really stood out. We ordered pizzas as a late-night snack for our wedding guests and a few of them were gluten-free for my mom. That night, Amanda not only remembered that the gluten-free pizza was for my mom she personally set it aside and hand delivered to her. It’s those small things that really make it all worth it. Amanda & the rest of the TOLD team were amazing and the best decision I made for my wedding.
    The only regret my husband and I have is not having taken a picture with her the night of my wedding.

    The best choice I made was hiring Amanda

    Working with Amanda was the best decision I made in the entire wedding process (besides marrying my husband, of course)! The amount of time and money she saved us must have been double or triple what it cost to hire her. She does floral design, saving us TONS on our floral costs (she did the arch, bouquets, etc you can see in the photos). She lets her clients use all her existing decor at no cost (for example the big gold hoops at our reception in the photos), on top of helping us find wonderful vendors for other items (cake, dress alterations, rentals, etc.) at great prices. More importantly, she took charge of the event completely on wedding day allowing us to enjoy every minute of our day instead of worrying about the event logistics. I was originally planning to do everything myself due to a limited budget (and my love of DIY), but realized partway through that some professional day-of support would allow me to actually enjoy the moment. Amanda gave me soo much more than just day-of help! She started helping with advice and recommendations right away, and her attention to detail gave me peace of mind throughout the entire process. Getting married during covid was difficult and required a lot of extra care to keep everyone safe, and Amanda took the lead on that as well. It was also raining on our wedding day, so Amanda simultaneously set up in door and outdoor options and quickly moved forward with the outdoor setting when the rain cleared just before the ceremony. I interviewed 9 other planners before deciding to work with Amanda and I can promise you she is a special find. If you’re thinking about whether she’s worth it or not, stop thinking - she’s worth it, hire Amanda!

    She’s Magical - 12/10 would recommend

    Amanda is legitimately magical - there is no other way to explain it! From the moment we contacted her up until our wedding day she was ON IT. She was super responsive to us (regardless of what day or time we messaged her), and helped make key decisions for the world’s most indecisive person (me).

    She was also the best communicator and coordinator with all the different vendors/venue (who even though they were a terror to deal with, she made it feel seamless).

    There are not enough good things I can say about Amanda, she’s not that “one” little detail, she’s ALL the details. Our day would 100% not have been the same without her patience, guidance, positive attitude, or willingness to make our dreams come true.

    12/10 would recommend.

    Dream come true

    Amanda went ABOVE and BEYOND to make my wedding UNFORGETTABLE. She would meet with me at Starbucks until 10 o'clock at night. She was there when I cried because I couldn't decide what flower arrangements I wanted. She told me to call her whenever I felt emotionally overwhelmed and she ALWAYS had the right answers. Being a bride who got married at 26, I knew I wanted someone who would embrace the modern day wedding feel with hints of traditions. SHE did just that. Professional. Passionate. Makes dreams come true. That is who Amanda Watson is.

    The BEST planner we could have ever asked for!

    Amanda and the That One Little Detail Team are so amazing that we are using them TWICE.

    We originally were planning for a wedding Fall 2020, but with the pandemic, have had to postpone until Winter 2021. Amanda made the process of postponing seamless. Despite all the uncertainty because of the pandemic, Amanda has been supportive, reassuring, and has taken the lead when necessary, with every decision we have made.

    Since having to postpone our big wedding, my husband and I still wanted to get married this year. Amanda took the lead to create the most beautiful & perfect wedding day. She knew how concerned I was about following health & safety guidelines, and created the most intimate, beautiful, and unforgettable day (with only 10 days of planning!).

    Amanda always makes time to chat, console, and give advice throughout the process. After seeing what she can put together in 10 days, we can't wait to see how perfect our wedding celebration will be in Winter 2021. Amanda and That One Little Detail is a MUST to have for your wedding!

    The Only Review You Need To Read

    When reading reviews for wedding planners in 2019 on the wedding wire and the knot, I first thought that a good portion seemed bought, were fake, or were positive but ultimately unhelpful or inapplicable. This will not be anything like that. I worked with Amanda Watson for approximately one year to plan two multicultural weddings twice due to Covid 19. We encountered significant setbacks in the form of scheduling difficulties, location, city ordinances, and of course parental involvement.

    Responsiveness: Amanda gives her personal number, her email, and was available for phone call/video call/text nearly 18/24 hours of the day. Early in the planning stages before the first cancellation, we would speak to her once or twice a month as everything was preliminary. As we approach the date, the communications became weekly, twice-weekly, and ultimately daily. There was no point where I felt that Amanda had failed to get back to us about anything important, and she was specific and clear when she needed more than one day to resolve a matter.

    Professionalism: absolutely no concerns. She remained pleasant, kind, and had an excellent sense of humor. This was a multicultural multi-ethnic wedding, and was a novel experience for her as well as us. She was able to navigate multiple idiosyncrasies of both of our cultures without any major issues. Both of our parents were able to communicate with her. It is important that you stay proactive as a client with Amanda, so that matters can be resolved efficiently.

    Day of: our wedding was a moving target given Covid 19 restrictions, and a multiple location setting, and back to back weddings (Friday and Saturday). This was by no means an easy task, but Amanda was able to coordinate the two days, was able to put together a hour by hour schedule, and most importantly, was able to improvise when snafus happened on the day of, all the while having contingency plans for when people were late. She was even kind enough to bring me ginger beer after my beach photo shoot, so that I stay hydrated.

    Vendor connections: Amanda has expertise in this field of event planning, and has relationships with multiple vendors, which may provide a discount. We initially were going to piecemeal our vendors ourselves, but found a all-inclusive vendor through Amanda. This vendor ultimately fell apart, but it was a convenience that would not of been afforded to us if we had not met her. as a small aside, she also has items such as center table bases, sparklers, and other knickknacks that are commonly forgotten at weddings.

    Final thoughts: as I mentioned before, it's difficult to gauge how well an event planner will work for your wedding as it strongly depends on the various details. I would say that for a wedding that was originally planned to be 200 to 300 people for the first one, and a 50-100 person waiting for the second one, back to back with cultural hurdles in the setting of COVID 19, Amanda was perfect. I would strongly recommend her services for your event.

    Every Detail & More! Amanda made our wedding day and experience amazing and stress-free.

    From the first day I met with Amanda, she already had provided so much information to kick-start the planning process - checklists, recommended vendors, and so many ideas to get the creative process going. We had the pleasure of working with Amanda about 2 years and her flexibility, cooperation, and overall good vibes coached us through two reschedulings of our wedding due to COVID.

    Both me and my husband are very busy with work, so I deferred a lot of decisions and tasks to Amanda that she happily took on and kept me updated constantly. She was always available via cell, text, email at any time for big picture questions, down to minor details, and even just to talk when I was feeling the stress of planning.

    She was LOVELY to work with when choosing vendors and always gave her honest opinion based not only on her personal connections, but also on what she knew about us as a couple, our preferences, and what was important to us.

    No matter what crazy idea I had, last minute errand, or request, she was always there for us.

    She kept track of each vendor, payment, contract, deadline, etc... and was always on top of it all. Her organization skills are truly unmatched. She also worked so well with my parents, keeping them informed the entire time and answering their emails and calls whenever they needed her.

    On the day of - I cannot express how grateful we were to have her. Amanda and her team were with me from the first minute of the day - delivering food, clothing, bringing us anything we had forgotten, they were at the venue dealing with vendors, overseeing set up, making sure the timeline went as planned, and were there for every stressful moment to make sure that both my husband and I were always comfortable and happy. She literally too care of EVERYTHING and at no point during my wedding did I ever think about logistics or whether something was going to go wrong.

    At one point in the reception, my strap on my jumper broke and before I could even leave the dance floor, Amanda was there with safety pins ready to take me to the suite and fix me up. She truly cares and will not take her eyes off of you the whole night, making sure everything is perfect and that you are always smiling.

    I cannot recommend Amanda enough. The experience, organization, style, attention to detail, and her overall personable and sweet nature is everything you could want in a planner.

    Amazing planner- book now!

    My husband and I could not rave more about Amanda's amazing work! By the end of our process, Amanda was more than our planner, she is part of our Family! My Husband and I chose a "Destination Wedding" in Key Largo, FL (we live in Stuart,FL). From the start, Amanda was kind and got our vision right away. She made the time to drive up to Jupiter,FL and Key Largo, FL to meet multiple times, took time out of her day to text, call, and facetime with us when needed. She got our Vision right away and was a breeze to work with! She suggested amazing vendors (Photography, Dj, Makeup, etc.) that she has worked with before and gave vendors for every price level, which made for a very swift wedding! We even had one major hiccup with my Venue one month before our wedding (not our fault) and he jumped right in and handled it like nothing ever happened. She is extremely professional and was a dream planner for us. All and all, I would recommend Amanda at That One Little Detail a thousand times over!

    Excellent wedding planner!

    I hired Amanda to help me plan a destination wedding on 2/29/20. From the first contact, Amanda was kind, detail oriented, and easy to work with. Her expertise in the wedding industry is truly invaluable. She has many strong connections to assist with selecting high quality vendors. If you don't need a full planner, I highly recommend her for the day of as well.  She made our wedding day effortless, all we had to do was show up.  She handled all the details and made sure everything was perfect. She was there for me every step of the way and I truly can't thank her enough. It was like having a best friend in the wedding industry. My husband and I are so happy we found her... she truly made our dream day a reality.

    Incredible!!!

    Amanda and her staff were absolutely amazing! She made our wedding the success it was, expertly resolving the numerous mishaps from other vendors. She could easily charge much more for her services and it would be worth every cent. We hired her only as a day of coordinator, but she was helping us resolve issues from the very beginning.     DO NOT QUESTION IT. GO WITH AMANDA! BEST INVESTMENT.

    Amanda is: kind, patient, organized, will help your wedding day go smoothly by making sure everything is running on time (she will personally go up to you, tap you on the shoulder and let you know where you need to be), has tons of decor to lend, brings a team to help set up and break down, will play intermediary between you and your vendor if you need her to and will answer any and all questions you may have about weddings.

    I'm a hyper-organized, pragmatic, DIY kind of girl but I also know there are limits to how much a person can DIY. My friend's all recommended that a day-of-planner was a must and so I set out looking for one. Most planners / day of that I contacted essentially wanted to do full wedding planning and the one day-of-planner that I did find had all kinds of red tape as far as what she would and would not do (would not touch xyz vendor's furniture, would only put decor under a certain size). I grew disheartened and gave up until my fiancé miraculously found the kind soul that is Amanda.

    During our first phone call with Amanda, I felt IMMEDIATELY relieved. She re-assured me that everything would get done and she was ready and willing to jump in no matter what the situation. I was initially sheepish and wanted to make sure to keep her load as light as possible but she again re-assured me that nothing I mentioned or requested was ridiculous or out of scope.

    Up to the week of our wedding, Amanda touched base with both our vendors and ourselves and helped us make sure all ducks were in line as far as timing, insurance requirements, etc. She also gave us feedback re: decor, wedding customs and misc things. While discussing decor, Amanda graciously let us know what items she could lend so that we didn't have to buy items for one time use.

    The day of the wedding, Amanda was an absolute champ. She showed up extremely early with her team and they had been well on their way through set up by the time I got to the venue. There were little snags here and there and Amanda approached my fiancé and I with calm and ease for our decision / direction and then carried them out.

    As the night wore on and everyone became more loose, Amanda was the one that kept it all together. Her and her team broke down the tables, chairs and misc. decor and returned everything to their place and also helped load whatever was our personal belongings to our cars. I woke up astonished at her impeccable attention to detail and ability to keep track of everything.

    After the wedding, there was a bit of a snafu with one of our vendors and Amanda was able to provide an extremely detailed account of what occurred so that we were able to approach that vendor and ask for compensation.

    All in all, I have nothing but extreme gratitude for Amanda. You NEED her. Do not question it. You'll have a friend to lean on during what is a stressful process so that you can enjoy the company of your friends and family.

    Everything I could have asked for!

    I could never write enough good things about Amanda and her team at That One Little Detail. She is an amazing planner and is willing to do whatever it takes to make this the most memorable and best experience ever. Being from Charleston, I was extremely nervous planning a destination wedding, but I am so thankful I found Amanda! She did not stop at wedding planning, she purchased all of the alcohol and supplies needed for a beach party so that my family would not have to do so when we got down to the Miami area headed for the Keys. She is extremely cost-conscious which was super helpful, so I respected every decision she made throughout! She was willing to change details up until the end of the night, and never made me feel bad about doing so! She always went the extra mile and did way more than what was expected and in her contract. Her drive and character trickle down to her children--all of her children adore her and the work she does, and they have just as much drive and determination as her. Amanda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Couldn't have done it without her!

    I could not have planned my wedding so successfully without Amanda. She helped recommend vendors, got quotes, made sure everything was in order, and patiently pestered me to make decisions (I was so scatterbrained for a lot of the process). I would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend!

    Amazing, amazing, amazing!!

    Where do I begin? Amanda is amazing!! When we first met with her we had a great connection and she was able to make our vision a reality! She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help in any way to make your dream wedding a reality! She took care of all communication with the vendors and was extremely organized. She also helped with details that we would have never thought about! She even lent us some decorations to use for our wedding! All of the vendors and the venue staff mentioned how lucky we were to work with a wedding planner like Amanda. She’s always available for video conferences or meeting in person. I would recommend her to anyone who’s getting married. We have no words to thank her enough for making our dream wedding come true! Everything turned out perfect because of Amanda!!

    Please read!!!!!!!

    ...even though I know this review will never do justice to how amazing Amanda Watson and TOLD is, I’ll try to summarize this as succinctly as I can. But long story short, aside from me marrying my husband, Amanda was the best decision of my wedding. By a long shot. And I had a dream wedding. My dream dress. I was happy with hair and makeup. The venue was amazing. Had no complaints about my DJ or photo booth or cocktail band. Lots to feel grateful for, but there was no decision that I made better than choosing Amanda. Period.


    With that said here’s the story:


    So I was one of those brides that didn’t think I ~needed~ a wedding planner. I had my wedding planned out for the longest and have a very specific way that I like things. But no matter how “good” I thought I’d be at planning a wedding I could still recognize the benefits of hiring someone to help especially since I was so busy in my personal and professional life.


    I found Amanda on Wedding Wire (along with several other wedding planning companies). I had a very extensive list of questions prepared for when I emailed or called each company to make sure I got to know them and to show them that I was already very organized. Despite all that I also tend to get anxiety, so I knew that one of the biggest things I’d need as a bride was someone who could take charge when needed and help reduce my stress. Without a doubt Amanda made me feel the most comfortable from the very beginning. She answered my barrage of questions with such ease and with such comforting answers. I could tell she wasn’t just giving cookie cutter responses that other companies give to every bride. She was really listening to me and I knew she’d truly cater her services based on my needs.


    In addition I knew I needed someone who could show me their value since I already had so much of my wedding figured out. Let me just say from our first phone call I realized just how much I DIDN’T know and just how much I could benefit from her years of experience in the industry. She has so many insider tips and vendor connections from doing this for so long. Things an above average bride would still never know. Over the course of planning she helped me with things that I would’ve never thought of. That list alone could go on and on and on.


    Amanda is also extremely adaptable and resilient. These are two qualities I think every bride should pay close attention to when hiring someone to handle the biggest event of their life. During planning things will change. Your life will change. Your finances, your personal or professional circumstances, your mood. I had so much go on within the year of planning and no matter what got thrown at her Amanda didn’t lose her professionalism or composure.


    In short, I don’t think I was an easy bride at all but yet Amanda never made me feel otherwise. She let me lead when I wanted and took charge when needed. She proved that she was client-service oriented and never made you feel like a drop in the bucket. She went with me on very personal errands like dress fittings and allowed me to text or call her when I was trying to make a decision on ANYTHING. My fiancé was involved and she dealt with him too. She was always upbeat and positive and just a joy to be around. We set up Starbucks dates and had email status reports between each other. She had AMAZING IDEAS that made my wedding even more beautiful than I could’ve planned on my own. I’m honestly going to miss Amanda. I grew to consider her an actual friend and confidante over all this time. And that’s more than I expected.     Incredible. Simply Amazing!

    Do yourself a favor and hire Amanda and her team this second!! She is hands down the best decision we made for our wedding, besides the decision to marry each other. Amanda has a beautiful way of staying completely calm and joyful in the midst of the stress that wedding planning can bring. She is so much more than a wedding planner, she is a great friend too. We started out as strangers in the beginning of this process and ended as friends. Her company name could not be any more appropriate for her and her team, it’s all about the little details. Her team is professional on wedding day and is fully educated on where to be and when. She truly loves what she does and it shows in every way. I could go on and on but I mean it when I say Amanda and her team are the best out there. You won’t regret having her on board! In fact, your wedding will become more than you could ever dream of if you do.
