Megan who is charge of wedding room blocks was great! She stayed long one day in order to show me the rooms in person and her correspondence via email has been stellar!

We have stayed at the Alexander before so it was a no-brainer to use it for our wedding block! The nice thing is they on't charge you for rooms that don't get filled! Many other hotels will make you pay for the rooms that didn't get reserved! They allowed us to do pictures around the hotel after the ceremony and they are gorgeous! They even made sure myself and the groom were on different floors to minimize the chances of us seeing each other! The night before we rented the Platt99 bar for a Welcome Party. The food was delicious, the cocktails were refreshing and the beer was ice cold! They were a pleasure to work with and everything was fantastic!

My experience working with everyone at The Alexander was absolutely phenomenal. Jennifer was extremely helpful in the early stages while trying to figure out pricing and getting everything booked and she answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. My now husband and I live in Delaware full time and it was difficult planning a wedding in another state but everyone we worked with helped to make all the planning as easy as possible! Mariah exceeded all expectations as she helped us with every little detail of planning to make our day perfect. She was easy to get in contact with when I had any questions, she organized set up with all the different vendors that I had coming in both before the wedding day and the day of and made sure that I had everything that I needed throughout the entire experience. I can not say enough good things about her and we truly could not have done everything without her. The catering staff was amazing as well, my bartender Angela was so friendly and fun and the rest of the staff truly helped transform our reception area (Market Table) into more than I could have even envisioned. Angelo and Madison were helping to set it up and made sure everything was perfect along with answering any questions I had and bringing me water before walking down the aisle :) Madison then brought everything up to my room at the end of the night along with all my presents and cards, the top of my cake, champagne, a congratulatory note and even a note to read in a year on our first wedding anniversary! They truly exceeded all expectations and I could not be happier. In addition to the wonderful staff the hotel itself was stunning. We had our ceremony outside in the Plaza and the day turned out to be beautiful. We then went right inside to the Gallery for cocktail hour and then right next door to Market Table for the reception. Every area had its own unique feel and was perfect for each separate occasion. The hotel rooms were clean and had amazing toiletries and the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever slept with. Overall there isn’t one thing that I would change about this amazing weekend and I wish I could relive the day over and over again with the help of the amazing staff that helped make our special day as effortless for us as possible :)

The Alexander Hotel was not only accommodating, flexible, and professional during our 3 day stay, their customer service during the planning process was impeccable as well. Nightly our guests would convene at the hotel bar offering delicious drinks and an opportunity for everyone to connect.

Caroline and the entire Alexander staff exceeded our every expectation. It was a dream vows ceremony and reception and we would highly recommend this beautiful hotel for any event. From fabulous food to excellent bar service to responsive and friendly staff everywhere, we were impressed beyond words. Thank you from the bottom of my happy heart!

My daughter, Kristen, recently held her wedding reception at the Alexander! It was magnificent! The staff, the food, the atmosphere, the hotel rooms and the location could not have been better! We really appreciated how the entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping, from the servers at the reception to the valet guys, everyone was friendly and very helpful! A special shout out goes to Caroline, catering sales manager for the Alexander. She was exceptionally helpful! The evening was magical! Thank you all!

The Alexander was the perfect place for our reception and just what my husband and I wanted for our special day. I was not looking forward to planning a wedding from a remote city but Caroline the coordinator made the whole process much easier and much more enjoyable than I could ever imagine. I had so many compliments from our guests about the hotel, bar, staff and food at the Alexander. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a downtown Indy wedding!

The Alexander Hotel was a beautiful and welcoming venue. Caroline Myers was supreme at arranging the team and recommending vendors. As an out-of town M-O-B, Caroline was supportive all the way through the months of planning and the final event. Our out of state relatives loved the hotel, food, and accommodations. Highly suggest the buffet for the morning after reception---easy, private and delicious.

The Alexander is ABSOLUTELY amazing!! We choose the Alexander for our venue for our wedding and we could not have chosen an better location. The event coordinator Caroline is one of the kind. Caroline is ABSOLUTELY amazing!! She made sure our day was prefect. We had a little situation come up while our wedding was getting ready to start BUT no worries Caroline came to the rescue and worked EVERYTHING out! Caroline is wonderful.

The staff and food in the Market Place is unbelievable!! My wedding guest is still talking about the food today. The staff literally catered to us in every since of the way.

Caroline and the Alexander offered a truly magical and perfect evening for our family and friends. The entire weekend was seemless and worry-free!

The Alexander Hotel is the perfect venue for a downtown Indianapolis wedding. Their customer service is top-notch, they have multiple options for both your ceremony and reception (indoor and outdoor), and their guest accomodations are second-to-none. On top of all that, the hotel has a very unique, modern and artsy feel, which is a very rare find in Indy when it comes to hotels!

If you want the ease of just showing up and every detail you didn't even realize you wanted being completed to perfection, pick The Alexander!
Their staff seemed genuine in there effort to help with not only Wedding etc. but even hotel stay details. While Bride and Groom were prepping to grab a plate for dinner, the staff made sure to reach the plates first and held them instead. We felt like royalty and were so pleased with the praises guests gave about there stay at the hotel, there wedding experience and the entire wedding weekend. Plus, we received an amazing upgrade on our reception venue!

Planning an out of state wedding seemed like a daunting task, but once being connected with Caroline and the gorgeous Alexander venue, the process seemed not only doable, but very seamless from planning to execution of our perfect wedding! Communication was easy and we were guided through the process to where we could relax once the wedding weekend had actually arrived. No last minute panic about the minor details or needs since we had full trust our outside vendors would come through as they were highly recommend and Caroline had great working relationships with them for a smooth event. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with or a nicer venue with all the accommodations we could ask for! THANK YOU for our perfect wedding weekend that none of us wanted to end!

If I were to choose one aspect of our wedding which was consisently on point throughout the entire process, it would be our venue, The Alexander. The space is absolutely inspiring and speaks for itself with minimal outside decor needed, and the food is out of this world! Our guests are still talking about the food and overall atmosphere today. Caroline was such a pleasure to work with, and she brings a lot of experience to the table. We explained our vision and ideas, and Caroline really brought it all to life! All of the staff at the hotel are friendly, easy-going, and quick to respond. Caroline and all other staff truly relieved any potential stress that can come from choosing a venue and planning the wedding.

I would recommend this venue to any couple that is planning their very special day. We worked with Caroline Myers and her staff, they were absolutely amazing in every single way, from flexibility and accommodation to literally making our wedding visions come to life. I would do anything to go back to our special day and re-live it moment by moment. We plan to spend anniversaries and just evenings downtown at The Alexander. It's so hard to put into words what they have done for us, Caroline was and is absolutely amazing and we can't thank her and The Alexander enough for making our dream wedding more than just a dream come true and for making us and our guests feel like we were home during our stay. Trust them when they say you're wedding day will be beautiful!!! We had the wedding ceremony outside the set up was perfect for our wedding party and guest! The reception inside in the grand ball room simply breath taking just beautiful venue.

From the very beginning The Alexander and Caroline were a dream to work with. When we told Caroline that we wanted a non seated festival style dinner, with a rocking band...all outside, she was equally on board and excited about our idea as we were. She was so organized and guided us with her expertise as we made decisions we never even thought about. Each detail seemed to go above and beyond what was necessary to make sure the event was perfect. Each meeting with Caroline felt like chatting with one of my bridesmaids about wedding details over a glass of wine. When the wedding weekend arrived we felt like celebrities. Many of the staff made a point to come up to us to introduce themselves and made themselves known if we needed anything. The whole day was flawless and if it wasn't they figured out the issues without me even noticing. We received numerous compliments on how awesome the hotel was and how delicious the food was. I could not have imagined our wedding anywhere else!

What a great venue. Do not know how we could of done it without Caroline and the staff at the Alexander. Received a lot of comments of how beautiful the gallery was and the food was wonderful. Staff was very prompt and professional. Caroline you are a huge asset.

We had an amazing wedding reception at the Alexander!!!! We couldn't be any happier with how things turned out. Everyone was very kind and professional.

When we decided to have our wedding reception at the Alexander Hotel we started to work with an amazing Catering and Sales Manager, Caroline Myers. Her title doesn't even come close to everything she tackled and handled for us as she went beyond the call of duty many of times to make sure our time at the Alexander was as we envisioned. Caroline was always in step with us and even though we live in a different state, this was never an issue in the planning process. We had special requests and needs for our reception and Caroline was always gracious in her approach providing us with solid solutions. Caroline was very professional in her manner and details, always giving us clear communications so we always felt well taken care of. Caroline took great care to accommodate our requests and our providing ample rooms for our hotel guests. Caroline offered amazing options at the Alexander Hotel that turned into us also doing our rehearsal dinner in the picturesque Ralston Room on the top floor, and a Sunday brunch in the Art Gallery for our guests. We were able to do a lot within the Hotel space that made everyone happy, it was easy and provided us with a more enjoyable time with our family and friends. We were completely satisfied with Caroline's expertise, her calmness and can do attitude that made our Alexander Hotel wedding weekend one we will always fondly remember, and it will always make us want to come back to the Alexander Hotel to stay and visit our Saint Caroline.

Caroline was exceptional to work with as was the entire staff. Caroline made the entire process very easy and our wedding was flawless. The Alexander was a great choice as a venue and I would choose The Alexander for future events.

The Alexander did an amazing job with our wedding. It was a fairytale that we wish we could re-live everyday. Maxie and her team are the best in the business and we would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to have a beautiful wedding in the heart of the city.

We through a Bat Mitzvah Party at the Alexander for 150 people. We worked with Maxie Haber who was absolutely amazing!! Everything was taken care of, the event was flawless and it was such a pleasure to work with the staff. They were thorough and very professional. I couldn't of asked for a better party and would highly recommend them to anyone throwing any type of celebration. The hotel is absolutely stunning and my guests loved it!

Maxie Haber and the entire crew at The Alexander Hotel were extremely talented at achieving my vision for my wedding day. Everyone was prompt, organized, and extremely helpful. Not only helpful on the day of the wedding, but the day after and the many weeks before. The food was nothing short of AMAZING. Their ability to transform a ballroom to my dream come true was completely beyond my expectations and gorgeous to say the least. I highly recommend this vendor for any event you are looking to plan. Our daughter had a vision for her wedding and the Alexander did everything possible to make that vision come alive. Working with Maxie at The Alexander was effortless and she was always very prompt on getting us answers to our questions. No doubt we will stay at The Alexander whenever we head downtown and need a hotel to stay at. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and put our guest at ease.
