  You jump, I jump right?!

  Long overdue review. But we still think about the Allens whenever we see our beautiful, crazy elopement photos Jiyeon took of us!
  
  We had split our session into two days with Jiyeon: our wedding ceremony at the City Hall with our families and a session at our art school where me and my husband met. Jiyeon was really accommodating and flexible throughout the entire planning process.
  
  It's so rare to meet somebody who is so creative and passionate about what they do. Jiyeon was really excited from the get-go. When she heard we wanted to take our elopement photos at our art school - which involved playing with spray paint, eating popcorn at the auditorium, biking in our mini bikes...she was really open-minded about our crazy ideas!
  
  Our photos were genuine, full of life and they were unique. Jiyeon really captured our spirit and our friends and family all loved it. We're really hoping to work with the Allens again next year as we plan our anniversary party, but I'm so happy to say that we've found photographers that our good partners in crime.
  
  TLDR; Passionate, professional and super creative photographers that will do anything with you. You have to work with them.

  New best friends

  I cry every time I see our pictures. I have never been more moved by photography - nothing was staged, nothing felt fake. Raw, real, vulnerable. They captured everything. To quote my VERY hard to impress father - "They were worth every penny". Jiyeon and Torian are phenomenal people with huge hearts and smiles and I truly feel like we made friends in choosing them. I hope they will be documenting our family for years to come :)

  Authentic, beautiful photos that we will cherish forever!

  We loved working with Jiyeon and Torian! We specifically chose them for our special day based on their incredible ability to capture the little, special moments, and we were not disappointed. The day of the wedding, they were both so much fun to work with yet somehow snuck into some of the most private, tender moments without us knowing. They pour so much love and thought into their art, and you can tell from looking at the photos. They truly have a gift for capturing pure emotion and love! Jiyeon was so thoughtful to send over a few “sneak peeks” shortly after the wedding for us to enjoy, and we received all of our photos so much quicker than we had expected. We will cherish our photos forever and can’t recommend them enough, especially if you are looking for a candid, authentic depiction of your day.

  Ninjas with Cameras! You will adore them.

  Another reviewer describes Jiyeon and Torian as Ninjas with Cameras and I couldn't agree more with them! Our wedding day was such a joyful blur, so we were absolutely blown away when we received our photos: they were somehow everywhere at all times, capturing the essence of our family and friends perfectly, without ever pulling focus or distracting from the wedding. Several people even expressed surprise at how many beautiful angles of our ceremony they captured, since they never remember seeing them. We knew immediately when we first spoke with Jiyeon and Torian (over Facetime) they were exactly who we wanted around us on our wedding day. We were already in love with the style of their work (higher contrast, almost moody, textured photos, and candid in a beautiful, omniscient way). A couple themselves, they communicate on a deeper level and bring their own love and joy to everything they do. You will adore them. Trust!

  This photographer couple is amazing! Very prompt responses, very friendly. On my wedding day they they were so good at capaturing the special moments, making everyone feel natural and having fun! They are simply incredible. Their photos are phenomenal too!

  You will not be disappointed with The Allens, do not hesitate. They are amazing at their craft and I wish I had more reasons to utilize them. My wife and I were new to the wedding scene (like most people I would imagine) and The Allens were recommended to me by a close friend. I had no idea what I was in for, or what to even ask. I submitted my information via their website and that same day I received a response - If I remember correctly, it was within a few hours. That precedent never tapered off. I distinctly remember going over details with them through email around 9:00 pm when I couldn't sleep because my mind was racing...they were there to answer...right away. I believe our wedding was a little different than most, we only required two hours of their services, but it took about an hour to get to our remote location from our "meet up" spot. When I asked if the hour drive would be part of the two hours that I had reserved, their answer was simple, "No." It sounds like such a trivial question, but it was such a huge relief for one of my many last minute questions. Once we got to our venue, they immediately started unpacking their equipment and scoping out locations and lighting for pictures. Again, I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I wanted 1 photo in particular with the whole family situated in a specific location. They agreed and offered their suggestions to make the photo that much better. During the ceremony, they were quite discreet despite getting phenomenal shots/angles of my wife and I. Maybe I was oblivious, maybe I was too caught up in the moment, but more than likely, they are just that good that I did not even notice that they were right next to/behind me. The emotions that they were able to capture on mine and my wife's face, and our families faces is incredibly impressive. Again, nobody noticed they were there. I wish there we more characters for this review and more stars to give them!

  The Allen's Photography is simply AMAZING. One of the BEST decisions we made with our wedding planning was booking with Torian & Kelly. They are so CARING, thoughtful, loving and hard-working. They go above and beyond with their photography and it shows. So easy to work with even from thousands of miles away! We booked our wedding in Indiana with them while they are living in California and it was seamless. Check out their photos and they speak for themselves. Worth every penny! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  Jiyeon and Torian were super nice and fun to work with, and our photos came out GREAT. They were exactly the style I was looking for - minimal posing, photoournalism-style of the party, perfect! And after a long photographer search in the planning phase, really reasonably priced for the quality. Thanks, guys!

  Working with Jiyeon and Torian during such a stressful and exciting time was a dream come true. Not only are they perfectly laid-back and sweet, but they are also extremely professional and genuinely care about their craft. My now-husband and I never had any worries about photography once we booked The Allens-- we were simply confident that we nailed this aspect of our special day. And I can't tell you how many times I've looked through our pictures in the last few months. They are perfect. We highly recommend the engagement photoshoot so you can see how you photograph together, but also have a run-through with the Allens to see how they operate as well. We adore them and hope to remain good friends! :)

  When searching for a photographer for our wedding, our biggest hope was to find someone who would capture the magic of the day just as we remember it. The Allens did just that. From our initial phone call Jiyeon and Torian made us feel confident that the photos we would get would be the best quality and the artistic look we wanted. We had planned an outdoor fall wedding and I was bummed when it rained that day but they still managed to make the day feel like a dream. The Allens are both professional and passionate about their work and it made for better photos than we could have imagined. We feel truly lucky to have worked with them.

  We just received the pictures today and they are so great. The pictures are more beautiful than we would ever expect. They are great couple and great photographers. We felt very comfortable with them. They are so friendly and so professional. We are so excited to have them in our wedding in July as well!!

  My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary this feb and wanted to celebrate by having professional photos done. This was the first time using the Allens photography, They did such a wonderful job, we especially loved the candid ones. They work very well as a team, Mr Allen was very good at getting my kids to smile, he even had them laughing, and trust me it is so hard to get my son to smile, he is so serious. Our photos were very natural looking and that's what I wanted.Not to mention they are a very sweet and friendly couple. very pleasant to be around, honest too. The photos were also very clear and professional looking. I would definitely use this company again to take any future photos of ours, and I recommend them to any one looking for great quality photography. Thank you Allan Photography.
