  Out of this world wedding!!!

  Out of this world WEDDING! Father Gregory is INCREDIBLE! He was always radiant and in high spirit throughout the journey to get my daughter married. The day of the wedding he really went above any of my expectations, he had personalized the ceremony, made beautiful choices to make it even more special. We just got some sneak peak of the pictures and my daughter was overwhelmed with joy! Gorgeous grounds, spectacular arquitectural structure, gorgeous bridal suite, we love cats and animals and the monastery is a sanctuary for them. Father Gregory got many compliments from our family, stating that it was best wedding ever. And it was!!! MIRNA CURRAS from Art Flowers & Events took care of the cocktail, catering, flowers and decor and the court yard was exquisite, food was delicious, she even prepared a champagne tower, the ambiance was breathtaking and exquisite! A big thanks to Carolina that helped make everything possible. We just can't stop looking over the photographs over and over again, reliving every moment again.

  Amazing!

  We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue to help make our dreams come true!! The Ancient Spanish Monastery was beyond beautiful and captivating! We are so lucky to have found it and Carolina was the best coordinator! She made our life easy and helped my wife's vision come together!

  Magic & Romance

  We are so happy we chose The Ancient Spanish Monastery for our wedding! It is absolutely beautiful, and our guests were grateful to have traveled to celebrate at such a special location. Carolina who manages the weddings was wonderful to work with. She made the whole process stress free and was a huge support on our big day!

  Beautiful venue and wonderful professionals.

  My daughter was recently married at the monastery: the venue is stunning, the guests were awed by the beauty and history. Carolina is a wonderful professional and hiring her as day of coordinator was a great decision. She was available to help us each time we called her, and always responded with guidance and assurance. She worked tirelessly for us. We are grateful to her and to all the professionals that maintain and promote this beautiful monastery.

  Absolutely Magical

  This venue truly made our wedding absolutely incredible! I still have guests raving about how unique, beautiful, and overall blown away they were that this venue even exsisted in Miami! As soon as we visited the venue, we knew that no where else would compare. The atmosphere was absolutely magical!

  Leticia and Gabriel’s Feb. 8, 2019 wedding

  When my daughter and her fiancé were planning their wedding a few months ago the first step was looking for the perfect venue. We discovered a beautiful hidden monastery right in the middle of such a big busy city like Miami. Just entering its peaceful grounds transports you to a magical space in time. We all fell in love with this place but the day of the wedding seeing it transform from a sunny crisp cool February afternoon, to the perfect sunset and then the lovely lilac lit cloisters inside was just stunning. All our wedding guest were in awe of the beautiful site. Their Wedding Day Coordinator Carolina del Vecchio did an excellent job from the months before the wedding till the day of the wedding. She was always available to answer our questions and made excellent suggestions. On the wedding day she relieved the stress we had by taking charge of the vendors who were setting up and made our wedding timeline run smoothly. We highly recommend this vendor and their employees. You will marvel on how beautiful and stunning your wedding photos will turn out.

  My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in late April. It is a beautiful and unique venue and we were so happy that we chose it. Our guests were in awe of its beauty and history all night. I want to specially thank the event coordinator there named Carolina del Vecchio because she helped us every step of the way as we planned our reception from a different state. Carolina provided us amazing service before, during, and after our event. I was able to really trust her advice and she was also always very warm, supportive, and professional. She went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests for the layout of our event. The Ancient Spanish Monastery is a beautiful place with wonderful staff. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a special venue :)

  Everything about this place is beautiful. Thank you to the staff and Priest for making my wedding the wedding of my dreams. The venue is beautiful and you have so many choices when it comes to picking where you want your reception/ceremony to be hosted. Carolina is the coordinator there and does an amazing job helping you in every step of the way and on your wedding day. The priest met us before the ceremony and delivered a beautiful service we will remember forever. We will forever be grateful!

You will not find a more unique and stunning place to get married in all of Miami. Our guests were in awe of the setting for our March 16 and every picture looked like it is from a magazine. What is great, it is a place you can maximize and use for all your wedding needs (pictures, ceremony, cocktail hour and party) Carolina and her team helped make our big day a dream. She was our wedding day of coordinator and had an incredible keen eye for detail. She made sure everything ran smoothly and helped craft a timeline that was effective and so fun. She is very knowledgeable about weddings and passionate about what she does. She goes the extra mile (while taking pictures before the party she made sure we were eating and getting drinks!) The vendors she suggests in her vendor booklet are AMAZING and have worked at the monastery countless times before.   Had my ceremony there its magical, everyone raved about how beautiful the location is and how magical it is. Since most people were from Broward/Palm Beach or out of state none one really knew that place existed so it was a nice surprise for all of our guest. The history in that place and the looks of it its like a mini part of old romantic Europe in miami. Highly recommend

  Not only was the monastery a very special and photographic setting for our wedding, but Father Greg was an amazing celebrant with a personal touch. The onsite chapel, The Chapel of St Bernard de Clairveaux, was a memorable and spiritual location for our wedding ceremony.
  
  Carolina the in house wedding expert anawered all calls and emails, making it easier for this out of town bride to feel comfortable from afar.
  
  We had some hiccups during the evening reception partially due to terrible weather, but the Monastery deserves a five star rating based on the caring, prompt and professional response we received days after our wedding.

The only thing we would do differently is rent portabl air conditioners to keep guests cool while eating. Dancing under the stars was incredible, worth the extra cost to have the staff wrap the trees in lights and light tiki torches. Spend the extra few hundred dollars to hire the wedding coordinator Carolina for the day. Well worth it for the peace of mind as she stays on top of details.

  Carolina and Nelly were spectacular considering I planned the entire wedding from Los Angeles! They answered every single one of my questions no matter how many times I called, they recommended catering services, asked me if there was anything I needed. My husband and I fell in love with Father Greg. We couldn't imagine anyone else marrying us but him! We had such a lovely meeting with him and he made our wedding ceremony so personalized with only things our close friends/family would know. I never wanted my ceremony to end because he is one of the main reasons why it was so magical. Carolina, Nelly and Father Greg thank you for making my wedding day even more magical than I could ever imagine. We are so grateful and we love you!

Tania and Carolina were wonderful and helped set my mind at ease leading up to the wedding (especially because I had many issues with my caterer). The whole venue was breathtaking! My guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything looked and how majestic the venue was, we did cocktail hour in the loggia and the guests enjoyed the ambiance. I hired Carolina as my day of wedding coordinator and was worth every penny, she went above and beyond and assured that my event was a success and that everything went off perfectly! Highly recommend!

  We had our wedding ceremony held at the Spanish Monastery. The staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us all the attention and assistance on our wedding day. It was a very blessed day in a gorgeous place!

  This was the most AMAZING venue ever!!! Beautiful, grand, and wonderful! Fairy tale wedding!!!
  
  The girls were awesome and super helpful! I had an assigned event coordinator on the day of the wedding that was amazing! The organist was awesome as well in the chapel.
  
  I had the ceremony in the chapel and the reception in the cloisters.
  
  Not to mention is a picture perfect place!!!

  Absolutely beautiful! We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Monastery. Cocktail Hour was in the garden and dinner and dancing in The Cloisters.. All night I kept hearing from y guests that this was the most beautiful wedding reception they had ever been to. The place was magical!

  The ladies at The Monastery are extremely nice and easy to work with.
  From the moment I reserved the date to the day of the wedding, they were spot on.
  They recommended me to A Alexander Event in Boca and they were right: Felix at Alexander Event Catering took care of all food, open bar, seating, linens...just about everything.
  Felix is top notch, his team is amazing.
  I highly recommend The Spanish Monastery and Alexander Event!!!!

In July of 2012 I booked the Spanish Monastery for a Valentine's day wedding in 2014. This venue was amazing. We had folks coming in from New Jersey, Orlando, Tampa expecting a regular wedding at either a hotel, banquet hall or ballroom. When our guests arrived they were in AWE! This place is truly magical, beautiful, and breathtaking. I highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for romance and elegance. Our ceremony was also held here in the chapel, so it was a one stop shop, which made it all the better. Chapel was also amazing, very intimate and gorgeous!

  My dream wedding came true here for sure. They were easy to work with and very affordable. The location is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding make you feel like you've landed in another time abd it's your wedding day! Definitely top choice for brides in Miami
