Outstanding

We just had Britt and the antibride team floral at our wedding and I was blown away. I knew she makes beautiful pieces, but was amazed by what she came up with for the bouquets, alter, sweetheart table and cakes. It was beyond any expectations. She is great with hearing your vision and making it come to life.

Moody Romantic Dream!

My heavens where shall I begin. My wedding was an absolute dream. A dream I waited many years to have, and Britt and the team manifested every aspect of this dream. Britt is such a sweet and dear soul and beyond a pleasure to work with, her attention to detail in listening to every aspect of my dream wedding and creating it for my special day. The florals were absolutely stunning, the tablescapes were insanely gorgeous and Britt nailed the moody romantic fall wedding vibes I wanted. The day of was seamless, and my needs were met throughout the entire day so I could truly be present and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. A wedding is such a special and sacred time, and I could not have entrusted in a better team. Forever grateful🌻

Amazing experience from start to finish!

Hiring The Anti Bride for my wedding was the best decision I made that day besides marrying my husband! I worked with their team for my wedding flowers, makeup, a few of my rentals and also hired them as my month of wedding coordinators which saved me a lot of stress. At our initial phone meeting we simply explained to them our vision for the wedding and from that day they worked closely with us to make it happen. Communication was a breeze with them. Any suggestions that Jennea or Britt made only enhanced our vision without changing it, above all they never tried upselling us and were conscious of our budget. We live out of state so we put our full trust in them and weren’t disappointed. I was a little scattered talking about flowers since I’m not a professional but Jennea walked me through the process and shared with me photos of her work. Recently one of my guest confessed to me that my flowers have been the nicest wedding flowers she’s ever seen, she described it as a living garden on the table which was perfect because I wanted a garden whimsical feel. In regards to the month of planning Britt was a dream to work with. I asked Britt last minute for a basket with blankets since our ceremony was outdoors in late February, she quickly gathered what she had in her inventory and even went out of her way to buy a few extra (I got a lot of compliments on the blankets)! Obviously I kept my request within reason and tried to give as much time as possible but overall the main point is The Anti Bride team was pleasant and accommodating from start to finish. Thank you The Anti Bride for making my wedding look more beautiful than what I imagined it to be! I wish I lived closer so I could use you for all of my events.

Jeanne and her team are AMAZING. She understood exactly what I wanted and very thoughtfully helped me bring it to life all the while keeping in mind my budget. She is professional, responsive and very willing to collaborate creatively. She has such an eye for colors and shapes that make her florals so unique. I just can't stop looking at pictures of the flowers from my big day. Seriously, don't think, BOOK HER NOW!

Best. Florist. Ever.

Jeanne is one of the most talented florists you will ever meet. For my wedding, I wanted something very different with all the colors. Most florists looked at me like I was crazy- but Jeanne was more than happy (and excited) to make my dreams come true. She stayed in constant communication with me leading up to the wedding; sending me sample pictures of the flowers, meeting for coffee to discuss ideas, and pictures of the flowers once they were shipped and she was playing with them and making the bouquets. If you want to book the most talented, kindest and best florist- look no further! Jeanne is who you're looking for - she's amazing.

Oh where to start... Jeanne is absolutely fantastic! When I first stumbled upon her I thought there would be no way that I could afford her but I took the chance and reached out to her and I am so happy I did. She took my word tropically and lush and she did that and more! I had two requests for flowers, the rest were really up to her vision, and she just went above and beyond! My bouquet was big and wow and each of the table arrangements were completely different and unique from the next. I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the floral arrangements were and the choice of flowers used. I could not have asked for anything more.
Jeanne also did my makeup on top of everything else she was working on and it was just absolutely flawless! She truly is the best at what she does and had I not have had a photographer I totally would have used her for that to.

I would recommend her 110%!

When I found The Anti-Bride website online I thought no way I could afford this type of photography, every picture I saw was remarkable. I was surprised when Jeanne was so willing to work with us. She was early to arrive and even stayed a little late outside of our contracted time to get some more pictures for us. She was fun, professional and always there when something was happening. She was so great to work with and took pictures that went above and beyond our expectations. Using the Anti-Bride for our wedding photography was by far the best thing we did! SO pleased with everything Jeanne did for us.

I never wanted to have a wedding because I just couldn't look past all of the cheesy and tackiness that came with them. I found Jeanne and instantly knew that my tacky wedding speculations could be proven wrong. I worked with her from day one starting out doing engagements photos, makeup, save the dates, addressing my envelopes and boudoir photos. Then together we picked out all of the decor, along with the chairs, linens and china. When it came time for the flowers, I completely put my trust in her. She asked me what colors I liked and my opinion, but for the most part I just wanted her to do her thing. She is also responsible for helping me find ALL of my other vendors, which are just as amazing as she.

I can not tell you how beautiful my wedding was because of her. My husband described our wedding as Heaven. We cant stop looking at photos of the decor! She is incredibly talented and so good at what she does. We are so happy we had a wedding because of Jeanne and we will be forever grateful to her.

I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with the work of The Anti Bride. From the very first meeting, until the the very last centerpiece, she was AMAZING! Jeanne was booked on the actual day of my wedding but agreed to come the day before to decorate onsite for our wedding. I am so happy that she did! The arrangements were amazing. Artistic works of art! The quality of flowers and choices she made for fillers were perfect. The arrangements were as beautiful the next day as they were the second she made them. She worked with me step by step to arrive at the exact look I wanted. I could not have imagined my flowers any more beautiful than they were. She took my vision and wrapped it in her amazing artistic talent and made our wedding the day of my dreams. She has a talent in floral choice and arrangement that is rare, unique and beautiful, and I am beyond blessed that I found her. She is a beautiful person both inside and out and it pours out in her work. Simply amazing!

I don’t even know where to begin with Jeanne…I guess the first thing I should say is that my wedding would have sucked majorly without her involvement! We were hesitant about having a wedding because we felt that nobody would “get us”, our vision, our hopes for this day, we found that in Jeanne and more than we could have ever wished for. I pretty much gagged at anything and everything wedding…I knew I would probably have to compromise and hated that there wasn't an alternative…I am so thankful for the day I was referred to Jeanne, because that was the day everything changed!

Jeanne did our engagement pictures, which captured us as a couple and all those candid and loving moments, they were real and spectacular. She has an amazing eye for beauty. We will treasure these forever.

She also did the make up for the wedding day and the engagement shoot…I've never felt prettier, I am not a big fan of makeup, but Jeanne highlighted my features in such a lovely way and made everyone in our party look gorgeous.

Last but not least, Jeanne did our flowers….and boy did she! I urge you to check out her previous work, you will fall in love! I have never seen arrangements like these, so unique, natural, exquisite, and jaw dropping. She has impeccable taste; her arrangements should be featured in high-end magazines! She belongs in a big city or working for the queen of England :) But instead we are lucky to have her here. I am still getting compliments on how gorgeous everything was, I really can’t describe it other than to say that I have never seen something so beautiful, and I could not believe that it was MY wedding.

Other than being a multi-talented artist Jeanne is such a pleasure to work with, she goes above and beyond for her clients and her work is evidence of this. She will not be happy until she has achieved perfection. She is one cool chick and she rocks, I could not have found someone better, best wedding decision I made.

When it came to envisioning Kyle and my wedding day, I had no clue. I was lost. I knew what I liked and what I didn't like but I just couldn't put it all together. Thank GOODNESS for Jeanne!

Jeanne has an amazing talent of really listening. She spent time with me, getting to know me, what I liked, what I didn't like Then she started presenting her ideas and they were beyond what I could imagine! After the first meeting I knew that she was the person to make Kyle and my wedding absolutely perfect. From that time on, we just connected and on the big day, all I can say is...it was magical. And I owe it all...and I mean everything...to her.

Everything was incredibly unique. From using my Grandmother's silver to arranging every single escort card, she did it all! I remember the day we spent trying to find just the right invitation. Book after book, sample after sample, we couldn't find what we were looking for. The next thing I knew, she took out her sketch pad and starting designing the most elegant invitation that I could have imagined.

Jeanne is an amazing artist that seems to be able to take an idea and make magic. The best part about her, I didn't have to stress about making decisions because she did it ALL for me!

I am so very happy to now call her my friend.

My maid of honor found Jeanne through a mutual friend and thank goodness she did, because I couldn't imagine planning a wedding without her. Jeanne is creative, caring and thoughtful. Throughout the entire planning process Jeanne carefully listened to my ideas - always respecting my vision, while encouraging me to think more creatively about what a wedding could look like.

Jeanne was a dream to work with on my wedding day. She's extremely detail oriented and a very hard worker. My wedding day was chaotic and I found so much comfort in Jeanne because she remained calm and focused as everything around us became hectic.

You will not find a more caring event planner. My husband and I have so many memories we cherish because Jeanne really thought about who we were as a couple and then incorporated special touches into our wedding.

Jeanne loves her brides and takes such good care of them. I highly recommend The Anti Bride and cannot say enough wonderful things about this company.

Our planner recommended Jeanne after I wasn't really feeling any of the makeup artists in the area that I had looked at online or spoken to on the phone. Other people either didn't really seem my style or were a bit pricey. Jeanne is fabulous. She did a trial for me on the day of my rehearsal and then made small adjustments that I wanted on the day of. She also did the makeup for my four bridesmaids and both mothers. She really adapted to the style and skin tone all these different women. We were all incredibly happy and I think we looked beautiful. Jeanne was a pleasure to work with and we all loved spending the day with her while getting ready. And most importantly, my makeup looked incredible all night!

My flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted, and more. The price was exceptional and Jeanne was flexible to help meet our budget. At first, I was discouraged with the lack of a contract and the informal communication but it turn out great in the end.

Unprofessional

Where do I even begin. First, I typically want to write positive reviews for businesses, not negative ones, but with everything that has unfolded with Antibride, I feel as though it's an absolute must to share. Brides please read so you don't waste your time and you hire a company that truly wants to be there for you during your special day.
Antibride was recommended by our venue as their preferred wedding planner. Which I plan to write them a formal email with the negative reviews as well as my experience, because each of those sound exactly the same as my experience with Britt. I also noticed that quite a few of the positive ones are other vendors in the industry leaving a review on her behalf, but they are not customers nor have they experienced the business/customer relationship with Antibride to even leave a review for other brides to be able to rely on.
At this time we have canceled our wedding due to me being pregnant. Our wedding was to be in Oct (this was a rescheduled date) and we canceled it in February. 8 month notice! We had hired Antibride for two things. Her "something in between package" which consisted of "month of" planning and paid additional $500 for her inventory for decorations. We also hired her for floral arrangements. Both together we're around 6k PAID IN FULL.
I contacted all our vendors last month that were paid in full, and they all, but Antibride, issued me a prompt refund holding deposit.
It has been 1 month and 2 days since I sent our cancellation email and l've followed up many times.
The response I received from the owner Britt was she needed to look into her financials to see if they could reissue me a refund. (Seems a little odd to me considering floral arrangements don't get made or flowers paid for until much closer to the wedding day... so are you telling me you've spent the money that l've paid you elsewhere? What would have happened when it was time to buy my flowers? Isn't the point of holding a deposit is if a cancellation happens?
Outside of wishing I'd receive a refund (with the exception of deposit) for BOTH services, here are some things we did experience.
1. Britt and her team are awful at responding to anything. It's very unprofessional. Clearly by many other reviews and brides i know personally who haven't left a review, have experienced this as well. As a bride you want to be able to rely on those you hire, you cannot do that with Britt. Even more disrespectfully, there's been plenty of times l've emailed/texted/called and gone without a single response from Britt, yet she seems to be available to be posting on her personal social media page quotes, pictures of food, art etc but can't respond to a text during that time? And takes 2 plus weeks to reply, if at all, to an email.
2. I had two meetings with Antibride and both in which she was late. I get it, we are human, but two times in a short period is unprofessional. Along with she referred her friends company for wedding cake tasting for us.
We arrive when scheduled for this said tasting in 5 points, her friend was not there. The employees contacted her and she said "I'm at an event, Britt never told me about this meet up for a tasting, so I won't be able to make it today." When trying to contact Britt about this, as we arranged our day for this tasting, confirmed it with her, along with got a babysitter for our 4 year old, did we hear back from her? No, of course not promptly. I believe it was hours later saying sorry let's reschedule. (In which we didn't do).
3. I was told when hiring for both services that they would set up two tables for me as "examples" so we could say yay or nay on what we like. This was a big selling factor to me and I was very excited to visually see the ideas! When I asked about it, I was told I was mistaken (I was not. It was the entire reason I signed the contract and decided to go with Britt for both services).
There's many things that I could go on about and I didn't even use Britt but glad I didn't at this point.

Terrible and unprofessional

Make you pay the full payment, promise that you have everything that you ask them for when they actually dont have ANY OF IT, don’t show up to scheduled meetings, very rude, arrogant, unprofessional and unapologetic! Don’t go with the anti bride to plan your wedding or engagement party as they are your worst nightmare. Wont give a refund for their poor service and didn’t even record the correct number of guests after being told multiple times. Cant even respond to calls or emails. AVOID THE ANTI BRIDE

The most stressful part of my wedding was my wedding planner.

The AntiBride is a wedding planning service that offers a number of options to include - planning, inventory of decor, florals, makeup and day of coordination….pretty hard to pass up. I want to share my personal experience to help future brides make the right choice for them.

I hired Britt McClogan and the Antibride team in 2020 for my planned 2022 wedding. We were lucky enough to have no impact due to COVID. In the beginning, Britt was great - very responsive and engaged.

My trust in The Anti Bride shattered due to a chasm in communication when I sent time sensitive emails on 5/19, 5/22 & 5/23, 6/4 and 6/10. Texts on 5/16, 5/27, and 6/14; in the texts I recognized their request to not text Britt’s personal phone however the failure to reply in email, and the non existent office number lead me to text out of desperation. (On every website Britt’s cell is listed with 24/7. ) Facebook and IG messages were sent on 6/15 and 6/16. The only reason I got a reply was I completed a request as if a new customer request in their website! The reply I got (“Hi Ashley! I saw your inquiry email come thru but none of your other messages are in my inbox - I’m looking through everything now via Hallie’s inbox / email! “) failed to acknowledge any lapse in communication, the multiple methods of communication attempted or any accountability. Shortly after we had a 2 hr meeting with Britt - the owner of the company - no apology was provided, no reason given, no attempt to resolve any loss of trust. We were so close to the wedding we couldn’t start over - we took full advantage of all of the services offered in the seemingly perfect one stop shop.

The timeline was an issue. After another 2 hr
meeting, it was clearly communicated Britt would circle back with the vendors to share
the timeline and collaborate on any adjustments that would need to be considered. None of my vendors heard from Britt by phone or email. This lead to confusion and frustration among all of my vendors, they having completed their own timeline unaware of any master timeline to work from. The timeline was also delivered late after no communication once again.

The manner in which Britt presents her opinion or perceived expertise fails to acknowledge the conversations I had with other vendors, what’s more important to us as a couple and that we may not WANTED to do things in a traditional order for our own reasons of not enjoying that agenda in multiple other weddings. They are after all The ANTI bride, we were hopeful some non traditional thinking would be welcomed. It was apparent to me that after giving her opinion and I didn’t agree or wanted something different she seemed disappointed and at times inflexible.

Two weeks before my wedding I was lied to about the makeup artist backing out last minute. She had, in fact, communicated months before but I was told 2 wks before my wedding day with no options but to use the backfill they presented with no real chance to do a trial since I lived 4 hrs away.

But in the end, after the gap in communication that delayed our invitations and the gap in communication that delayed our timeline, I was sent an email questioning my trust in The Anti Bride a few days before my wedding. This underlined the fact that the most stressful part of my wedding planning was dealing with my wedding planner. As if I didn’t have enough going on, that email was inconsiderate and untimely.

Shannon and Jenna (day of coordinators) were amazing, if I were them I would jump ship and go to a more reputable wedding planning company. They both were absolutely incredible and none of my previous comments reflect on them. Any other company would be lucky to have them. The florals were stunning, I would recommend the floral design to any bride. The manner in which we were handled as clients by the business owner is the sole reason I would recommend all brides look for a different wedding planner.

Beyond Disappointed

I wish I was writing a different review. I wanted beautiful, abundant, vibrant florals for my wedding day on 10/8/22. What I received was not at all what the other women show on this site. The company did not deliver that quality of design or quantity of flowers. I received mostly greens when I wanted porch pillars covered in blooms. Beyond that, the proprietor, Brit, was the most unprofessional person I've ever worked with. She was 30 mins. to 1 hr. late to every meeting we had, or she moved the meeting day of when we had already rearranged our work day schedules. She missed deadlines she promised us herself by weeks within a month of the wedding, and did not respond to requests for updates on status. When she finally did respond, she was rude, and still gave us no confirmation of where she was in her process. 2 weeks and 5 days from my wedding date, we were consulting with another florist. I wish I had gone with them, but I gave Britt another chance when she finally showed us a Pinterest board of flowers 2 days later. I don't know how long it takes to order flowers, but as I said, what we received was not at all what was expected. It's my opinion that we did not get what was paid for. Unfortunately it's a day we don't get to do over.
