It’s always hard doing an online review that I know will not even come close to encompassing how amazing, dedicated, talented, and perfect Stephanie was for our engagements, wedding day and beyond! She is so personable and assertive, keeping an eye on the clock at all times to get every single shot that I wanted, while making every moment fun. My bridesmaids were constantly telling me how great she was doing throughout the day and how they wanted her as their wedding photographer. I highly recommend booking The Axtells. Stephanie is amazing at what she does. We had her for our engagement shoot and wedding day. We were nervous going into our engagement shoot as we never had a professional photoshoot before. However, Stephanie immediately made us feel comfortable and it ended up being so much fun. She was great at directing us. Our wedding day went awesome. Stephanie was very on top of things and we were actually ahead of schedule which made the wedding day even more enjoyable. We were beyond happy with how are photos turned out! Can't say enough good things about our photo experience. -

Working with Stephanie was so much fun and we love our pictures! We set up a package for our engagement shoot and wedding which she helped us put together according to our budget and wedding dreams. After the engagement shoot we knew we made the right decision! We are definitely not accustomed to photoshoots but she has a way of making it so easy, comfortable, and fun! She is ORGANIZED AND CREATIVE! Our pictures perfectly capture the vintage/old money vibes we were going for while still remaining true to the bridal/wedding photo needs. I came across Stephanie Axtell from another previous wedding video and in the short video, I knew I needed to have them for my wedding! Charles made us feel at ease when going on camera and Casie brought out our personalities. Also - I could go on and on about how wonderful they were on camera, but seriously, they are just GOOD people. Casie also swooped in and helped with bustling my un-bustled dress! An outstanding ovation all around to this whole crew. Book them - you will be so thankful you did!!! -

The Axtell's came highly recommended by my wedding planner and venue, and we were not disappointed! My husband and I are both slightly awkward in front of cameras, but Charles and Stephanie knew how to bring out the best in us and show our personalities. They were fun to be around, made us feel comfortable, worked well with our photographer/other vendors and we really felt like they understood us and what we wanted. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Axtell’s! Stephanie and her team took our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and videos. They are extremely pleasant to work with and the outcome is simply GORGEOUS!
On our wedding day, Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure we got every dream picture we wanted. Not to mention they drove hours to come spend the day with us. My husband and I are a bit camera shy, but Stephanie helped us feel very comfortable and we look so natural in our photos. I’d hire them over and over again! -

My fiance orginally was being stingy about the cost of a photographer so we intitally choose the cheapest one we agreed upon. Do not do what we did. Once we paid the 50% deposit they became unresponsive for more than 3 weeks (um hello its 2021, put up an out of office repsonse! ) and that made us so nervous we dropped them and had to start all over again. In comes Stephanie ! Not only was she and her husband incrediably tallented and a JOY to work with, they were excellent communicators, responded to every email/text/smoke-signal promptly and delievered our beautiful photos faster than ever expected. You get what you pay for with photographers and they captured every moment of our wedding. 11/10 recommend. -

We hired Stephanie and her husband Charles to do our wedding photography and videography. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Absolutely beautiful work. Stephanie shot our engagement session, my bridal portraits, and our entire wedding day. Getting to know her and getting to see her work was one of the highlights of my wedding planning process. She is so very talented, accommodating, professional, fun, and most of all: can make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Stephanie and Charles are absolutely incredible to work with and so amazing at what they do! I have been sitting here trying to put into words how much of a positive impact they made on our wedding day and no words seem good enough.

Wow... where to begin?! Stephanie was amazing to work with from start to finish. When COVID disrupted our original plans, Stephanie was extremely eager and willing to help despite her crazy schedule to get us back on the books for our new date. Throughout the entire wedding day, Stephanie rolled with the punches and creatively offered solutions to photos when it decided to downpour outside - the final product was better than we could have ever imagined. She has amazing energy, a positive attitude, and really cares about her couples - you can tell she's passionate about her work. I'd book Stephanie a million times over if I could! -

Stephanie and Charles are a talented photo/video power couple! I am waiting for the rest of the photos and video to come back, but if they are anything like the sneaks- OH MY GOSH! I can't say enough good things about Stephanie and Charles. What an incredible team of talented individuals. I chose them based on their portfolio, organization and reviews but wow what a joy they are to work with. They made everyone so happy and comfortable on our wedding day. They showed up earlier than expected, helped us get organized, and got us ahead of our timeline. They were amazing at directing everyone and perfectly understood our style and helped everyone have fun. When we got our photos back we couldn't wait to show everyone. The first time we met I could instantly tell how extremely organized she was (made my teacher heart happy) and how passionate she was about her job. We had our first “photo shoot” experience with Stephanie for our engagement pictures and I couldn’t believe how fun and easy she made it. That’s when we knew we picked the perfect photographer! Stephanie and Charles are overall awesome, down to earth people that you want hanging around on your wedding day. We hired Stephanie to shoot our engagement session and wedding/reception and couldn't be happier with her work! She really made us feel comfortable with the engagement shoot as we never had professional pictures taken before. She had beautiful places to go in Wilmington and endless cute poses. For the wedding, she ensured that she caught every important moment and knew how to direct everyone's attention for the best photos. She got us 80 "highlight" photos on Monday.. 2 days after the wedding! And it only took her ~4-5 weeks to get our entire album. We are so pleased with our pictures and so thankful for Stephanie. We would recommend her to anyone!!! -

Stephanie photographed our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our wedding in North Myrtle Beach, SC. She was amazing and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and all of our photos turned out beautifully! Wow! Where to even start… Steph’s photos are AMAZING and she is truly an extraordinary photographer. This was the most stressful part of wedding planning for me, as I am so picky and my (now) husband and I are not very photogenic, so finding someone who could make us look great and take great photos that would be “forever photos” was hard, but Steph did not disappoint one bit! So many different vendors are involved in a wedding. Of all the various vendors I worked with for our wedding, Stephanie and Charles were, by far, the very best and my favorites to work with. I researched quite a few photographers/videographers and, without a doubt, the Axtells had the absolute highest quality of work for the most affordable price. You will not find a more affordable, more talented duo than the Axtells. Both of them were so flexible, professional, timely, made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and took the time to learn about us and our personalities to ensure that they were able to capture US. Stephanie was the best photographer ever!! I was able to see her work through my brother's wedding the year before mine and both times were incredible!
