We had our daughters wedding reception here in May. It could not have gone any better. The owner, Jody, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She flawlessly executed everything we asked of her and was very flexible with any last minute changes. The venue was beautiful, our guests could not stop complimenting the hall. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding. -

Pure perfection
We came to Carey Lake after six months of trying to plan ourselves and failing miserably. It was April and our wedding was in August and by some miracle Carey Lake had our date available. In two hours of conversation, Jody did what my fiance and I couldn't in six months, she solidly planned our wedding. She then helped us find the rest of the vendors we needed and walked us through how to get everything we would need prepared so that our wedding could go off without a hitch. Because of her it did. At least 10 people on my wedding day came running up to me to say that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. We cannot say thank you enough to Jody and everyone at Carey Lake who helped make our special day happen during such a crazy time and on such short notice!!! We are so grateful 🥲 -

Jody and her hubby take pride in this beautiful lake front venue. Crystal lights that are modern. A lighted curtain wall, bar , piano, fireplace, bridal room. Clean, affordable and the food is very tasty as well. They even decorated the purgola with lights. A huge gazebo to have an outdoor ceremony and it holds 500 ppl. Our wedding day was magical at this venue. Don't pass this venue up. It looks so much better in person. Many places to take photographs on the property... The lake, greenery, fountain etc. Please ch this gem one on your list before choosing your venue. You will not be dissappointed! -

We met with Jody, She is outstanding, friendly and professional. The grounds are kept meticously, the ballroom is stunning and clean and the food smells so good... we did not have our tasting yet. They can accomidate a small affair to 500 ppl. The place has been renovated and it looks stunning. Jody was most attentive to our needs and willing to work with us to make our affair customed to our tastes. The proces are very reasonable. The lake is a perfect backdrop, there is a fountain and gazebo as well and a porch that holds over 100 ppl. I definately recommend The Ballroom at Carey Lake! -

User5814239 Sent on 08/21/2014Carey Lake is a beautiful venue, both indoors and out. The family run atmosphere is so laid back, while still being a beautiful venue for a more formal event.
