    A Beautiful Halloween Wedding

    Our daughter was married on Halloween at The Barn at Magnolia Farm. We were very happy with everything from the planning to the very end. They were very easy to work with and the venue was simply perfect! I would highly recommend!

    Just don’t get married on a really hot day

    This venue was absolutely perfect! It fit my rustic theme and all of my guest loved how beautiful everything turned out to be. The one and only downside was there wasn’t AC in the Barn just giant fans which would’ve been fine if I didn’t get married on the record breaking heat day in October. But it wasn’t anything anyone could control so I still rate them 10/10 I loved my wedding and they made it possible for me to have the wedding of my dreams.

    The Barn at Magnolia Farm is a beautiful venue that is a perfect balance between comfort and style. It is perfectly affordable, clean and provides all aminities needed to make an amazing wedding and a happy bride!! I will recommend this barn to anyone looking for a perfect quaint barn for their next event.

    Amazing and beautiful venue !!

    This barn venue was absolutely perfect !!! Linda & Kimberly Was so helpful and always answered Their phones when ever I needed them! That is highly important to a bride! One of my favorite parts of this venue was it had a beautiful cabin for the bride to get ready in ! There was also so many amazing spots for photos ! Every time I drive past the venue (which I live 5 mins down the road ) they have added so many new beautiful amazing improvements that I tell my husband oh why didn’t they have that when we got married lol . You also have the option of using their decorations! Which is what I did! They had a lot of beautiful decorations to pick from ! Check them out you won’t be disappointed!

    I can not say enough wonderful things about this venue!! I’m not kidding, I changed everything around more than once and they rolled with the punches and made my day absolutely everything I ever dreamed it would be. Every time I changed my mind, I texted Kim and she was so sweet and helpful. Every time I got stressed or overwhelmed, I texted Kim and she was on top of it, ironing out all my issues. They did everything from helping me figure out the order of our rather long, confusing procession to calling and finalizing the vendors, helping my mom and maid of honor bustle my dress, wiping my tears. They do it all. They are absolutely incredible!!! And y’all.... they have a CLEAN AIR CONDITIONED BATHROOM!!!!! If you have been looking for a rustic/ barn wedding venue for long you know that is a huge deal!!! They provide all the chairs, tables, linens, center pieces, decorations, fans, heaters, ceremony area, reception area, bridal suite, coordinators,etc. If I had it to do over again, I would do the same thing! I am forever grateful for The Barn at Magnolia Farm. Thank you for everything you did for me??????

    When I got engaged in June we knew we didn't want to wait long so we set our date for October and began looking for venues. We (I) wanted a barn with outdoor space for the ceremony so we went to horse barns with horses (and feces) still in them, we met with coordinators who were not nice or accommodating, and where told what vendors we had to use right down to our photographer and florists. After a few I was very discouraged and the clock was ticking. I had nearly lost hope and then I found The Barn at Magnolia Farm. It was perfect, I could see my Pinterest dreams coming true. I didn't think it could get any better and then I met Linda and Kim. They are the procrastinating/indecisive brides fairy godmother coordinators. They sent me checklists and seating plans and they even provided centerpieces so I didn't have to go buy 30 lanterns I'd never use again. They let me choose all my vendors and had great suggestions for things when I couldn't make up my mind. They took care of everything! I can't imagine that there is a better place to get married than The Barn at Magnolia Farm!!!

    When I started looking for barn venues I found out quickly how popular they were and I didn't plan my wedding 2 years in advance so looking I got a lot of rude laughs from venues telling me to try again next year. When I contacted The Barn at Magnolia Farms they were so nice so helpful they gave me all the dates available and my month and offered to give me a tour of the venue. I picked the package I wanted and could not have been more pleased with how helpful of responsive I love all their suggestions and their eagerness to help get my day perfect. I had a wonderful stress-free wedding day and I really think it's because of all their help that it was pulled off and I will forever be appreciative. Even my husband at the wedding and told them he didn't think they could pull it off but it was perfect and he was happy to be wrong and he loved it.

    We were thrilled to find this venue and were especially pleased with Kim and Linda. They were extremely easy to work with and provided their knowledge and expertise in planning and implementing our daughter and son in laws wedding. I would highly recommend The Barn at Magnolia Farm and the services of the wedding planners.

    Rustic Wedding

    This barn is cute and has a lot of decorations already included which was nice! Linda was a sweet person to work with but I do think there could of been something's that could of been improved. She does try her hardest to make your day how you want it and offers a few different packages for her brides as well. One thing I wish she would of done and could possibly do for future brides was in her biggest package she would do everything and it includes linens and everything, but you only get the linens if you get the biggest package. Would be nice to have that option to rent them if you wanted, without having to get all the extra stuff in the biggest package if you didn't want all of that! There were something's that we were told she would have done and in by time of the wedding, which it was but we had to keep asking to make sure we could do what we had planned. Tons of beautiful places to take pictures which made for good wedding pictures. Awesome place for a rustic wedding theme and she has a lot of decorations that we would of had to buy that she already had which included, burbon barrels, hanging doors, couple choices on arch ways, center pieces, wall art, rustic ladder, lights already hung on the inside of the venue, different styles of chairs for the head table, and so much more! That alone was a weight lifted off of our shoulders when figuring out how to decorate. She added new parking area which was nice, and she quotes it would hold up to 150 people guest in the barn and enough parking to accommodate that many guest. I do think the number of guest to fit comfortably could go down some, only because we had around 85-100 people show up and there wasn't enough room for everyone to park they had to park around the gravel road beside the venue and on the inside things were a little tight and close. She had told us that the fan at the top of the barn would draw a lot of the heat out for it shouldn't get over 70 or so inside the barn, but in our case it was a very hot day and I do wish there was more options to cool the inside of the barn off. We had the big fan up top pulling heat out and then two big fans at each of the barn pushing air through! A lot of our guest left right after the ceremony because it was too hot and there wasn't a good way to cool off. We provided them with hand fans, neck wraps you dip in cool water and plenty to drink. It was nice having the kitchen area for the catering and prep of food! One thing I would highly recommend for Linda is to add on two rooms somewhere on the property as a groom and bride suit for each of them to get fully ready with their bridal parties and not worry about getting ready somewhere else and traveling to the venue once ready. It would be so much more convenient for the bride and groom to have that access to get ready on site in separate rooms. Over all we had a great wedding even though it was hot, we had each other and our families to share it with. Thank you again for letting us have our wedding here, and working with us to make our vision come true and I would recommend this venue but I do think the quantity of guest to fit there should be lower than quoted unless you do tents and stuff outside the barn for extra seating or the patio outside then I wouldn't see an issue with seating other than parking room for everyone. She was nice and helped as much as she could. Thank you again.

    Terrible! No attempt was made to alleviate the intense heat.

    The temperature the day of the wedding was 95. The indoor ceremony was ruined for everyone because of the intense heat. We had been told the ac was out. There was only ONE fan for the entire wedding. Older guest were urged to leave due to extreme indoor and outdoor conditions. No dancing, guest and DJs were sweating profusely. ONE small floor fan.

Could you please provide the last names of the couple who’s wedding this was? We have recently had calls and notifications for a venue with a similar name in another state, so we definitely want to make sure that we can reach out and speak to the couple about this issue.

    The barn at magnolia farm is a beautiful location but the owner/ coordinator Linda made it a terrible venue for our wedding. Not only was she unhelpful for the preparation of our big day but she was also very rude to our guests during the reception. My ceremony was outside at 6 pm and the reception was inside the barn following. We rented the venue until noon the next day and even paid for an extra cleaning fee so we could enjoy our day without having to worry about cleaning the venue that night. Around 9:30 the night of our wedding while trying to dance and have a good time she started asking our guests to clean the tables and started taking down our decorations. We had just had the ceremony and again we paid until the next day so there was no need for her to decide pack up the wedding at that time. Because of this guest felt they were suppose to be leaving and it ended with us having to get all of our decorations and clean the venue ourselves that night. She also threw out the flowers we had bought for the tables which we intended to keep. Over all we were very disappointed with how the situation went and DO NOT recommend using this venue. If you look at the location it is beautiful but her ruining our special day wasn’t worth the location or the price.

    We are very sorry that you are so unhappy with your wedding day. We are a family run business and we strive to make every couples day their dream day. We understand that a lot of the frustration came from the unexpected changes made because of all of the rain and it certainly threw off our timing and caused guests to not stay.

    The Reception started 1 hr. early at 6:00 pm because no photos could be taken in the rain. All wedding activities were done by 8:30. We include the take down so at 9:30 we took the centerpieces and runners (not linens) from the two empty tables getting them ready for the clients to take their items home. The only flowers thrown away were babies breath.

    There was confusion when the caterer left during toasts, when they texted that they would be there through the entire event. This is why we approached the guest who had helped the caterers prep and setup. She said she’d find out who would be handling bussing & packing away food that was still out for buffet. When that guest started putting away food there was confusion over who and what the cleaning team was responsible for. We had explained at the final meeting that the cleaning team comes in the next day to sweep/mop/vacuum etc and that the caterer is responsible for bussing tables at the event.
