    We are so happy we went with The Barns at Nappanee

    Jacyln was AMAZING with every single thing along the way. We had to change venues a few months before the wedding and she was nothing but helpful and kind. She responded to every question quickly and was so willing to help. The whole staff at The Barns made our day even better. We had so many compliments on the food that people said they wish they would have gotten seconds. We appreciate The Barns staff so much for everything they did for us! Our wedding ceremony was in the Garrett and our reception was in the main dining hall and it was BEAUTIFUL. I could not have imagined a better wedding. Jaclyn and Colleen made sure the day of was coordinated and there were no hitches along the way at all. If you are planning a wedding check out this location and meet with Jaclyn!

    Amish Acres was amazing! Truthfully we were a little skeptical about the Round Barn Theatre for the ceremony but it was gorgeous on the day of the wedding! And you CANNOT go wrong with their food. Becky was our contact person and she was such a blessing. She was there that day and stayed well into the evening and worked great with our other vendors. All of our guests commented on impressed they were with everything! A++

    Anyone looking for a rustic, country venue Amish Acres is the place to go! Beautiful decorations and atmosphere! Becky was our planner and she was great! She worked with our accommodations and was very flexible. The price was definitely affordable and worth every penny!

    I highly recommend Amish Acres for our next event! The staff worked with us to create an individualized menu for our wedding. We had 250 guests, who all had hot and wonderful meals that evening! The venu worked with our requests for specialized wine/beer, and was more than helpful to us in the planning stages for our wedding. We got married at Christmas time, and the hall was absolutely beautiful! We could not have asked for more!!!

    Absolutely fantastic service; recieved many compliments on the food, service, and reception hall. Worked with me on what I wanted, and were very receptive and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a decent, affordable, attractibe reception for their wedding.

    Amish Acres was a beautiful place for our wedding. Many people complimented us on the location and food- we did the family style menu. Becky, the coordinator for Amish Acres was, for the most part, easy to work with. I would recommend double checking your final charges though to make sure nothing was left out. I had coordinated with Becky to have Amish Acres clean up our decorations- they have a strict deadline of 11:30 pm that everything must be cleaned out. When the wedding reception ended at 11 pm I was informed by the staff that the cleanup was not added to our services and that without that they couldn't (or wouldn't) take down the decorations. My wedding guests had to help me frantically clean everything up to avoid steep charges (per hour) for leaving the decorations overnight. I checked the next day and the cleanup was not on the invoice- had I checked that more carefully the day before I may have avoided the headache. Becky was also suppose to work with my Maid of Honor to get a projector and screen for her speech- this was a surprise for me. Though my MOH thought this was set up via email/phone, there was no projector/screen ready to go and speeches had to be delayed by about an hour while Amish Acres tried to fix the issue. All in all, Amish Acres was a great venue, but remember that sometimes you need to "nag" to make sure the vendor remembers to do everything agreed upon.

    Everything went smoothly leading up to the wedding day. Becky was amazing at keeping in contact and answering our questions. The biggest issue we ran in with was that our DJ was told he was "too loud" and their were other guest complaining. Being as we had paid several thousand dollars to enjoy the day, I feel that our DJ shouldn't have been lectured and that other guests should have been informed of the wedding that was happening.

    We got married and had our reception at Amish Acres. It was all very beautiful but I am not sure I would use them again. You pay a $500 fee for the "wedding coordinator" who really does not do much. Mine basically was there, she didnt help with anything, oh wait, she did get a pair of scissor when we needed something. I was rather disappointed in that. I was also kind of upset with the fact that they made me feel I had to have everything out of the venue by 11 the next more "or else". I was cleanin my reception site before it was even over because I didn't want them harassing me over it.

    They had great food and the place was decorated so nice , but dinner service was a night mare we were rushed thru dinner ,we needed extra places set up and they were very disorganized, they weren't sure as to what was going.I had payed $500.00 for their wedding cordinator whom did absolutley nothing , she wasn't even there for the reception. When we came in to decorate and disscuss last minute details the day before the wedding ,she was there but she was in her office with other people whom were thinking about getting married there, so i payed 500.00 dollars for a wedding cordinator that didn't cordinate anything, it was all caos.

    AMISH ACRES WAS THE PERFECT BARN VENUE. IT IS OLD, RUSTIC AND BEAUTIFUL. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND THE SERVERS THAT DAY WERE FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO HELP. BUT LET ME TELL YOU THE BAD. WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT WHEN WE WERE FIRST LOOKING AT THE VENUE AND WE ENDED UP WALKING AROUND AND RINGING A DOORBELL CONSTANTLY BECAUSE NO ONE WAS TO BE FOUND. AND WHEN WE WERE BEING SHOWN THE VENUE, BECKY WAS USELESS ABOUT SELLING THE PLACE. VERY MONOTONE AND NON INTERESTED. SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS MORE BOTHERED THAT SHE HAD TO SHOW ANOTHER COUPLE THE PLACE. BECKY:GOOD LUCK GETTING A HOLD OF HER. SHE ALSO SAID WE COULD USE AN IPAD FOR THE SLIDESHOW, COME THE WEDDING DAY, IT WASNT EVEN A POSSIBILITY. IF IT WASNT FOR THE 2 MEN WORKING IN THE OFFICE THAT DROVE AN HOUR AWAY FOR THE CORRECT CORD, IT WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED. BECKY HAD LIMITED CONTACT THROUGHOUT THE FEW MONTHS LEADING UP TO THE WEDDING. SHE WAS ALSO NO WHERE TO BE FOUND ON OUR WEDDING DAY AND WE WERE PLACED WITH ANOTHER YOUNG LADY WHICH EVEN AFTER REHEARSAL, ON THE WEDDING DAY, SENT THE GROOM AND OFFICIANT ON STAGE TOO SOON. AND THEN PER MY FATHER AND BROTHER WAS TICKED OFF AT ME, THE BRIDE, BECAUSE THE BRIDAL PARTY WAS RUNNING LATE TO THE CEREMONY. THIS PLACE WAS PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND SHES MAD AT ME AND MY PARTY FOR RUNNING LATE, AFTER MESSING UP AND SENDING THE GROOM AND OFFICIANT? THE TIMES FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION ARE RIDICULOUS. THE CEREMONY IS AT 530, AND YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ASSESS TO THE ROUND BARN AT 5. SO THAT IS A 1/2 HOUR TO DECORATE. AS FOR THE RECEPTION, IT MUST END BY 11 AND EVERYTHING MUST BE CLEARED OUT OF THE HALL BY 1130, OR ELSE YOU GET CHARGED. EVEN BEFORE THE RECEPTION WAS OVER MY FAMILY AND BRIDAL PARTY STARTED TO CLEAN SO WE WOULDN'T GET CHARGED. WE WANTED OUR WEDDING AT A VENUE SO OUR PARENTS AND FRIENDS COULD ENJOY THEMSELVES AND INSTEAD THEY WERE CLEANING. ONE OF OUR GROOMSMEN FORGOT THE CEREMONY DECORATIONS AND AFTER TRYING TO CALL AND EMAIL BECKY, I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF THE MAN IN THE OFFICE

    Everything turned out great, though it had NOTHING to do with the staff or coordinator. Even though we paid the 500.00 and was told that we would have the whole place, they lied to us. There was another party there plus the public all in the same building. There was even construction going on! The coordinator was not a nice lady. We felt very lied to and manipulated. She kept changing the "rules" so we would spend more money. I never want to go there again.
