The venue that has it ALL

We fell in love with this venue before we even stepped foot on the property. The charming colonial facade of the buildings welcomes you inside. The stunning architecture of the great hall, meticulously landscaped gardens, and boho chic vibe of the Edison bulbs over the lawn comprise the perfect backdrop for a memorable ceremony and gorgeous pictures. Not to mention the food!! Wedding food usually isn’t very memorable, or if it is, it’s for the wrong reasons. The food was remarkable! Everyone raved about it for weeks. They are also so great about accommodating food allergies, which was great for several of our guests.

Not to mention the food!! Wedding food usually isn’t very memorable, or if it is, it’s for the wrong reasons. The food was remarkable! Everyone raved about it for weeks. They are also so great about accommodating food allergies, which was great for several of our guests.

The facilities were absolutely incredible. We were blown away by the service and care provided in the Grand. We received complimentary champagne upon check-in, polite and efficient service from the bellhop, and a complimentary room move of our belongings on the day of our wedding to the Inn. The modern yet cozy feel of the grand suites was absolutely amazing. We almost didn’t want to leave for the inn! The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. Once we moved over to the Inn, we appreciated the charming, antique touches throughout the room. The facilities were incredible–we loved the extra bathroom and plenty of space to spread out and also relax in between photos. The balconies make for great photo shoots and the walk in closet was greatly appreciated! We even received a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate cake! Worth every penny!!

What was most memorable for us at BVI were the staff. From the moment we began planning our wedding with Olivia to the day of coordination with Brittany and even our personal attendant Griffin, we were completely blown away with the professionalism, graciousness, accommodation, and flexibility of every single person we came in contact with. Everyone worked so diligently to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect and it was!! The staff work so well together, like an oiled machine. Though it looked like it was going to rain, Brittany had her staff set up chairs outside and we were able to have our ceremony outside just in time to miss a passing shower. She had her phone opened to the weather radar for an hour to make our ceremony just as we had planned. Brittany was also incredible during the wedding, attending to anything we needed. Griffin, our personal attendant, was charming and funny. We so appreciated him! Leading up to our wedding, we had a lot of last minute guest list changes and Olivia was so flexible in providing us several solutions. Her affirmations, assurances, and optimistic demeanor were everything a couple needs leading up to their wedding. We can’t say enough good things about everyone who works at Bedford Village inn!

Do not think twice about booking your wedding at BVI! It is worth every penny!!

Dream Winter Wedding

My husband and I, along with our guests, cannot say enough great things about the BVI! This place holds a special place in our hearts as we’ve been frequent guests of the Christmas Eve dinner, so when it came to choosing a venue for our wedding, the BVI was already high on our list. Allyson was amazing handling all our hotel questions and concerns quickly and with care, and the rooms are incredible! Nikol was stellar! She made sure my husband and I had everything we needed-food, a drink, a dress fix…you name it, she was there! And Gillian was wonderful for making sure that everything was squared away, and we didn’t have to think about a thing with the end of the night process! Beautiful venue!

We got married in the Charolais Room at The Grand. This place is magical. We could not be happier with it as our wedding venue. It was beautiful. The hotel is gorgeous, our suite was incredible and the perfect place to get ready. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The staff are INCREDIBLE. Our coordinator, Olivia, is the best. The best decision ever!

BVI was the best decision we had made for our wedding. They were fantastic. Every detail was thought of on BVI's side. They were fantastic to our family. Our family and friends said it was some of the best food they had and the best hotel stay for a wedding they have had. The food was delicious including the appetizers. The coordinator, Madison, is the BEST to work with. She really guides you and helps you. I couldn't have done it without her. The two day of coordinators, Paige & Nicole, were also amazing. We also had rehearsal dinner in the Overlook room. They did a fantastic job. Food was great!! I could write a book on how awesome BVI and their employees are. Don't hesitate to book here! You

The absolute best decision for our venue!

Bedford Village Inn (BVI) exceeded all expectations for every element of our wedding, and this is not hyperbole. We thought the pricing would be out of reach for us and almost didn’t even get a quote, boy are we glad we did because for our small wedding, they actually had the BEST price of the dozens of venues we had reached out to in New England.

We wanted a venue that could host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as provide overnight accommodations for our mostly out of town guests. Additional criteria were that the food had to be top notch, and we were looking for an easy, but elevated aesthetic. BVI met all of these...

We thought the pricing would be out of reach for us and almost didn’t even get a quote, boy are we glad we did because for our small wedding, they actually had the BEST price of the dozens of venues we had reached out to in New England.

We wanted a venue that could host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as provide overnight accommodations for our mostly out of town guests. Additional criteria were that the food had to be top notch, and we were looking for an easy, but elevated aesthetic. BVI met all of these requirements and then some.

Since our total guest count was less than 40, we were in the Charlois Room at the Grand and it was the PERFECT size for our small wedding. It never felt awkwardly too big, nor cramped, and we got to have the traditional wedding experience we were looking for with a full reception and cocktail hour.

As if all of the above weren’t enough, what really makes the BVI experience outstanding is the incredibly amazing, kind, attentive, and welcoming staff. When we met with our coordinator we knew we were in good hands, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. The entire planning experience was so special and easy with everyone we worked with. A special shout out to Madison M. for being so supportive, responsive, and sweet! Madison was an absolute pleasure to work with! Many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with both the service and the food. One waitress was dancing with the kids in attendance at the wedding, keeping them entertained and giving their parents a break.

BVI will now always hold a special place in our hearts, they made our wedding dreams come true! It was a perfect day at the perfect venue and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

Overall great place

Had our wedding here on a Monday. The venue was amazing and staff great. Everyone was very friendly and assisted when needed. They made sure everything was setup for the ceremony and dinner. At the after dinner the wait staff was great. Both Ashley and Jacob were extremely outgoing and helpful. Jacob especially was friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. He acted more as a friend than just a server. Overall experience was great and will definitely recommend and return for dinners.

I couldn't imagine my wedding anywhere else

We exchanged tons of emails back and forth in the year and a half that we planned our wedding at Bedford Village Inn. Bedford Village Inn checked all of the boxes for us. An all-inclusive venue was a requirement for us, and Bedford Village Inn has it all: beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms for guests to stay on site, delicious food (one of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had), and they were able to accommodate ALL of our wedding events on site. On the day of, our Event Manager and Bridal Attendants handled the flow of events, communicated with all of our vendors, and made sure that me and the groom, our parents, and our wedding party were well fed and provided for with refreshments.

Bedford Village Inn also offers decorations that you can rent, like drapes, candles, and table numbers. We didn’t need to bring anything to the venue besides our wedding outfits and guestbook. This venue truly took the stress out of wedding planning. We were so taken care of and Molly made us feel like our wedding was the most important event in the world. When I was flustered before the ceremony, I handed her the rest of our tip envelopes and she made sure to distribute them to our vendors. Right before the ceremony on a scorching summer day, Molly used her own shirt to dab my sweaty face before I walked down the aisle. I cannot say enough positive things about Molly and Bedford Village Inn; we look forward to returning for our anniversaries!

Unfortunate Incident

My husband and I were recently married over Memorial Day Weekend. For the most part it was a lovely experience, however we had one very unfortunate incident that ruined everyone in the wedding party and our family’s morning, and is the reason for the low review. It was completely avoidable and should’ve been rectified by staff faster than it was.

The hotel moves guests &their belongings from their Grand hotel to the Inn the day before their wedding. During this process my veil was misplaced by housekeeping. It took hours on the morning of my wedding to figure out what had happened and my morning was unnecessarily chaotic. Because the room move happened the day before my...

My husband and I were recently married over Memorial Day Weekend. It was completely avoidable and should’ve been rectified by staff faster than it was.

The hotel moves guests &their belongings from their Grand hotel to the Inn the day before their wedding. During this process my veil was misplaced by housekeeping. It took hours on the morning of my wedding to figure out what had happened and my morning was unnecessarily chaotic. Because the room move happened the day before my wedding, this problem was avoidable. My veil had my name and information clearly attached to the duster. It should have been noted by hotel staff upon check in that my husband and I were the bride and groom. It is not a large hotel and this kind of lack of attention to detail is unacceptable.

On the morning of your wedding there is only so much time in the day and it was unsatisfactory how the staff handled the situation. They were not helpful with accelerating the search until my coordinator came in around 9ish. At that point, it had already been over 2 hours of high emotion and chaos trying to understand what happened during the move. Then, “all of a sudden” around 11am, my veil appeared & was in lost and found. I still to this day do not understand why lost and found wasn’t immediately checked by their staff, but it wasn’t.

The hotel moves your ‘tagged’ belongings from one room to another on their property, but I am not sure what their policy is for untagged items. It should’ve been brought to housekeeping’s attention that the room was occupied by a bride and groom & one would think they’d pay closer attention to something that may have accidentally not been ‘tagged’ and left behind.

After the incident my husband and I contacted the General Manager Tom and Director of Lodging Candace to discuss the matter, they are two of the most unprofessional individuals I have dealt with. They made comments like “it was only a few hours,” which was insensitive to the fact that they day goes by in the blink of an eye. They lack any common sense or basic customer service on how to deal with people. They did not care about what had happened.

Other than Olivia the wedding coordinator, no one at the hotel seemed to have urgency to want to help resolve the matter of my veil on the morning of my wedding. Candace and Tom take no responsibility for the chaos that ensued that morning, even though it was their staff, and Candace continued to remind me that it was only a ‘few hours.’ However, your wedding morning is only a few hours..

I wouldn’t recommend this venue.

Gorgeous venue, amazing food

The Bedford Village Inn was even better than I could have imagined in so many ways. I can't say enough how gorgeous this venue was for our January wedding, or how much we loved our planner, Molly. Months later and people are still talking about what a beautiful venue it was and how delicious all the food was. Molly was super responsive and made us feel so taken care of. She had brilliant suggestions from the bakery we ended up using for our cake (honestly, the best cake I have ever had) and the string trio we hired for our on-site ceremony, to the more intricate details like our day of timeline and arranging our first look. We had the most amazing wedding experience because of Olivia S. and the Bedford Village Inn team. We chose BVI as the venue for our March wedding and it couldn't have been more magical. Olivia thought of every detail and was an absolute angel to work with. Gillian and the team members who were present during the reception anticipated our every need and were so thoughtful. Having our wedding at BVI was everything my husband and I dreamed of and more! Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Olivia made the entire process so enjoyable. Wonderful, elegant, affordable venue!

We used the Bedford Village Inn for a special surprise birthday party for my wife. Working with Madison couldn't have been better. She was so helpful in planning the menu, organizing the staff, and was in constant communication. The food was delicious, the staff extremely proficient, and the price was remarkably affordable. Thank you Madison and everyone at the Bedford Village Inn!

Bridal Shower location

We hosted my Bridal Shower here in the “Overlook Room” in August 2021. We were so incredibly happy with the entire experience from start to finish. The event coordinator, Olivia, was extremely valuable and made the planning process very easy! BVI staff member Jennifer was also extremely helpful on the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly. We hosted a brunch for our guests, and the breakfast buffet was incredible! We even added an omelet station on, and our guests loved it! The wait and bar staff were very attentive, and the cupcakes that we had for dessert were out of this world! It was the perfect space for our number of guests, and the general atmosphere is so...

Stunning wedding venue

We got married at the Bedford Village Inn this past fall, and it was an absolute dream! Melissa and the entire staff were extremely professional and accommodating, and helped us with everything we asked for, from vendor recommendations, to helping us coordinate last-minute guest shuttles.
The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the reason we chose this venue over all the others we visited was the food! The food for our wedding was really delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and can't recommend them highly enough.

Perfect Venue!

With Coronavirus forcing us to change our wedding date, we also had to change venues and I am so glad we did! The Bedford Village Inn was perfect in every way. From the initial planning meeting through the night of the wedding, they made everything so easy! Brianna, our coordinator, was extremely helpful and everything came together just as we had envisioned. The whole staff the night of the wedding was amazing and I received so many compliments on both the venue and the people who worked so hard throughout the night to make it perfect for us and our guests. If you are looking for a beautiful location and seemless planning process I highly recommend the Bedford Village Inn!

Our 11-07-2020 Awesome Wedding

My wife Judy and I could not have picked a more spectacular, heartwarming, professional and fantastic venue than the Bedford Village Inn for our wedding. We definitely plan to go back and celebrate our wedding anniversaries.

Perfection

We found this venue when we had to change ours due to covid. It was the best covid related issue we could have had because everything was AMAZING! From the day we met Olivia (the wedding planner) to the minute we left after our big weekend, everything was beautiful, perfect and delicious. I can't say enough about the BVI! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing Venue

The venue was perfect, the outside was beautiful and the food was amazing. It was everything we could have hoped for. We switched from MA to NH last minute and Melissa helped us through everything. I highly recommend BVI

Our Perfect Fall Wedding

We can't say enough about the incredible staff at The BVI. They were not only accommodating, but also extremely patient during these difficult times. A lot of changes had to be made as our year of planning went on and they were so helpful. Every detail of our wedding was taken care of. We are so grateful!

Getting married in 2020 was full of twists and turns, and when faced with stricter guidelines in MA my husband and I decided to relocate to NH.
