If there is one thing you do for your wedding…it should be hiring The Best Day Details. We had Megan Terpstra as our day-of coordinator, and I’m SO GRATEFUL. I cannot imagine what it would have been like without her there. The Best Day Details’ planning software was super easy and helpful, and Megan really helped us nail down our timeline and make sure every vendor knew where they needed to be and when. Megan helped our wedding rehearsal run smoothly, picked up our lunches and dropped them off to both wedding parties on the wedding day, picked up our decor, set up the venue, tore down the venue, and so much more. She made me feel like I was the guest of honor at my wedding, rather than a host running around worrying about everything being perfect. You are literally paying for peace of mind that your wedding day will go just as you hoped, and it’s SO worth the investment. Also, we added on the photo booth like a week before our wedding and all our guests had so much fun with it! Soooo happy with everything TBDD had to offer! -

I can't express how grateful I am for Elysia at The Best Day Details that helped prepare and execute my wedding to perfection! I knew I could put in the work and do the research and find and book the vendors I wanted, but I NEEDED a day of coordinator to help with details such as timeline, ceremony rehearsal and actual running, set up, tear down, and so much more I probably didn't see the day of my wedding. Our meetings leading up to the wedding day answered any and all questions I had and even called out details I would have never thought of on my own. The professionalism, expertise, and genuine care and excitement Elysia had for us was truly special. I didn't think it was possible, but I had no worries the day of my wedding as I was getting ready. I knew she could handle anything that came up, but luckily we worked well together to be prepared as much as possible ahead of time. Some extra special details her and her assistant handled: moving a large flower piece from my ceremony arch to a mantle in the reception space, hanging letters I brought onto a flower wall, coordinating a flawless "photo dash" after dinner, and handing off important items like the wedding cards and marriage license to my mom at the end of the night. I am so so so happy with Elysia's work and The Best Day Details business - I couldn't recommend enough! THANK YOU! -

Our perfect wedding!
Elysia with the Best Day Details was A DREAM!!! I could not have imagined a more attentive, detailed, and focused coordinator driving our wedding day. Every step of the way she made sure we were thinking of details both big and small. When it came down to it, Elysia executed every single aspect to PERFECTION! We were blown away walking into our wedding and reception. She was there every step of the way waiting with a warm drink in her hand. We felt so taken care of. 100000/10 experience. Kelli and her assistant, Olivia, with The Best Day Details was awesome! She was attentive to details I had not even thought about. Our wedding day went according to plan… as far as I knew anyway! If something went awry, I had no idea until afterwards. She kept everyone and everything on track and I didn’t have to worry about anything on our special day. -

Emily is amazing! I am so happy that I chose to have a day or coordinator and I was lucky enough to have Emily (& her hubby Josh) as my coordinator for the day! I originally debated between a full on wedding coordinator and a day of coordinator but decided I could handle most of the planning myself and just wanted assistance making sure I didn't miss something and someone to run the day itself so my wedding party and friends/family didn't have to.
I'd say hands down having Emily there was the best decision I made in planning the wedding. I was able to relinquish any day of decision and tasks to her and Josh which was such a weight off my shoulders.
Things like getting more batteries, bringing us lunch, keeping the party on track for the wedding processional, setting up, tearing down, packing the car, fixing my dress, and I'm sure many other things I don't even know about were all done by the two of them.
Emily is so nice and supportive and I can't imagine how the day would have gone without her.

Hiring The Best Day Details for our wedding in May 2022 in Ann Arbor, MI was the best decision we made for our wedding! We worked with Emily and we met with her multiple times leading up to the wedding. She was so organized and helped us make sure everything was ready to go for the wedding day. They think of everything, which really helped us during preparation leading up to the wedding.
Emily and her assistant, Shaely, were there on our wedding day - they setup all decorations and handled every little detail of the wedding day. Emily communicated with all other vendors for arrival times, disbursement of tips and thank you cards, parking, and any questions anyone had about the day. This allowed me and my husband to completely enjoy our day without any stress. We simply just showed up and it was all done and BEAUTIFUL. Emily has such a calm demeanor, which was extremely helpful to have around on the day of the wedding. They took care of setup and cleanup of everything! They do SO much more than just showing up to help coordinate on the day of the wedding - this is a really amazing company and you can tell they care a lot about the people they work with. Highly recommend! -

The best piece of advice I would give any bride/bride to be is to invest in a day of coordinator! I love the package that The Best Day offers because it is all inclusive, there are no tiers of what they will and wont do - they do it all (they even picked up our pups and brought them for pics)! I had Molly as my coordinator and she blew me away with her professionalism, calm demeanor, problem solving skills, and overall positive & relatable personality! I enjoyed meeting with her a couple times before my wedding to go over every single detail to ensure we did not miss anything. On the day of her and Megan set everything up perfectly and ensured the whole day ran smoothly. I could not recommend The best Day or Molly more - SO happy I decided to work with this team. -

Emily and her team are simply THE BEST!!! I cannot recommend them highly enough. She had multiple meetings with us leading up to wedding to make sure we had every detail covered. Before meetings we would often feel stressed and behind about wedding planning and after we would meet with Emily we always left feeling SO relieved. Emily is very detail oriented and on-top of things! She handled so many small details, coordinated and communicated with all our vendors, handled last minute changes, and even smoothly handled a day-of catering issue. More than anything our friends and family so appreciated having Emily and her team there so that on our wedding day we could all relax and enjoy and have to stress, set up, clean up, or handle everything in between. Go hire the Best Day Details!!! -

I can not thank Shaye Beasley with The Best Day Ever enough. Communication was superb, details I never thought of were discussed, and she and her assistant made our day, The Best Day EVER! I highly recommend her and this company. As an older bride, I had no idea of the changes that have been made to weddings now. I was very stressed out. She made the day flawless and not worries at all. Again, Thank you for making it perfect !!!

Detail oriented and flexible!
Where do I even begin! The Best Day Details team lead, Molly Griffin, made every dream come true for my husband and I on our big day!! Coordinating every vendor we hired and executing every detail flawlessly, we could not have had a better experience with her and her team! We had a “small pandemic wedding” at a friends barn with approximately 80 people and it was perfect. Molly and I met over coffee each week prior (for about 8 weeks) to discuss details and our desires. We talked about napkin folds, ceremony coordination, floral arrangements, table decor and more! Transforming the four bare walls into an elegant dream wedding with white linens and gold lined plates, Molly assured me everything would be taken care of and she was right!! The barn had no running water, no heat and no restrooms. We hired an amazing catering team and deluxe plumbers disposal restrooms and Molly made sure we had access to heaters if need be! It was perfect!! On our big day, the bakery even forgot to make our small 6” wedding cake and Molly handled it without worry and the cake was made fresh and delivered to our venue with plenty of time to spare! The team included team lead, Molly Griffin and her interns, Claire and Mikaela. All of whom were so kind, attentive and a pleasure to work with! Their work ethic and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and I applaud all of them for their hard work and great attitudes throughout the day! The girls made sure our day ran smoothly with a stress free timeline and even assured the gentleman were ready at their location with boutonnières and ties straightened for the party bus pick up in the afternoon!! My husband and I would highly recommend Molly Griffin and The Best Day Details team to make all of your wedding dreams come true!!The Best Day Details's reply:

Back in the fall of 2019 we were well into wedding planning and knew we needed a day of coordinator so that our family and friends wouldn't have to worry about a thing. We didn't know who to go to, but luckily found Emily! Our initial coffee shop meeting was all I needed to know that her and her husband would be the perfect team to coordinate our day. In the many months to follow, our communication was fantastic and it was amazing how responsive, professional and easy it was to coordinate with Emily! Then covid hit and we made our back up plan, and Emily and her expanding team were so fantastic in offering options for us whether we went with our original or back up plan! Well we went with our back up plan which involved a much smaller wedding and we choose to wait on Emily and Molly's help until our rescheduled big renewal party in 2021. Now as we cancel our renewal unsure of what the next year will bring, Emily, Molly and the team have been so understanding and just fantastic to work with.
While we never got to have Emily, Molly and the team coordinate on our wedding day, they were just absolutely amazing to work with in their personalities, professionalism, care and understanding that they bring to their work. You know that the team cares as much about your wedding day as you do, and you will not regret working with them at all! I highly recommend working with The Best Day Details!! -

As my husband (eek!) and I reflect on our tiny Tuesday wedding, we both agree that one of the best decisions we made for our day was hiring The Best Day Details LLC for day of coordination. Emily is outstanding and, after my initial call with her, I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. During our subsequent calls, she helped us iron out the details and brought perspective that made our day even better. Emily is willing to do whatever she can to make the day go smoothly and she literally was moving and working so hard the entire day of our wedding (making sure we were hydrated, handing out tips, managing our playlist, you name it!). Her hard work did not go unnoticed and our guests also were so thankful for her.
If you’re on the edge about day of coordination, DO IT. We are over the moon grateful for Emily and her team and would do it 100 times over again.
