  We are so THANKFUL for the Blowout Co. in the Gulch! We booked the space for our bridal party to do hair and make-up the morning of the wedding. We scheduled a trial run for my mother and myself. My trial was nothing but wonderful and I left feeling happier than ever and more excited for the big day. Jenna made my hair look natural along with my make up. She didn't make me look like someone I was not.
  
  I will say that my mother's experience was not the same. I was excited to spend the day with mom and have her spoiled, but her hair stylist was not having the best day and you could tell. My mom left with hair looking worse than when she came in. We spoke with a manager the next day and they invited my mother back for another trial and did not disappoint. Their responsiveness to the issue and their ability to turn it around made me excited to see them again on the wedding day.
  
  Winter Storm Jonas decided to try and ruin our big day, but there was no way that would happen! Deidre, the general manager called and ensured me that they would be there that morning for our wedding day. This meant the world to us. In a time where many were cancelling on us, we knew that we had the Blowout Co. to help make our day special!
  
  Cannot say enough how much Deidre and her team went above and beyond to make us feel special on the wedding day. All of my girls left loving their hair and make up and feeling confident for their walk down the aisle. Thank you to Jenna for making me feel like a Bride and treating me like royalty!

  I had my wedding updo done by Natalie at the Gulch location of the Blowout Company. She did a trial run with me in the summer and took pictures, and when I went in on my wedding day she was ready and knew exactly what we'd planned. My wedding day hair looked even better than the trial run--it was loose and romantic while still being solidly in place. My hair withstood the whole day and even made it through the reception and lots of dancing! I loved my hair and loved working with Natalie!

  Hillary at the blowout co. is amazing. Her work on my hair and makeup the day of the wedding was even better than the trial. Everything turned out even better than I had hoped and lasted all day and night. Totally flawless. The rest of the ladies at the blowout co. did wonderful work on the bridal party as well. Everyone looked and felt beautiful. Looking forward to being back in Nashville again just so I can stop in for a blowout!

  70% what I was hoping for

  What a beautiful interior, and great prices for services!
  
  I came in on Wednesday to get a half updo for my elopement ceremony in 3 hours.
  
  Mekynzi greeted me and was so excited to be doing my wedding hair! She was an absolute gem to spend the afternoon with, chatting and seeing pictures of my dress and the location. Mekynzi is 100% the reason I want to make this a 5-star review.
  
  She looked at my reference photos (included in the review, but noted what was my hair), and did the wash and blowout and then referenced the photos during the style. She did an absolutely fantastic job on the back of the updo. I got so many compliments that evening.
  
  However, I should have gotten a wedding day trial, to confirm my style would hold... I did not have time, however, as this elopement was planned in really short notice...
  
  Before the appointment was over, I already had to have her re-curl my front whispies of hair because they had fallen flat. They ended up holding for about an hour, but fell flat and ended up looking stringy... My mistake not testing the hairstyle to see if the curls would hold, though.
  
  My only main complaint was that the appointment estimate was 55 minutes for an updo. However, we ran surprisingly late. It was closer to 100 minutes, and I rushed to my venue to get into my dress and get ready, and only had 15 minutes for my First Look photos before rushing to the ceremony site for the wedding.
  
  I absolutely loved my time with Mekynzi, but the timing really threw me off and had me rushing the rest of the evening...
  
  Would totally go back, though, just to hang with Mekynzi and maybe try a dry-style instead.
