The Bohlin was the most amazing wedding venue! We really wanted something unique, with incredible views, food, drinks, & service, and that is exactly what we got with The Bohlin. We have received so many compliments from our guests on all of the above. Lauren was our Day Of Coordinator & she was AMAZING - she was so professional, so responsive & made sure that we were stress-free for the entire experience. We are so so so happy with our decision & could not recommend The Bohlin more.

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Bohlin! Many of our guests commented that it was the best/most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. There was not a bite of food left on most of the dinner plates we saw, and everyone raved about the food. Their cocktail hour presentation was even adjusted to be more Covid-friendly and we felt very safe with their planning and preparation. The Bohlin staff were extremely professional, friendly, timely, and attentive, and everyone made sure my husband, our families, and I were taken care of with food, drink, and comfort throughout our event. We worked with Lauren to plan for our day, and she brought such a calm and professional presence to the planning process, and on our day she was an extremely attentive and helpful coordinator. Would recommend The Bohlin to everyone!!

We had our July 2022 wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself is breathtaking - with beautiful water views and a gorgeous tent and patio set up. The food was amazing from start to finish. So much care was put into the displays and there was plenty to go around for all our guests. We are still receiving comments from our guests about how this was the best wedding food they have ever had. All of the servers were so kind, polite and helpful! The bride and groom even get their own server to make sure they always have what they need. Our wedding coordinator, Caity, was so helpful throughout the planning process, it felt like we barely had to do any planning at all! We had so many guests compliment the flow of the wedding which she helped design and implement flawlessly. The whole thing was perfect!

The Bohlin was the perfect location to host our Newport oyster-themed coastal wedding! To be right next to the harbor, the boats, the sunset, the Newport bridge in the background, it was incredible. You are right in the heart of Newport! My now husband and I have vacationed in Newport for many years, and my family and I have been visiting this coastal town since I was a baby. It is our favorite place in the world. The Bohlin is the quintessential spot for that coastal vibe with casual class without being over the top stuffy and buttoned up as some other venues might give off. We had our wedding ceremony with the sailboats going by followed by our dockside cocktail hour with live music. It is so nice to have everything in one spot at the Bohlin, and the staff work hard to make the transitions between seamless for you and your guests.

Our guests are still raving about the location, flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, and they continue to compliment the efficiency and organization of the staff. We had a handful of guests with allergies and dietary restrictions. These guests said they have never been treated so well at any other wedding they have attended. The staff knew all of the allergies and all of the meal alterations needed for each guest. Food was brought out timely and efficiently and was absolutely delicious. From the cocktail hour passed hors d'oeuvres, to the overflowing raw bar, to the drinks, incredible entrees, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar, the Bohlin did not disappoint!

My husband and I thought the cost at the Bohlin was extremely reasonable as the venue takes care of all of the food, tables, linens, and most of the decor. We chose from the simplest decor/linen/glassware/flatware package in terms of price and the look of the tables and tent were stunning. The beauty of the Bohlin tent is its simplicity. It is really a blank canvas so you can tailor it to your specific style and look for your wedding day.

Our wedding day coordinator was reassigned a few months before the wedding which we were initially nervous about, but our new day of coordinator Lindsay Chapin blew it out of the water! She was absolutely incredible to work with and such a sweetheart. She was so responsive via email whenever we had the simplest question of clarification. We even scheduled a last minute in person meeting at the venue a few weeks prior to discuss layout and Covid matters, and Lindsay was always proactive and optimistic throughout it all. Obviously planning during Covid times was and still is challenging, but Lindsay and the Bohlin staff kept us up to date on all of the state and venue guidelines and restrictions on pretty much a weekly basis. The stars aligned for us in the end as the mask mandate and many other restrictions were lifted just days before the wedding! What an honor to host all of our friends and family as the world re-opened that week, and we are so thankful we chose the Bohlin to help us host all of them! Thank you to the Bohlin, to Lindsay, and to all of the hard working staff, from the bottom of our hearts for the most perfect wedding day! Book the Bohlin for your perfect Newport wedding! You won’t regret it!

I don't even know where to start on how wonderful our wedding at The Bohlin was. It was everything I could have imagined for the perfect Newport wedding. The views were unbeatable, the location was perfect, the food was great, AND THE STAFF!

I can't say it enough how amazing it was working with Lauren. My original venue cancelled on us 3 months out from our wedding and in a panic I had to book a new place. Luckily The Bohlin was available for the same date since I'd already booked all my other vendors. Lauren was so helpful and organized and had everything under control so I could relax. The day before the wedding, I thought we'd drop off all our decorations and such and have to spend some time setting up, but she shoo'd us away to go enjoy the night before our wedding and they took care of everything. It turned out beautiful! Everyone has said it was one of the best and most fun weddings they'd ever been to.

Our wedding at the Bohlin was absolutely incredible. We changed our venue to the Bohlin just months before our date due to COVID, and from day 1 it was a great experience. Maria was so helpful leading up to the day and was amazing the day of the wedding. She is so organized and handled all of the details to make sure our day was perfect. The venue was gorgeous, the food was great, and the service was top notch. We can’t recommend the Bohlin highly enough!!

The Bohlin has been amazing since day one when we picked them in June of 2019. When the pandemic hit in March, we were in constant communication with them since our wedding was two months away. The team constantly checked in on us to make sure we were ok. We worked with Jackie and she was absolutely amazing. We were able to reschedule the wedding for October 24th. It was a much smaller wedding then planned but all our guests said how safe they felt. It was an amazing night and I’d recommend this venue to everyone.

I can’t rave enough about how amazing it was to have our wedding at The Bohlin. If you are looking for a venue the encompasses all that Newport is this is your spot. You are right downtown and right on the water with the most beautiful Sperry tent- it’s truly spectacular. We had both our ceremony and wedding here and it was the best day our lives and I would not change one thing. Our wedding pictures are amazing because the views you get with this venue are on another level. We worked directly with Sara when planning our wedding and she was amazing. She is so organized and so much fun to work with! I was always so excited when we had meetings with her. She kept us organized and so excited during the whole planning process. We never had to worry about a thing day of- she was on site and taking care of everything and anything behind the scenes. She was so great during our rehearsal day as well, getting it done fast and productively. Sara was such a big part of our wedding being as perfect as it was and we can’t thank her enough for everything!

Also, all of my wedding guests are still raving about the food and saying its the best food they have ever had at any wedding!

I truly cannot say enough great things about The Bohlin. We had our absolute dream wedding there this past October, and the team at The Bohlin was amazing to work with, beginning to end. Sara was our event manager, and her patience, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible to work with! She made our dream wedding a reality, and really is the best in the business! Everything was absolutely perfect - the decorations/set-up, the food, the service, and everything in between! It also goes without saying that the location is to die for - right on the water at the Newport Yachting Center, which happens to be in the heart of downtown Newport! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. We will always cherish the memories made, and we give Sara and her team so much credit for making them happen. I could go on and on, but the point is that I really could not recommend any venue more highly!!!

We absolutely loved this venue. Affordable elegance in the Newport area. The staff were attentive to every detail and the food was fantastic. All of our guests had a great time and thought it was one of the most beautiful venues they have ever been to.

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Every detail was impeccably dealt with and the staff was first rate. Our planner at the Bohlin, Sara Leonard, was perfect and took care of every detail in advance right up until the ceremony. From there, the amazing staff took over and produced, according to many guests, "the best wedding they have ever attended". The food was amazing and the presentation and service equally perfect. I could not have wished more for our daughter and our new son in law.

The Bohlin was the perfect venue for our June wedding! When we first started the wedding planning process, we knew we wanted our venue to be in Newport and we wanted it to be as inclusive as possible so that we would not have to worry about hiring catering or rental vendors. As soon as we arrived for our site visit at the Bohlin, we knew it was the place for us and it did not disappoint.

Our wedding coordinator was Sara, and she was amazing throughout the whole process. She walked us through everything while we were planning, was incredibly responsible to any emails we sent to her (even for very small questions), coordinated with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day, and was extremely flexible and accommodating on the day of our wedding.

The venue staff was wonderful and created the perfect day for us. They provided excellent service throughout the night, and my husband and I had an attendant available to us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The venue itself was exactly what we were hoping for and provided a classy and fun environment for our guests to enjoy themselves. Our family and friends enjoyed using the outdoor patios throughout the evening, and the backdrop of the Bay and the boats provided a unique New England ambiance and a beautiful background for photos. Parking was convenient, the location was so accessible for our guests, and the cost of the venue was a great value for a Newport wedding in summer - especially with a coordinator provided. We are so happy with out choice to host our wedding at The Bohlin!

When my husband and I first got engaged, we knew we wanted to be in Newport. I am originally from MA and my husband is originally from CT. Newport was going to be absolutely the perfect place for our May wedding. When we first started looking the had just started the renovations on the venue. I walked onto the site and there was nothing there and I knew then that I wanted to be married there. I could never have imaged what the final product would look like. I was absolutely amazed at how beautifully stunning the venue looked when it was completed. My husband and I knew it was going to be beautiful just from the location, but the details that went into completing the venue make it the perfect location for any type of wedding.

Our wedding planner Sara, was absolutely positively 100% amazing. From the beginning she was right there helping us plan our day. She walked us through everything as we were planning, from the small to the big. She was very responsive to emails and helped me with all the questions I had (and there were a lot and some of them were the smallest silliest of things) She coordinated with our vendors, to make our wedding day smooth for everyone. She was such a pleasure to work with and made such a huge difference for us while we were planning our wedding.

When it came down to our wedding day everything was exactly as we had hoped for. The staff was amazing and so attentive of all of our guest. We decided to do stations instead of a sit down meal and it was by far one of the best choices. The food was phenomenal. We had 3 different stations - Pizza, Salad and a station that had a fish, a chicken and a meat (with sides). I am still getting compliments on the food that we had and how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding.

In all I don't think I could have asked for a better venue and staff for our wedding. I don't think I can thank you enough for all that you did to make our wedding day so special!

We booked the Newport Yachting Center back in May and I could not be happier. Ashlee has been a pleasure to work with. She provided in site on local vendors, hotels and a place for a rehearsal dinner. It is so refreshing to work with such a pleasant person during this hectic time! She has also let my Fiance and I come and view the venue when and actual wedding is set up which is so nice because I was able to plan how I wanted to start setting up on my wedding day.

The venue itself is beautiful. I love how it is tucked away from the downtown craziness but it is still so close to local bars, restaurants and hotels. I also love how the venue is so simple and beautiful. You can customize it however you would like. So refreshing compared to a basic banquet room with those ugly rugs ;). I fell in love with the outside patio that overlooks the water. I could go on and on but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your wedding at the Newport Yachting Center. You will NOT regret it :)

My husband and I are so happy we chose to have our wedding at The Bohlin! We truly wouldn't change a thing and have heard over and over from friends and family that our wedding was the most fun and beautiful they've ever been to. I could go on and on about each individual thing that was wonderful. We especially are thankful to have worked with Sara Leonard, she was incredible.

I recently had my wedding at the bohlin and it was more beautiful and perfect than I could have imagined. Sara was our event manager and was amazing throughout the whole planning process. She met with me to plan the entire wedding day from linens, china, meals, cake, decor, etc and was beyond helpful in making these important decisions. When the wedding weekend came, I had many details and items I wanted to provide and Sara was flexible to meet me and go through all my details. On our wedding day she made everything perfect and more beautiful than we could have dreamed. Our guests are still making comments after the wedding about how gorgeous the bohlin venue is from the beautiful sperry tent and views of Newport harbor to how delicious the food was and how amazing and accommodating the staff was. We can't thank Sara and the bohlin enough for our perfect wedding!

We knew this venue was for us the moment we saw it. The tent was even half taken down and it was pouring. Sara our event manager was the absolute best! From the details meeting to dealing with my daily emails asking questions she was so professional and helpful. She really made our dreams come true on the wedding day. We could not believe the transformation of the venue with the new ceremony site, pavers, tent, bathrooms, and amenities it had to offer. We were so beyond pleased with every single thing. We had so many detail items to be set-up and Sara set everything up more beautifully than we could have imagined. We do not have a single complaint about the process or wedding day, I wish we could enjoy that day again and again it was so perfect. We came in to the ceremony by boat and Sara was able to coordinate and change up our ceremony to accommodate all of our crazy ideas. Special thanks to the bar staff, marina staff, and set-up staff as well! Guests are still talking about how amazing and beautiful the wedding was. You're doing something wrong if you don't have your wedding here :)

This place was beautiful and so worth the money! They were full service, providing linens, chairs, tableware, food, drinks, cake, staff- no need to wiry about finding anything but you're dress and the music. The service provided by staff at the wedding was fantastic but the planning and prep was handled impeccably. They had a great selection of linens, plates and stemware.

We fell in love with our venue as soon as we saw it. My husband and I wanted to be on the water but not on the sand of the beach, and Newport Yachting Center met all our needs. Amanda Clapp is the sweetest most attentive person I have ever met. She made our wedding so smooth. She helped to bring our vintage romantic theme to life and made all my dreams of a perfect wedding come true. We are so thrilled how everything turned out that we want to do it all over again. I can not say enough good things about our venue and the professionalism of all the people we worked with during such an important time in our lives. We loved the Newport Yachting Center from the first time we saw it in the dead of winter! Our guests were able to wander around the docks while enjoying the incredible sunset and quintessential Newport views such as the bridge and harbor, as well as dance the night away inside the open tent! The venue personifies coastal elegance with fun mixed in - just the vibe we were going for! - while also being more economical the many of the venues we looked at in the area (but just as lovely in our book). The NYC provided excellent food and even created a special entree accompaniment just for us (the chef was so accommodating!) while also contracting us with other awesome vendors such as Scrumptions for our cake and Del's for the amazing lemonade stand (with passed signature cocktail!).

We were lucky to have beautiful weather on our day but would have had an amazing event no matter what due to the wonderful NYC staff. Amanda, the Events Manager, worked with us every step of the way, ensuring our every need was met and going above and beyond to do so. She is professional, prompt, and went out of her way to help us out - for example, she allowed us to do the drop off of our items needed on-site (i.e. guestbook, escort cards, favors) a day early and didn't blink an eye when we were running late. We also had a lot of DIY items, all of which she put together correctly and without much instruction from us - we couldn't have done it without her and were thrilled with the tent set-up upon our arrival!!

In addition to Amanda, who was with us every step of the way, we also have to give a special shout out to Jasmine, the personal attendant for the bridal party. We had a large party and every single one of them commented on how amazing and on top of things she was. She got everyone drinks and food, made a special appetizer for myself and my husband, made sure we got some cake, and even helped with my bustle. Jasmine is a total gem, and the NYC is lucky to have her!

The experience at the Newport Yachting Center began the day we visited it as a possible venue and lasted through the day after our wedding. The staff and service were impeccable, the setting is perfectly beautiful, the food outstanding and everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish!

We booked the Newport Yachting Center(NYC) without seeing it before. We were both residing out of state and chose NYC off of reviews and photos on the internet. Our first meeting we felt so comfortable with Adrienne and received all the details we would need to plan our wedding/reception. We were put in touch with Amanda who was our event coordinator. We could not have been happier. Amanda took care of every detail. As a bride, I felt totallly confident with Amanda and the entire staff at the NYC. The wait staff was very attentive, serving our head table and making sure we had anything we needed the entire night. The view at the NYC is by far the most beautiful of any venue. The food was excellent. We took them a picture of the cake we wanted and they were able to duplicate it exactly. We were told by multiple guests that our wedding was the best wedding that they had ever been too.

The Yachting Center was the absolute perfect place for us to have a wedding. We were lucky enough to have our wedding on a beautiful night and the patio complete with teak furniture just extended our reception area outdoors. We had a blast and the stuff was wonderful to work with - especially Adrienne and Amanda. I would recommend them to anyone!

Amanda and Adrienne were SO helpful and made everything so easy and seamless. Venue is absolutely gorgeous, we got so many comments on that from guests.

Having our wedding here was a wonderful experience. The wedding coordinators were very friendly and informative. They provided us with a quick breakdown of cost to meet our budget. Some things got lost in translation as the months passed but they were flexible to work with us. Maura, our initial consultant, was great and friendly. She gave us a vision of our wedding day and was flexible to meet us at any time for a tour. This was extremely helpful since we are not from Newport.
Sara, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful and very responsive. She always had a smile on her face and was willing to work with us. Wedding season can be very hectic for any wedding vendor, so she tried to get as much done as possible prior to May.
Weddings have the potential to be very costly and vendors tend to charge for every little thing. My advice to brides is to feel comfortable about voicing their concerns and what’s important for them to spend their money on. The Bohlin was very flexible with this and worked with me during the process.
The Bohlin offers a 3-course meal 'Date Night' at a sister restaurant instead of a complimentary formal tasting. We were not very thrilled with this. We were looking forward to tasting the food to be served at the wedding. We decided on the ‘Date Night’ hoping we could pick from the options at the restaurant menu. Unfortunately, this was not the case and the choices were limited and not everything listed on the 'special' menu was available. Bummer! but I gotta say that the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We were unsure on how the food at the wedding was gonna turn out, but we were confident that it was gonna be delicious. It wasn’t a disappointment. The Bohlin is also very conscious about allergies; they work with you to identify guests with dietary restrictions.
