  Whatever the weather, they are the best!

  The Catering Company is a top-notch catering service for any event in Winchester/surrounding areas. We have used them for corporate events and for two family weddings. The most recent event was our daughter’s wedding. Nick took his time with us and developed a menu based on some family recipes as well as some special seasonal dishes we had in mind. He was always friendly and relaxed (even with some last minute changes!!) while working hard to keep all the details running like clockwork behind the scenes. His staff was simply amazing. We had a “worst case” scenario during our outdoor reception with heavy rain, thunder and some lightning. They stayed calm and helped us to keep our event running safely (even as we took a needed pause and resumed our party when the weather cleared!) The staff continued to confidently work, calmly shifting our buffet to a weather protected area.
  They took care of all the cleanup and tear down (what a relief!!). Side note: I was also impressed with Nick’s care of his staff during the bad weather. Somehow he managed to provide excellent service to us and also take care of his staff when the weather took a turn for the worst.
  The food was incredible, just as we had hoped! Nick had even carefully trimmed our brisket so it was perfectly juicy, but not overly fatty. The beer can chicken was yummy!! So many guests commented on the crab dip and Mac
  and cheese. I loved his crunchy Cole
  Slaw and the nectarine salad with goat cheese drizzle was delicious. We loved having the addition of our family recipe, corn casserole (the bride’s favorite!) and sides of roasted potatoes too.
  Nick and his team also handled all of our linen rentals.
  They were prompt with returning emails and occasional texts.
  Truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel they were worth every
  penny and more! Even with our bad weather interruption (the worst our photographer had experienced too!), it was an incredible wedding day! The bride and groom were spared stress from the weather and the party carried on, happier than ever! Many thanks to The Catering Company. They are simply the best, our go-to for every event.

  Excellent food and service!

  We got Santmier Catering to cater our wedding and he and his crew went above and beyond expectations! From the very beginning, Nick was very easy to work with and responsive. He provided all sorts of helpful tips and advice and got us exactly what we were looking for. In addition to all of this, his food is outstanding! On our wedding day, Nick and his staff went out of their way to take care of problems and help with things beyond what they were hired to do! I highly recommend Santmier Catering!

  Amazing food

  I was an out of state bride who was looking for excellent food and I stumbled across this company. Angie was who I was in direct communication with and who showed up at my walk through and she was a DELIGHT. She helped me every step of the way and helped me navigate my way through planning a menu for my guests. We never ever tasted the food before the wedding we just went based on the reviews on this website. All I wanted was delicious food - not the typical wedding food that I'm so accustomed to - and Santmier Catering did just that. We went with the BBQ option and my guests are still talking about it a few days after the wedding. If you're looking for DELICIOUS food - this is the company to hire.

  Delicious Food and Great Staff

  Using Santmier Catering will guarantee none of your guests will leave hungry. All of the food created by this vendor was absolutely delicious. When we did our tasting, I was impressed with all of the food offerings and it took us awhile to finalize our menu because there were so many tasty options. Not only did they provide the food they also offer the option of bartenders, a baker, and table linens. We utilized all of these options and it made planning easier since we didn’t have to worry about searching and meeting with additional vendors. The cake and cupcakes were delectable. I almost forgot the funnel cake station, this was enjoyed by several of our guests. We received many compliments on the food and drinks provided at our wedding. The staff was also very personable and easy to work with.

  We had a phenomenal experience with Santmier Catering! From day one, they were very open about their services and very willing to work with us, our vision and our budget. Both Angie and Nick's responsiveness was unparalleled leading up to the big day, and several of our guests commented on how "well organized" their staff operated. They are truly a well-oiled machine! Due to venue accessibility constraints, I had budgeted an hour for breakdown and clean up--Nick's staff were done cleaning and had mopped up the floors within 15 min of our sendoff/guests leaving. Would highly recommend to any bride/couple looking for a more price conscious catering option without compromising quality. Food was delicious! We are thrilled to have had them facilitate such a key part of our wedding day!

  Just delicious!

  My husband and I are very picky about food. He regularly smokes BBQ at home, and our biggest requirement for our wedding caterer was that the food had to be better than something we would make ourselves. It took a few tries to find that, but we were thrilled after our tasting with Santmier Catering. Compared to other caterers, Nick was more personable, better priced, and made the best food by far. We were impressed with his range of options and the fact that he made his desserts in house.
  
  His team was very easy to work with despite (many) menu changes and we got a ton of compliments on the food. We had a great experience and I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking to cater an event.

  Delicious! Attentive! Professional! Flexible!

  We were so grateful for this caterer! We had another company fall through and the team at Santmier, aka "The Catering Company," was super helpful and responsive through the whole process. We were impressed with the level of professionalism of the service and the quality of the food. We chose buffet style and had 2 servers and 2 chefs present. The owner was available to be one of our chefs that day and he was very thoughtful bringing us some of the appetizers and drinks in between the ceremony and the reception. They took care of everything so we didn't have to worry about a thing except having a great time on the best day of our life! I highly recommend this caterer and would hire this company again for sure! No regrets and it was within our price range. Thank you!

  Food at events is so often lackluster, and I was determined that our wedding wouldn't fall into that trap. Nick was responsive and flexible throughout, and customized the dishes we picked to our tastes. The food was SO GOOD, and the service was excellent. All of our guests were thrilled (my restaurateur uncle declared the prime rib the best he'd had) and the catering staff made sure my new husband and I not only got to eat but were kept refilled on anything we wanted more of! They took such good care of us all from our pre-ceremony hot chocolate and cider station all the way through last call, and were genuinely friendly and helpful the whole time. We were also able to rent all the necessary linen/china/etc from them, which made planning that much easier. Our wedding was beautiful (and delicious!) and I can't thank Nick and his team enough for the huge role they played in making it such a success. I would recommend them to anyone.

  Everything was perfect!

  Santmier Catering was truly amazing for my wedding! The food was wonderful and they were very professional, organized, and understanding! Usually, a wedding is not remembered by its food (or if it is, not for good reason), but we received so many compliments from guests. I highly recommend Santmier Catering!

  Amazing Service !

  We chose Santmier’s Catering and it was one of the best choices we ever made!! Our caterer Nick was very understanding on our vision for our wedding catering. The meal perfectly fit int our theme. The food was absolutely delicious!! We could not have asked for anything better.

  Nick and his team did an amazing job. Most importantly, his food tastes amazing but he really went above and beyond throughout the entire wedding planning process. His prices are very affordable but you don’t sacrifice any quality. I changed multiple things on the menu in the months leading up to the wedding and he was very responsive. I even switched up all our plans for plates, napkins, etc. the week of the wedding (yes I’m indecisive) and Nick was able to accommodate every single one of my last minute switches.

He helped me figure out our wedding timeline and gave me advice based on his wedding experience and it really came in handy. During dinner, Nick even came over and asked if we needed drinks or anything at all. Such amazing service. My friend said it was the best wedding food she has ever had and my Best Man said he would pay $100 for the macaroni and cheese alone. Those are just two of the amazing comments we got throughout the night. If you choose to have Santmier Catering cater your event, trust me, you won't regret it!

  Not Your Average Wedding Caterer

  Nick and Sara were amazing to work with! It took about 5 minutes for my now husband and I to know who would be catering our wedding after the tasting. It was a no brainer. Nick helped us create a unique menu that was personal to us. We look forward to having his food again in the future!

  Typically, wedding food isn't very good, the meat is dry, and the food is bland (a forgetable experience). BUT when I tell you our wedding food was SO GOOD, I really mean it. The food was high-end restaurant quality! The caterer was super flexible, and let us choose everything, including what kind of napkins we wanted. This made the prices workable and it fit our budget perfectly. We were so pleased with Santmier Catering! If you want really good food that you'll remember for your wedding day with fantastic and seamless service, definitely book Santmier Catering!

  Wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding reception

  We used Santmier Catering for our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.
  Nick is an amazing chef and his food was delicious! For the rehearsal dinner we had a taco bar. The menu consisted of grilled Mexican chicken, grilled peppers/onions, taco beef, rice, and refried beans with all the fixins. It was all very fresh and was presented beautifully! The food tasted better than any Mexican restaurant, as was expressed by my father-in-law... we agree! For the wedding reception, we had chicken and pork bbq sandwiches, Mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw,, pasta salad, etc. which was all so yummy! Nick always provides plenty of food so there’s never a concern of ever running out and not having enough. We would highly recommend Nick for any catering needs. He was great about getting back to our emails and answering questions when my husband or I would email him. Nick worked within our budget as we were planning. He made a stressful time, especially planning a wedding during covid, not so stressful for us. Winchester is lucky to have a chef and caterer in town like Nick, as well as his staff, who are all very professional and friendly too. Thanks Santmier Catering for helping to make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner and reception a dream come true!

  Nick is an amazing chef and his food was delicious! For the rehearsal dinner we had a taco bar. For the wedding reception, we had chicken and pork bbq sandwiches, Mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw,, pasta salad, etc. which was all so yummy! Nick always provides plenty of food so there’s never a concern of ever running out and not having enough. We would highly recommend Nick for any catering needs. He was great about getting back to our emails and answering questions when my husband or I would email him. Nick worked within our budget as we were planning. He made a stressful time, especially planning a wedding during covid, not so stressful for us. Winchester is lucky to have a chef and caterer in town like Nick, as well as his staff, who are all very professional and friendly too. Thanks Santmier Catering for helping to make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner and reception a dream come true!

  Excellent!!!!

  Nick and his staff just catered my wedding this past weekend and my husband and I could not have asked for a better experience. So professional, kind, and organized. The food itself was sublime, so delicious and nicely set up. I was concerned about having a wedding during this time with covid, but they helped us feel safe with the amount of precautions they took (masks, gloves, plexiglass, etc.). Several of my guests made sure to tell me how much they enjoyed the food and friendly staff. Some guests had food restrictions and the staff were very accommodating and helped to explain their options, and even prepared meals separately for some people with allergies.

  Great Experience!

  We used Santmier Catering for our wedding a couple weeks ago and they were awesome! They were able to accommodate us after we were forced to move our original wedding date due to COVID. Nick even came over to our house to do an outdoor, distanced tasting. Nick was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. We went with heavy hors d’oeuvres for our reception and the food was exactly what we were looking for and it was delicious! The day of was well executed. We highly recommend you use them for your next event.

  Best Catered Food I've Ever Had

  We worked with Nick of The Catering Company for our wedding and were beyond happy with the service we were provided! The wait staff and bartenders were great – we received several comments from our guests about how polite and fun they were. The food..was..amazing! The groom and majority of our guests are incredible cooks, are very picky about food, and cook for large groups of people regularly, and EVERYONE was raving about how great the food was. Nick, owner and head chef, of The Catering Company grilled our entrees (chicken and burgers) onsite. The whole venue smelled amazing, and people were commenting about that before we even got to enjoy the food! We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Nick and crew!

We got a tasting scheduled and were extremely happy with the food choices, as well as already looking forward to the meal at our wedding.
  
  Their staff continued to be highly supportive and engaged leading up to our wedding with coordinating details and logistics. Angie was excellent with giving advice and input to make our big day the best it could be.
  
  When the big day came, we were highly impressed, and despite rain plans changing the course of the day, the setup, bar, and food went smoothly. Guests loved the appetizers especially and the bartending staff moved the line along swiftly.   Stellar catering group. They catered our wedding (we went for BBQ) and did a fantastic job. We received so many compliments from guests on the food! Working with them was an easy and smooth process. On the day of the wedding, the team came in and did their thing without any issues or even asking any questions. Highly recommend as a caterer for weddings.
