Beautiful Ceremony
Bishop Cait Finnegan is absolutely fantastic! She officiated our 12/15/21 wedding on short notice - I think we first spoke about two weeks out from the wedding and we are SO happy we found her! From beginning to end, she was so kind and helpful. We didn't have much of an idea of how we wanted our ceremony to go, other than it being non-religious. Bishop Cait gave us so many different options and was happy to make changes to accommodate our non-religious ceremony request. All of her options were beautiful and it was hard to choose between them - reading through our ceremony in our living room prior to the wedding made me cry (happy tears) with how beautiful it was! The day of, our ceremony was absolutely perfect! We had a petite wedding and our ceremony felt so intimate and personal. We loved Bishop Cait, and our families had so many wonderful things to say about her and our ceremony! The owner of our venue was very impressed as well and said she'd be recommending Bishop Cait to her future couples. We are so happy to have met Bishop Cait and cannot thank her enough for everything!The Celtic Christian Church's reply:

Bishop Cait Finnegan is an absolute GEM. We found her almost a year prior to our wedding and after speaking with her the first time, we absolutely thought she was the perfect fit, however, we chose to go with a family friend instead. We ended up have some scheduling issues pop up which caused us some distress, so on a whim, two months before our wedding, we reached out again to Bishop Cait and she said "Let's Get You Married"! She was absolutely professional, remained in contact the entire time, we didn't have to chase her down and she was incredibly flexible with meeting, as we have a difficult schedule. She walked usthrough every step and helped up to create the interfaith ceremony of our dreams, that honored each of our beliefs with reverence and joy. She showed up early to the ceremony sight, which was in the woods by a stream. She delivered the most beautiful, heartfelt service, and even cracked a joke or two privatrely, just for us, to help us relax. When our 6 year old daughter got emotional/teary during a particularly sweet moment in the ceremony and was having trouble pulling herself together, the Bishop got down on her level and spoke quietly, directly to her in a calming way, asking her to help and rediected her in such a sweet way that she was able to help her relax and breathe and return to the ceremony with ease. Even at the endof our ceremony, when we realized that we forgot our marriage license and had to have someone run back to get it, she had noprobem staying with us and waiting.
We cannot say enough wonderful things. Our wedding day was made all the more perfect and magical thanks to Bishop Finnegan.The Celtic Christian Church's reply:

Bishop Cait Finnegan was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is such a genuine and kind soul whom we felt an instant connection with from the moment we met. She was reasonably priced, quick to respond, and so easy to work with. She was always willing to talk and answer any questions or concerns we had. We also loved the suggestion she gave us to light a candle in memory of my husband's father who recently passed in December during the ceremony. She is a beautiful person inside and out and we would recommend her to anyone looking to get married!! -

Working with Bishop Cait made the whole ceremony go by without a hair out of place!
I am Wiccan/Pagan and my husband is Agnostic. Our families are of different Christian sects. Complicated right? Not to Bishop Cait. We were able to include the sand ceremony as well as both Christian and Pagan readings for the ceremony. She allowed us to use our own readings and provided readings as well. She was very responsive and opened herself up to any family members that had issue with combining different religious readings. She answered all questions and talking with her was so easy to do.

Our style is casual as was our outdoor wedding venue so we sought from Cait a ceremony befitting of our nature erstwhile providing form, structure, pronouncements befitting a holy sacrament. Cait has many templates to choose from to help a couple create their niche but above all, it is Cait's very presence, her gracious sincerity, that is grounding, charming and memorable. Cait has a keen sense of order and pace, she'll keep everything on track - but most of all she believes in YOU. Everyone at your wedding will feel that channel of devotion and tune in!
At our ceremony it was 100 degrees - hot July & high noon - yet somehow Cait kept us all cool and light - just long enough to get us married! An awesome feat in such oppressive weather!

Reverend Cait had no qualms with officiating a secular wedding service in a Church setting (her home) between a Roman Catholic and an Atheist who were dressed in Harry Potter Hogwarts uniforms. The service was beautiful and Reverend Cait was sweet and has a sense of humor. Her late husband, who was the Celtic Christian Church's Presiding Bishop at the time, was a witness, as was a sister in the Celtic Christian Church. We were married in evening, which she also did not have qualms about. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding. If you want your wedding officiated by someone who has no qualms about the backgrounds of the individuals getting married and if you want your wedding officiated by someone who genuinely enjoys what she does and is honored to help you celebrate one of the most important days of your life, then you should stop looking and contact Reverend Cait. -
