A Symphony of Perfection: The Chair Factory's Unparalleled Elegance and Impeccable Service
It's taken me a few months to encapsulate the sheer delight we experienced with The Chair Factory, from the very moment we embarked on our venue search to the final wrap-up of our special night. The entire team at The Chair Factory demonstrated a level of professionalism that surpassed our expectations.
Even with the challenge of a hot August wedding, they managed to keep our guests comfortably cool indoors. The venue itself is a vision of elegance, and utilizing their recommended vendors proved to be a decision that exceeded our wildest expectations. The vendor meeting streamlined the wedding planning process, a crucial factor given my short engagement.
One standout feature was the team's commitment to ensuring that not a single detail escaped their attention. From setup to take-down, The Chair Factory staff went above and beyond, sparing us any need to lift a finger- all the way to packing up our items at the end of the night and loading them into the car. This level of care and consideration stands in stark contrast to other weddings I've been a part of.
The bride and groom suites were not only functional but impressively spacious, adding a touch of luxury to our day. The feedback from our guests has been consistently positive, with many expressing their admiration for the venue, the seamless event flow, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff.
Our experience with The Chair Factory was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a perfect blend of elegance, efficiency, and a team that truly cares about making your special day extraordinary. It's taken me a few months to encapsulate the sheer delight we experienced with The Chair Factory, from the very moment we embarked on our venue search to the final wrap-up of our special night. Amazing!
My husband and I got married here last week and it was beautiful! The exposed brick, wood floors, and industrial touches are so cool and give the spacious venue some real character. The best day of our Lives
The chair factory was absolutely beautiful and unique. This venue accommodated all of our needs. Soirees southern Events who runs the chair factory’s event I can’t even put it all into words how amazing they were. Sherri’s flowers were so stunning I couldn’t even believe my eyes. Our absolute precious wedding planner Becca made our entire experience a dream. I felt like these ladies were my family after all this! We adore them and would recommend this venue and event planners a thousand times over again. No question they are the best in the business! The chair factory was absolutely beautiful and unique. The Chair Factory is a beautiful, industrial space that turns into the perfect wedding venue.
The Chair Factory was the perfect space for our indoor wedding in June. It is beautiful with its exposed brick walls and original wood floors and takes little decor due to its rich interiors. Not only is it beautiful, it is spacious and can house your guests without feeling crowded. The Chair Factory was a wonderful venue for our reception! The gorgeous exposed brick, wood beams, and original wood floor made it breath taking. It was more than enough space for our 200 guest count. So many guests came to us just in awe of how beautiful the venue was on our wedding day. Beautiful Venue
The Chair Factory is such a beautiful venue. We loved all the exposed brick, hardwood floors, and industrial finishes. They make everything so easy with their all inclusive packaging and hosting of vendor meetings to select a personalized vendor team. I will say, the packages do only include the basics, and we ended up paying out more to several individual vendors to get everything we were wanting. They also took care of all set up, decorating, and break down which was a huge plus in my book. The bridal suite and groom's loft are both very spacious and the bridal suite in particular is just incredibly beautiful. All in all it was an incredibly smooth process and I am so happy with our decision to have our wedding here. The Chair Factory is such a beautiful venue. **Venue double-booked our date. We tried to resolve the issue, felt disrespected.**
After securing The Chair Factory (TCF) for our Fall 2022 wedding, a weight was lifted off of our shoulders, only to be crushed by the news that they made a colossal error and contracted 2 couples for the same date.
We still can't comprehend how this happened. We were told the owner had booked another couple for the same date but never added their info to TCF calendar of events. When we toured the venue, the event manager even called the owner to get permission to place a temporary hold if we needed time to discuss. The hold was granted for 2 days. This was less accommodating than the 7 other venues we toured who all offered a 1-week courtesy hold. We felt rushed and pressured, so we returned to place the deposit an hour later that same day.
Unfortunately, almost a month went by before this mistake was realized. A month feels like a lifetime in wedding planning, and we had already booked hotel blocks, a band, and had our families and bridal parties commit to the date.
We were informed of the double-booking by the event manager. Being that the owner made the mistake, it would have been proper for him to deliver the news. When we decided to escalate our concerns and call the owner, he answered with “I thought [the event manager] already shared all of that.” From the beginning of the call, we got the impression that the owner viewed us as an inconvenience, not a client who he should be making amends with.
In our call with the owner, we didn't get a sense of remorse beyond the initial admission that he made a mistake. We were distraught as planning a wedding in 2022 has been met with most vendors being booked out 15 months ahead of time. When we brought up this concern, the owner assured us that their vendors would still be available on whatever new date we chose. However, part of the reason we liked TCF was the flexibility to bring in our own vendors at no additional cost. Assuming we would be happy with their vendors before we had the opportunity to meet with any of them was extremely presumptuous.
We considered still having our wedding at TCF, but our call with the owner left us feeling disrespected. The owner’s solution to the problem was that we pick a different date and he would give us a $2,500 discount. We felt that $2,500 wasn’t enough of a discount for such a large error, especially since a change of date would require vendor/entertainment changes and an ultimate change in our wedding vision. We wanted a fall wedding, but the only remaining date at TCF that would work for us was a week before Christmas. The new date being during the holiday season would have made our search for vendors even more difficult since we would be competing with holiday parties and upcharges. In addition, the new date would have caused issues with holiday travel and people not being able to attend our wedding. To ask us to make all of these changes without offering to compromise on recourse seemed stingy and rooted in profit margins. We understand that TCF is a business, but we wish the owner were more concerned with making a terrible situation right instead of his bottom line. After much discussion, the owner eventually asserted that "money seemed to be our main motivation” which came across as insulting.
In the end, we decided on a different venue. TCF returned our $5,000 deposit, but we would not suggest this venue to other couples. Our deposit should have held our date, but obviously it did not. We were coming to terms with the fact that we would have to move our wedding to 2023, but fortunately, there was one date left at another venue we loved. We are now spending more money at our new venue, but we felt so burned by TCF that we are willing to do so. Money was never our main motivator. Instead, we hoped for a venue we could trust with people who care about the couples, and we didn’t get that from TCF.After securing The Chair Factory (TCF) for our Fall 2022 wedding, a weight was lifted off of our shoulders, only to be crushed by the news that they made a colossal error and contracted 2 couples for the same date.

Gainesville residents here turned disappointed groom. Brides review to come..
Disappointed groom here:
Terrible experience overall, bad vendors across the board who were over worked and never available, terrible bookkeeping and paperwork by the venue, they did not provide signed contracts that held them liable to their word, zero room for our own personal ideas, they’re made it feel like they’re a “wedding factory” spitting out couple after couple, the last minute up charges were shocking to us… I could go on all day.
I felt like they are far more concerned with quantity of weddings throughout the year, instead of the quality of individual weddings.
(These same people manage Cold Creek Farms)
Where to start… I’ll make this as short as possible and base this off of the documentation from emails to Jeff (The Owner) wanting an NDA signed to keep us quiet.
Vendors made us feel they were over booked and that we were just a number to them, we received snarky attitude from numerous. They claimed to be a “all inclusive” venue, yet didnt tell us about the seemingly endless up charges until we were a couple months out. Our guests were already invited and it was far too late. We DID attempt to back out 3 times total, however, they kept saying “trust the process. We do this for a living.”
At the time of writing this, Jeff has refused to release our wedding pictures until we pay the final $2280 for the extra headcount we feel like we shouldn’t pay because they let us down so much. Yet, during negotiations he was willing to forget this amount in return for a signed NDA by my wife and I. We refused, while eventually planning on paying the remaining balance so others know about this disaster called “Our Wedding Day.”
Vendors could not keep up, it was 1 month from our wedding and we couldn’t even find out what our menu was.. Yet, got a very disrespectful email frim the caterer when we finally HAD to ask. Her reasons were related to her personal life.
Jeff had zero ability to keep up with the bookkeeping regarding our wedding. We had to beg and plead over and over for him to update the online portal to reflect the payments we were making to him. Our belief was simple: If customers are expected to make timely payments, we expected the venue to update the necessary info in the same manor.
I could go on all day about our grievances, however, this place DROPPED THE BALL on the most important day of our lives.
My wife and I wanted a semi customized wedding.. We thought they had the template and we have the details, seemed simple enough.. The Chair Factory made us feel as if they’re nothing short of a “I do Factory” with nobody’s interests in mind by their own. They made our wedding a living hell.
Finally, after almost 3 months, we still don’t have our wedding pictures as of writing this, even though I paid for them months ago… This is solely Jeff’s shoulders who has handed this ongoing situation over to his attorney wanting him to resolve it…
We were excited to have our wedding in our hometown, yet I’m hiring The Chair Factory turned out to be extremely regrettable and I would not dare suggest them to family and/or friends.Disappointed groom here:

Just no. Find somewhere else or save your money and elope
So much no. There were too many issues to count. I had to create a timeline of their inadequacies and it was pages. Many, many things wrong throughout the planning process and day of. We were told to “trust the process”. Flowers wrong and literally ran out of roses in a rose heavy wedding, no second photographer (Which the entire cocktail hour and outdoor activities were missed from photos because we had after ceremony photos. 2nd photographer was written on the form and discussed at my boudoir photos ), “after the tone” phone wasn’t set up and we didn’t get but 2 voicemails from our entire wedding (it was a huge hit but nothing recorded). Our extra desserts we stated we wanted were all thrown out. Our pictures and video were held from us. I could go on and on. I can’t say RUN fast enoughSo much no. There were too many issues to count. I can’t say RUN fast enough -

Wedding Reception
Since you have asked me several times to review the Chair Factory...here you go. I was very pleased & will be forever grateful to Sherrie/Soirees Southern Events. That said - leading up to the reception for my sweet daughter & soon to be son in law was a NIGHTMIRE due to the 'over promise' and 'under delivered' of the Owner of the Chair Factory. He did not deliver nor did he offer to compensate in any way for the unbelievable STREE that was caused. His mis-management turned an event that should have been a total joy & fun occasion into one of the most stressful and heartbreaking events. I will be forever grateful to Sherri/Soirees Southern Events & a gentlemen named Doug for working so hard in salvaging some of what was promised and at least making sure that the reception happened. Doug is no longer associated with the Georgia Chair Factory. Sherrie & her Soirée Southern Events company work with other wedding venues as well. I highly recommend Sherrie/Soirée Southern Events but with a good conscious can NOT RECOMMEND the Georgia Chair venue.Since you have asked me several times to review the Chair Factory...here you go.
