  Our Reception

  We are just starting plans with Britany, but she seems wonderful and so very flexible so far. She is willing to let us adjust and use her spaces however we want, and the price is great!!

  I cannot say enough nice things about Britney and the staff at the Chateau. She was wonderful, helpful, responsive, flexible, and just a pleasure to work with. She answered all my questions (very quickly) and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. The reception was absolutely beautiful and I received tons of compliments on the food. The Chateau really made my wedding amazing and I would highly recommend them.

  The ladies at the Chateau were great at helping me book and plan the wedding and reception. We had everything there and the guests loved it. I booked the Chateau because of its convenience and because it was so beautiful there was no need to spend extra on décor.

  All of my concerns and questions were always answered in a timely manner. I felt they were personally invested to make my wedding successful and as I wished. The food was excellent. And all details big and small were always handled well. Everything went as planned.

  What a perfect evening. Danielle and her staff were amazing and if a problem did come up...I'm certain I didn't know about it. People are still talking about the food....not your typical wedding food...we did the Mac & Cheese Bar, 2 carving stations and salad bar...Nacho Bar at 10....a huge hit. We filled every single inch of the space and didn't feel crowded at all. Very pleased with outcome!

  Sasha was very very helpful through the whol process of planning and having my wedding at the Chataue . Danielle and aasha did a fabulous job at making sure that every need and want was fulfilled and made sure that I was comfortable and as stress free as possible through the entire process ! Both Sasha and Danielle were great !!

  We contracted with the Chateau for our daughter's reception. Due to an unfortunate last minute change, we moved the rehearsal and wedding to the Chateau as well. Danielle and Sasha moved mountains and bent over backwards to accomdate the last minute change. We were not surprised by their eagerness to help us during this trying time, because from the moment we met them, they rolled out the red carpet for us! It didn't matter that we called with questions so many different times, their patience with us was awesome. Always eager to take our calls or call right back if needed. In the few days leading up, they had us bring in the different items we would be using for the ceremony and reception, stored them, then pretty much set everything in place for us. We only made a few small changes. The Chateau itself is beautiful, so decorations were minimum. Cocktail hour in the library was great and enjoyable! The cocktail food was great! They worked extremely well with our wedding coordinator. Most times, its hard to have access to someone; we did not experience that. They worked with us, for us and really made it a special occassion. The reception food and wait staff were great. They were able to take our daughter's dream, and make it a reality. They provided a beautiful day free of stress for the bride, groom and their famiy and guests. I would recommend The Chateau to anyone, and in hindsight, doing everything in one place, turned out to be the best thing in the world, especially with the majority of the guests staying at the hotel. Thank you Danielle and Sasha for everything you did! There is really so much more to say, but not enough space!

  The Chateau was the perfect location for our wedding. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff at The Chateau were always professional and willing to answer any question we had. With a harsh winter I was concerned that their water fountain would not be running on the day of our wedding. I had asked our coordinator if she would be able to find out for us and she directly met with the hotel's maintenance to ensure it was running for our special day. Their wedding package is also a wonderful option for large wedding groups. We had a group of approximately 160 people and we were able to serve them a lovely dinner and even have a block of hotel rooms for most of the guests at a very affordable price. This venue is wonderful for an all-in-one style wedding location. The entire party and many guests stayed at the hotel, we had the ceremony in part of the ballroom that was sectioned off by wall dividers, cocktail hour in the library, then dinner and reception with dancing in the ballroom that had been transformed during cocktails. This made the day stress free and a dream come true!

  The Chateau was so accomadatong with all of our needs and took care of everything so I did not have to worry about anything. They truly made my wedding beautiful and unforgettable. We will be back.

  I had my ceremony and reception both at the Chateau and I absolutely loved them! The event coordinators were always very helpful and easy to contact. Plus the venue is already so beautiful that I hardly needed any extra decor. We had the cocktail hour out in the library in between the ceremony and reception so the staff could flip the space and all I had to add to the room was a few cocktail tables. They have a GREAT menu (everyone raved about the food) but they can also be flexible and make anything you want off the menu. The wedding package they offer is also a really great value.

Jen is the best wedding coordinator ever; she was super friendly, responsive to calls and emails, and willing to work with you on whatever it is you envision for your big day. She really allows you to customize your wedding, and is open to trying new things even if it's something The Chateau doesn't usually do. Everyone loved our venue, and the food got great reviews from our guests. Jen even returned our cake stand for us when we realized we forgot and had already left for our honeymoon! The price is very reasonable, especially when you compare it to other venues in the area. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

  Planning a wedding from a thousand miles away is NEVER easy. But Jen and recently Danielle made it so worth the effort. Every time I had a question, concern, who can get me this or do this for me, Jen was right there. Her knowledge of vendors and the quality they give is second to none. She was absolutely amazing - attended to details even I had not thought of and made the day so wonderful. I wish I could do it again!! Thank you a million times Jen and Danielle for making my decision to move the wedding from my daughters home to her husbands hometown such a treat and for not giving me one moment of regret!! Beyond Jen and Danielle, the hotel staff catered to all my hotel guests and all my needs above and beyond any expectation. If you have the chance, jump at having your wedding here - you will NOT be disappointed.

  The catering manager was very easy to communicate with and replied promptly to any questions I had throughout the entire planning of our event. The staff decorated for us the day of the wedding after I explained what we wanted the room, tables, etc. to look like. We had a display of 7 family wedding dresses on mannequins that the staff set up beautifully for us in the entrance. The staff during the reception was very professional and courteous to me and all guests. The food was also really good.

  Trying to reach the venue minimum was difficult because we didn't have as many people attend the reception as we had originally planned. But the catering and banquet staff were very helpful in working with us to make sure we got the most value from the amount we were paying.

Their food was amazing, we had the chicken oscar & chicken wellington as our choices. They also did a veggie lasagna for those that couldn't eat meat. I gave the Service Quality a 4/5 because (1) whoever cut the cake cut the slices so thin that my guests complained they didn't get enough cake, there was also a TON of cake leftover and (2) their honeymoon suite wasn't really anything to write home about. The contract stated it would be a suite w/ a 4-poster bed. I think they went through a rennovation so it was just a king bed suite that had a "living room."

  We did have problem with the way that they handled our guest's rooms for the weekend. The front deskman didn't give away hardly any of our favor bags to our guests and many people were billed for rooms that were previously paid for. Most embarrassing for everyone, was that the front deskman gave our mother a room that was already occupied by another guest. She actually walked into a room that another hotel guest was already in!
  We also got a later bill for $70 for supposedly another meal that we had to pay for, when we had 5 guests who didn't show up to the reception. That should have covered the extra meal that we supposedly owed for! We paid thousands of dollars to them, what is a mere $70 that we have no idea what came from.
  If those few things wouldn't have happened, our experience would have been 100%. Jen, the wedding coordinator, was very good and easy to work with.

  Overall, our reception was wonderful. The venue was beautiful and easy to decorate.

  The venue has mostly everything needed for a quick wedding, catering service was lacking a bit. prices were pretty outrageous for plates of food.

  I had to write disaster for one of the options because at the end of the night -- my parents, who paid for the entire wedding, could not get the room they had reserved or any room for that matter, because the hotel overbooked. Not only is this a disaster, but the Chateau did not even offer to find them a room at a different hotel in town, they basically just told me parents they were out of look. Pretty stupid considering my Dad was the one funding it.
