Kristen George is AMAZING. She was one of the preferred vendors at our venue, and she was the only option we looked at for a cake. We didn't need any more! She made the most fabulous bride and groom cake, and her cakes were so tasty as well! She spent an hour with us going over designs and ideas, and at the end of it all, was able to create the perfect cakes that reflected exactly what we wanted. And her prices were really good!

Our wedding cake turned out perfect!! We chose key lime (my favorite) and carrot. The cakes were so moist and delicious. The style and design came out better than we had envisioned. It was very important to us to utilize our monogram throughout different elements of our wedding, including the cake. Kristen transformed the monogram into a 3-D image on the front of the cake and it looked amazing!! The cake played a big role in our reception design as it was suspended from a beautifully draped canopy. We are sooooo happy that we decided to work with The Crafty Cakery!!

Kristen from The Crafty Cakery did an amazing job with our wedding cake. Our cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious. When we went for our consultation, we were the only people in the store so it was very personal and she sat down with us and went over what we wanted and has envisioned and we looked at pictures together so she had a firm grasp on what our vision was.

I asked her to copy the lace design from my dress with piping on the cake and she put it on the cake so it looked gorgeous and didn't take over the entire thing. She also let us choose different flavors for each tier since we just couldn't decide between all the delicious flavors - key lime was my favorite but my husband loved the traditional vanilla - for no extra charge! Since they were one of our venues "preferred vendors" she also waived the delivery charge. We got so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous our cake was and how delicious it was. I can't recommend Kristen enough!

My daughter and I planned her wedding from out of state. We had to have complete trust that Crafty Cakery would come through with minimal time spent traveling and planning. They made themselves available at our convenience for meetings when we could be in the area. The wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL, but even more important, it tasted like perfection. That's one of the things my daughter has talked about on multiple occasions since the wedding. The grooms cake was special and exactly as we had envisioned it to be - they even helped us incorporate some special elements in the grooms cake that were shipped in from Texas. Overall, if you're looking for a wedding cake and/or grooms cake that is beautiful and scrumptious then you need to work with these ladies - you won't be disappointed! I just can't say enough good things!

Words can hardly describe the wedding and groom’s cakes created by The Crafty Cakery! For our traditional cake, we had alternate rows of caramel and white, with a beautiful textured white icing that differed in design on each tier. The cake was moist, flavorful and so unique! They were also extremely flexible in their design – we had hoped for some handmade wooden flowers to add to the top, provided by another local artisan. They made a giant Dunkin’ Donuts cake for my husband, in honor of his beloved coffee addiction. My daughters wedding cake was delightful and delicious. The bride and groom live in Seattle and the wedding was held in Duluth GA. They were wonderful to work with and created a cake that matched our unique science fiction theme. We had a golden death star (Star Wars) topper and Dr. Who designs on the sides. The flavor was lemon cake with raspberry filling. It served as our only dessert and our guests were happy with that! Highly recommend Crafty Cakery.

The cake turned out beautiful and everyone loved the flavors that we had - especially the vanilla cake! My husband and I ended up having a piece saved for us at the end of the night that we scarfed down since we didn't end up eating that much. Definately recomend for ANY occasion that requires a cake or cupcakes!

I love, love, loved my cake and so did everyone else. It was way beyond my expectations, I did not know a cake could look and taste soooo delish! I really don't know where to start....but I guess the beginning would be a great start....

I found the Crafty Cakery while searching online, in need of a baker for my wedding cake. I called and right away Kristen was very pleasant, she answered all the questions I had from pricing, appointments, to tastings. I was very excited when I got off the phone with her, because I felt I was moving this wedding planning right along. My fiancé and I went in for a tasting and her shop is so cute! She had everything ready for us, soon as we walked in the door. We had so many cakes to taste and so many choices to make, they were all sooo good...but let me tell you.....that marshmallow based fondant she does.....it literally melts in your mouth. I've never had fondant like that before, I've eaten cakes with fondant on them, but it would hard, or break apart soon as the cake is cute, but no no no, not this one! Yum....this sold me here! Her prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the cake. I then showed her this design of a wedding cake I saw online that I wanted, with a few changes and she saw my vision exactly for my perfect cake. Once I saw my beautiful cake, I looked back at the image. It was amazing!!! Her prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the cake. I will try to post a pic here....you have to see it...it was beautiful. The cake was very moist, easy to cut, and ridiculously delicious. I had some people tell me they had seconds...score!!! Everyone is still talking about that cake and how beautiful and tasteful it was. I have seriously just found a lifetime baker....Kristen really did do an amazing job and I am forever grateful. I am so glad we chose The Crafty Cakery for our wedding cake and Groom's cake! Both designs were flawless! They worked with me from the very beginning of showing different ideas and suggestions of what can be done for our wedding cake since I was somewhat indecisive about what I was looking for. Kristen even worked with our budget and gave us top notch service! Even though they were going through a huge transition of opening their brand new store, I was still top priority to them. I loved Kristen's quick thinking about not putting flowers on the cake because it made it look a bit out of place and instead she put little Lego people throughout (which was a part of our theme) and flowers around the cake. As for the Groom's cake (dj turntables), my husband is still raving about it and fell in love with the design right away! We are still getting compliments on how awesome both cakes looked! Both cakes were absolutely delicious too and I can't wait to go back 1 year from now to taste it again. Thank you so much for everything!

The experience I had with the owners of crafty cakery went well beyond my expectations. They were extremely flexible and professional. I loved the cupcakes they made for my wedding and all of my guests commented on how wonderful they looked and tasted. I would recommend them to anyone that wants excellent tasting cakes and cupcakes as well as an extremely professional experience.

For my husband's surprise 70th birthday she provided the most gorgeous (and delicious) Oreo cake. My husband loves Oreos, so this was the perfect design for him. I could not believe how much it looked like an Oreo - perfect - with his name in the center where Oreo would have been. She worked with us on the flavors and we finally settled on a red velvet cake with a cherry filling - also his favorites. Even better than the design, was the taste. It was moist and delicious. I'd use her again in a minute.

The Crafty Cakery was an absolute hit at our wedding on July 6th! The guests could NOT stop talking about the delicious groom's cake (strawberry/strawberry) and the adorable, extremely moist cupcakes (in various flavors- red velvet/cream cheese, vanilla/vanilla, and yellow marble/chocolate)! My husband and I are really big cake people, and I can promise you- we were not disappointed! We froze the leftover cupcakes and are still eating them this week- they are fabulous. Kristen made the bride and groom cake for our wedding. The cakes she provided us were absolutely gorgeous and incredibly delicious. The details and designs were perfect! The cakes were moist and full of flavor and the icing was to the perfect level of sweet. We still have people asking today who made our wedding cake and telling us how good they were. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great tasting cake and stellar designs.

The Crafty Cakery was an absolute hit at our wedding on July 6th! The guests could NOT stop talking about the delicious groom's cake (strawberry/strawberry) and the adorable, extremely moist cupcakes (in various flavors- red velvet/cream cheese, vanilla/vanilla, and yellow marble/chocolate)! My husband and I are really big cake people, and I can promise you- we were not disappointed! We froze the leftover cupcakes and are still eating them this week- they are fabulous. Kristen at the Crafty Cakery is very professional, and it is clear that she absolutely loves what she does. Everything was perfect. She will also work with your budget, which if you're planning a wedding, you know is huge. We highly recommend The Crafty Cakery!

Kristen was an absolute gem and I am so glad that I found her. Deciding on a wedding cake was the hardest process in all of the wedding planning for me because I generally knew what I wanted: good cake at a reasonable price. Apparently this is hard to find in North Atlanta and she certainly delivered on both counts. She was so easy to work with and was able to bring a creative touch to my cake so that it was both unique and special.

At our initial meeting I was provided with a variety of flavors to try and they were fabulous. Based on what I tried I was able to customize my tiers to exactly what I wanted and I had the option to use as many flavors and combinations as I wanted! The final product was both tasty and beautiful. My guests could not stop raving about the cake and I am looking forward to breaking out the top tier on our anniversary.
