Robyn Sent on 08/24/2015Beautiful wedding cake made to exact specifications we asked for. Very convenient and flexible with baking times. We requested a cake for travel out of town (3 hours) and they made it the day prior and packaged it for the travel. Thank you Custom Bake Shoppe! -

Michele Sent on 05/20/2010Custom Cake made my groom's cake and the wedding cake. My husband worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line after college and I had them build the cruise ship. It was perfect! (And their chocolate cake is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!) The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful - exactly how I envisioned it. White almond cake with bavarian creme filling and their tasty buttercream icing. It was DELICIOUS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. -

They gave some helpful hints on decorations and they tasted great as well!! Extremely happy we went with them :) I would definetey use them again for birthday cakes, etc.. -
User1561639 Sent on 03/19/2014Desiree at the Custom Cake Shoppe was awesome to work with for our wedding. She was very flexible and accommodating in many ways. We wanted an 8 inch cake to be vegan lemon cake with seedless raspberry filling. It was the best cake EVER and everyone is still talking about it. People had no idea it was dairy/egg free! Also, we had 4 different types of cupcakes, all equally as delicious as the cake. She designed each cupcake flavor in a different way to distinguish them from one another. The designs were super cute, fit with our theme perfectly, and the teal color matched to a T! We had a batman groom's cake that was chocolate with peanut butter icing and it was to die for!! Although we ordered more than enough cake/cupcakes to go around twice, everything was completely gone by the end of the wedding. The details on the 8 inch cake were not entirely perfect, but that didn't matter to us. This was by far the best wedding cake we've ever had at any wedding, ever! -

Lindsay Sent on 05/16/2016In the wedding planning process, I've told people to not be taken aback by the plain interior of the Custom Cake Shop. They were absolutely AMAZING with their cakes and cupcakes - from beginning to end they were a delight to work with.
Some of the other bakeries in the area kept telling us "no" to this, and "we can't do that" to that. But Desiree and the other members of their team always told us "yes." Now, a bakery doesn't need to bend over backwards, but just offering up things like creating edible flowers for our cupcakes and cake were requests that only they were willing to fill!
Their white almond strawberry flavor is PHENOMENAL, and their marble/chocolate cake is moist and one of the best I've ever tasted. They took their time, made our vision come alive, and presented us with a beautiful setup at our reception. They even let us drop off our cake display and topper - they took care of it all flawlessly. No regrets whatsoever! -

I had specific ideas for the cake, and they were all perfectly incorporated into the cake. Highly recommended for both being an affordable, yet well made cake! I loved it!

Jennifer Sent on 09/01/2011Custom cakes did a fantastic job. The cake was very moist and some of my guests commented that it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. I would like to thank the cake shoppe for being so flexible. Due to hurricane Irene I had to move my wedding up a day and they were able to deliver my cake a whole day early without any trouble. Some of the staff in the shoppe are a little short with customers but all in all the cake is awesome!
