  Exquisite & Phenomenal Service!

  Mario is amazing! We were so lucky to have found him for our wedding. We absolutely loved the whole experience. The planning process was very smooth and the portal was easy to navigate. Mario was very responsive and flexible in customizing our experience. Many of our guests have told us that this was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and that Mario is the best DJ they've ever heard. Would highly recommend him for any and all of your events. Thank you for the wonderful memories, Mario!

  Best DJ Ever

  Mario was our wedding DJ, and we cannot recommend him and the DC DJs enough! From the beginning, he was so helpful and easy to get a hold of whenever we had questions. He played great music during the reception and kept the dance floor packed all night. We've had several guests mention how good the music was and later, when talking about the wedding, how FUN it was! We owe a lot of that fantastic feedback to DJ Mario. He was also a great MC; the events flowed smoothly; he orchestrated a soul train line for us, a request I made the night of, and our guests loved it. We couldn't have been happier with our DJ choice; you won't regret booking with the DC DJs.

  The Most Fun!

  We hired Mario from DC DJs for our wedding and I'm so happy we did! DC DJs' planning process is organized and thorough. When we came up with an idea the week of the wedding to open the dance floor, Mario was open-minded and excited. On the wedding day, he was professional while still being so fun! He handled the ceremony amplification and made sure everyone could be heard over the wind. At the reception, he kept the dance floor packed, played great music and had professional-looking lighting all over the space. My husband said he is a true "pro's pro". If you're getting married in the DMV area, we strongly recommend DC DJs & Mario.

  Engaging, personalized experience from the DC DJs

  Of all the nice things people said to us on our wedding day, great feedback about the music may have been what we heard most. Mario and The DC DJs were amazing to work with!
  
  Mario took the time to do a call with us about two weeks before the wedding. During that call he got a good understanding for the things that we absolutely knew we wanted, and he really leaned into those. He also had a good feel for things that we did not have strong feelings about, and was able to offer good advice thanks to his experience.
  
  In addition to the call, The DC DJs also make the preparation work seamless with an online portal to fill out forms and mark must play (and do not play) songs.
  
  The soundtrack to our wedding night was exactly what we wanted thanks to the friendly, professional, detail-oriented team at The DC DJs

  Book dc djs asap

  I had a rockstar vendor team - But I have been looking forward to leaving this review the most. Wherever you are getting married - If DC DJs will travel to you, contact Mario immediately and book them. I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding in Leesburg, VA and I had the most fun during their reception with the DC DJs Team. My friend was a wedding photographer herself so I knew she was around a lot of different DJs so it showed a lot to see who she chose for her personal vendor team. My fiance and I were planning a wedding at Smith Mountain Lake which is 4 hours south of Leesburg. I inquired if they would travel that far and they would, for an additional fee, and it was the best decision we made. Mario helped us through deciding what package was right for our event. They provided planning guides that made music selection and organization a breeze. Just in the final planning meeting alone, his personality was so much fun. I am not overexaggerating when I say that Mario was by far the most complimented vendor we had. Almost every guest went out of their way to tell us how much they loved him. His enthusiasm was genuinely contagious. I assumed my parents would sit and talk to their friends and family during the majority of dancing but they were on their feet with most all of the guests through the night. We had two hours of straight dancing and if I could have changed anything, I would have prolonged the party so that we could have had more time. I could not be happier with our experience with DC DJs. I really hope I get to go to another wedding in the future with this team so we can relive the fun.

  The best dj around

  Mario is THE BEST DJ around. His presence lit up the room at our wedding and he was by far the hit of the party. He was very responsive through the entire process and worked so well with us. His energy was off the charts and kept the crowd into it the entire night. He was by far the best wedding DJ we have every experienced, and we were lucky to have him. I highly recommend him as a DJ, your guests will not thank you enough!!

  They bring the party

  We had DJ Alex for our wedding and we were blown away! Alex did an amazing job and had everyone on the dancefloor. I always remember events based on the music and energy level, and Alex definitely brought the party. We still have friends comment on how great our DJ was. The company overall was extremely responsive, their website was very user friendly and everyone was professional. Alex was even up for the challenge of playing a 10 minute mashup of Britany Spears, which was a crowd favorite. Thanks for making our day an unforgettable party!

  What an amazing party!!!

  Our wedding was a non-stop dance party and it was 100% due to our DJ Mario from The DC DJs! He was incredible! He was responsive from our initial booking, had a super easy online wedding planning form for us to fill out, and had a really fun zoom meeting with us prior to our wedding to get a feel for us and for how we wanted our event to be. He brought the party and I barely left the dance floor the whole evening! All of guests said he was the best DJ they had ever heard and I couldn’t agree more. 10/10 would highly recommend and I hope I get to go to more events where he’s handling the music again! Thank you!

  Best DJ Out There

  Alex was absolutely amazing to work with! He was very responsive and easy to work with from beginning to end. He reminded us when we were getting close to the deadline for forms to be filled out and totally saved our butts! He was flexible in the way we gave him out preferred music lists and we gave him freedom to play songs that weren’t on those lists and he had ideas for certain entrances and such that made the day absolutely the most special day of our lives. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!

  Out of this world amazing

  I am a wedding photographer myself, so suffice it to say I have been to a lot of weddings. It might sound a little harsh, but I've never really cared about the DJ. I was never impressed...to me, they were always kind of in the background...a person that stands there and plays the music. This was until I attended a wedding the DC DJs were working. I was absolutely BLOWN away by the energy Mario brought, the transitions of the music, the clean aesthetic of all of his equipment that really blended into the background and wasn't an eyesore like most DJ equipment is. I emailed him the next day and hired him for my own wedding. I proceeded to spend the next few months hyping up how AMAZING Mario was going to be at our wedding to my now husband...so much so that my husband made me worried I had over-hyped because of how frequently I mentioned how awesome Mario was going to be.
  
  We just had our wedding a little less than a week ago and let me just say...not only did Mario live up to the hype, he far exceeded it. Mario and his assistant were absolutely incredible. They kept the dance floor so lively, the energy in the room was literally electric - I can't even describe it. Every song, Mario and his assistant were dancing/keeping the room hyped...the transitions they did from song to song were so fun...it was a literal dream. Everything was amazing. Oh - one of the funniest/best parts - I had gone up to the bridal suite to change into my sparkler exit dress and I got so excited by a song Mario played, I came out to the balcony overlooking the reception and started dancing...like 5 seconds later, Mario had shined a spotlight on me and it was genuinely one of the most hilarious/best moments. He does not miss a beat (no pun intended lol). My husband was also blown away and we received so many compliments on how awesome they were! I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Hiring the DCDJs was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

  Outstanding experience

  We can't say enough about the DCDJs. Mario was able to talk through the options and our expectations to fit our needs, and was able to get us booked on a fairly short timeline. He made the booking process a lot less stressful, which I am still very thankful for. Which leads us to DJ Alex, who was awesome. He put in all the time we needed to go through the platform and forms to get everything filled out, set up time to go through our style for the music and wedding which put us completely at ease. He did an outstanding job of getting all the music ready and in a great flow, which probably wasn't the easiest since we threw a lot of different styles at him. He did a great job at our wedding, and kept the night going strong. I highly recommend the DCDJs, they have great prices, great event packages and a la carte options, and have an outstanding team.

  Best DJ you could hire!

  We absolutely loved working with Mario from the DCDJs! We considered not having a DJ at first and are so glad we decided to hire the DCDJs. Mario was very professional and on top of everything every step of the way. Everything from song choice to day-of setup was taken care of without placing any stress on us. Every guest we’ve spoken with has shared how amazing our DJ was and we’ve already had lots of requests for their information. 10/10 would recommend the DCDJs for any and every DJ need!

  Mario is the BEST! Seriously - look no further for a DJ. We got married 6 months ago and we still get compliments from people about how amazing our DJ was. Mario made the planning process so fun and easy. He was such a joy to work with. He was so receptive to our requests for different music throughout the day. During our reception, the dance floor was packed the entire night! Mario’s playlist was AMAZING. We never wanted the night to end! I HIGHLY recommend him!! We would book with him again and again! Absolutely worth every penny. We cannot get over how amazing it was! I want to plan another party just so we can have Mario come and DJ. Book him for your wedding!!

  Mario was one of our first vendors chosen for our October 2022 wedding. And by far, the best person we had on our special day. Mario incapsulated everything we had envisioned and more. We couldn’t imagine such a special day without him doing everything and more to make sure we could focus on each other .   Look no further then Alex!

  DJ Alex from The DC DJ’s was the DJ for our wedding. Alex was simply incredible. He put so much attention and effort into making our day special. Every single element from ceremony to reception was controlled to a tee. He was perfect at mixing genres from dinner to the dance floor and truly kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. We were supposed to have a shuttle do an early run back to the hotel and it never left because no one wanted to leave. Our venue said this was the first time they had ever seen this happen. We contribute this to Alex! If you are getting married and looking for a top notch experience you can do no better than Alex.

  September 2022 Wedding Reception

  Man! Where do I begin?
  We are a couple that STRONGLY believes there are two things that can ruin an event, the weather and the DJ: Two things that can be completely out of our control, giving me extreme anxiety. But I should have known I'd be in great hands because no matter how many emails I threw at him, countless questions and concerns, Mario replied so attentively and his tone was so cool and collected. He is a true professional who tailors to YOUR needs and is worth every single penny. As an MC, he kept the energy going while also sticking to the timeline of events. The dance floor was never empty and he has really mastered how to mix a Playlist To give you a journey from start to finish. I gotta say, our entrance to Flosstradamus CoCo will go down in the history books!!

  Amazing and completely professional

  Mario and his team truly made my wedding one to remember. From our first meeting he completely understood our vision. He included all the genres and eras of music that we requested and kept the party going all night long.
  He even incorporated traditional Ethiopian music for my family into his playlist throughout the night.
  My bridesmaid's and I did a surprise dance for the groom and Mario cut and edited the song perfectly. I could not have asked for a better experience!
  The Photo Booth was a hit, per usual.

  Best Voice, Personality & DJ!

  Mario worked hard to make our wedding day special! It was a pleasure to have Mario be our DJ and emcee at our wedding. He was fun to work with and helped make our day unforgettable, and he has an INCREDIBLE voice! In our prep call, he worked with us to understand our wedding day style and how to manage the flow of events perfectly. He was so organized and answered all of our questions from a distance. We always felt confident knowing that he was handling the show. After the wedding, we received several compliments from our guests that he was the best DJ they have experienced, from former DJs and music people! They said, "he was overall great, with a great personality, looks, voice, and guest interaction (like giving dance lessons to the guests!)." Our guests have said that it's one of the best weddings they've been to, in large part to Mario kicking up his heels and joining in the fun! DC DJs knows how to make a Bride & Groom feel special. The dance floor was constantly packed and everyone raved about how good he was! He truly made the night for my wife and me! Mario has a phenomenal ability to get all our guests excited to dance, celebrate, and party that caters across multiple generations and musical tastes. The entire night was nothing but good vibes and positive energy flowing from the cocktail hour to the wedding reception. Would highlight recommend anyone planning a wedding to utilize The DC DJs services.

  Hands down - The DC DJs made our wedding. We needed a DJ last minute and he came highly recommended by both my wedding planner and caterer. He was magically available for my wedding date and it was the best decision I made. He offers so many services besides being a DJ, making him extremely versatile for your day. He is so easy to work with, has a great set up, and he really matches the vibe of the wedding. We provided our signature songs such as first dance, as well as some must plays, but otherwise we let him do his thing and it was amazing. The DJ can make or break a wedding and he DEFINITELY made it. Our guests still talk about how awesome our the DJ was and how much fun they had.

He got to know us, had a check in call two weeks before the wedding, has an extremely organized system to help deliver what you want, and checked in with us as needed during the wedding.
