  We were recently married in Indianapolis, Indiana. A friend of ours found the ASB online by searching for local artists' videos on youtube. We hadn't seen the band at all before the wedding day, but the entire planning process went perfectly, the communication was professional and timely, and most of all, their performance was AMAZING. Had tons of compliments on the band, their playlist was so versatile, and they learned new songs for us. Would recommend 100% using this group for your event!

  Andrew Simmerman is a very talented and professional individual. He and his band (of various size and instruments depending on your preference) perform a variety of different music styles from jazz, blues, rock n roll, top 40, and much much more. His voice is very soothing and he ads a unique flavor of vocals to all of the songs he sings. We hired his band for our wedding on 3/1/14, and everyone continues to talk about how great they were. He sang and played piano during the ceremony, and his band played during dinner and also later in the night for dancing. There was a packed dance floor, and many people singing along. I have had family and friends ask me about him and how I found him- which was actually from WeddingWire.com, ironically. He is extremely affordable to any other bands that you will find, and one of the best live bands that I have seen perform. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

  Andrew Simmerman Trio was exceptionally professional and easy to work with on our wedding day. I actually feel a bit bad because I was the one that was difficult to reach/make decisions, but Andrew handled it all very well. Showed up on time, set up was no problem, it all worked out flawlessly. They learned 3 new/unique songs for us, which made the event tailored to our tastes. Their performance was 'so cool'. They are young, fresh, full of energy playing classic and more contemporary songs, (very versatile play list is what attracted us- something for everyone). Our guests had THE BEST TIME, many compliments on the band. They really brought life to the evening.

  Best wedding band ever! My husband and I couldn't have hoped for a more entertaining and talented band! Andrew is one of the most talented musicians, killer on the piano with a phenomenal voice and altogether the reception was a jam! They played the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and every genre of music was executed perfectly. By far the best wedding band you could book for a reception to remember!

  We planned our Bloomington wedding from the East Coast and were feeling a bit apprehensive about working with vendors we didn’t know and wouldn’t meet until the days leading up to the event. However, the Andrew Simmerman Band blew us away with their professionalism and the ease in which they were able to incorporate the specifics of our event to their immense talents. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, extremely talented band with a broad musical catalog at their disposal.
  
  We first contacted Andrew several months before the wedding about working together and he was extremely responsive both over the phone and via email. While we had some specific songs in mind for the wedding song list, Andrew and his group accommodated our requests and even learned a few new songs for us.
  
  Andrew was an excellent emcee at our reception and helped keep the flow of the evening running smoothly. His group met and exceeded our expectations with the quality of their music. Andrew is clearly gifted with his voice. And the rest of the band made sure all of our guests from our grandparents to the flower girls enjoyed the music and danced the night away.
  
  The Andrew Simmerman Band was undoubtedly a crowd-pleaser; all of our guests kept asking for one more encore after each “final” song was over. There were several times where everyone in the crowd was singing along with the band. They kept people on their feet and we were never worried about losing the crowd. If we are ever in the Indianapolis-area again and in need of band – whether smooth jazz for a cocktail party or party featuring current hits – our first call will be to the Andrew Simmerman Band!

  Andrew did the music for our wedding in Lafayette Indiana, June of last year. It was wonderful working with him because he was so flexible, and very talented. He has a plethora of songs at his fingertips, which was really helpful in deciding which music to use for our wedding, but he is also very adept at learning new songs so we weren’t limited to a specific playlist.
  At our wedding we decided that we would prefer an acoustic piano feel, instead of a full band. Andrew did not disappoint. He was able to fill the sanctuary with beautiful arrangements of our favorite songs. His musicianship, and skill on the piano truly put us at ease, and we did not hesitate to ask for exactly what we wanted for our special day. For example, during the ceremony we wanted a well-known hymn played, but with jazz/blues chords thrown in for more of a smooth soft feel. Andrew immediately picked up on what we were looking for, and was able to give us an example on the spot.
  He was involved throughout the process, corresponding promptly via phone and email. At our wedding, my husband surprised me with a special serenade. Andrew was a wonderful accompanist. He also managed to make time to practice with my husband beforehand while keeping me completely clueless!
  While the days before the wedding have the potential to be extremely stressful, Andrew put us at ease (as far as music goes). He was always there when we asked him to be, and he had all of his equipment set up for the ceremony and the reception quickly and early!
  If you are looking for a special, personalized wedding, don’t look any further than the Andrew Simmerman Band. Andrew is an amazingly talented individual, willing to work with you in order to make your wedding perfect!

  Andrew played at my wedding back in 2010. He provided us with wonderful music during the ceremony and reception. He is very flexible and easy to work with. The Andrew Simmerman Trio is the best band I have ever heard at a wedding. Without a doubt, you will absolutely love having the Andrew Simmerman Trio be part of your wedding!
