Downtown Club is one of the venues associated with Cescaphe event group. The venue was everything we could have wanted and then some. The team was so on top of everything and the food was INCREDIBLE. our guests raved. We loved the look of the venue but were sold on just how much is included in booking a cescaphe venue. Cannot recommend highly enough, the value for price was just....unheard of.

My daughter’s wedding was held at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia on Saturday night. The view was beautiful and the wedding went very well. However, we paid a lot extra for tableside, wine pouring, and it turned out to be a farce. They charge $4.95 a person extra for this service; in my opinion, this is definitely not worth it, so I would advise you not to sign up for this.

I am amazed there are not more reviews for this venue! There are not enough words to describe the excellence and standard of production that Cescephe puts on. I was married here last year and cannot say enough about this place. Simply put... you WILL NOT be disappointed if you choose the downtown club.
The staff go above and beyond to make your night better than you could imagine. You want for nothing the entire night. From our first tour to the day of the event, our wedding coordinator Emily was there to answer our every phone call and inquiry. She took the time to walk through the entire night as many times as I asked which made the night run flawlessly. The staff and concierge were outstanding. Our maitre d' made our night absolutely effortless. I was able to enjoy every moment of my big day that we have been planning for months all because the professionalism of everyone on this staff. I did not need to stress or worry about anything because all of my details were being executed seamlessly.
A moment that stood out to me that best demonstrates the extra mile that this staff goes, was when I arrived at my head table to find the photos of my dog that I sent over to the cake maker (a little obsessed... I know) had been printed out and put in a beautiful frame so that we could share the night with her in spirit. It was the sweetest touch and made all the difference for me.

Everyone in this venue are exceptional and top notch. This venue is worth every penny. I am still getting rave reviews from distant family members and close friends that it was hands down... the best wedding they have ever attended.

Absolutely amazing venue! I got married on Sept 18, 2015 and had my reception at the downtown club. The view is amazing, venue is spectacular, and service is great. The night was flawless and Alana who helped us with the process was amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly. We had such a spectacular night and it was definitely a night to remember. as mother of the bride I can not say enough good things about the place. Everything was perfect.Rose helped my daughter with every part of the planning.Jessica stayed til the very end.My daughter had exact things she wanted done from the bathroom decorations to The place settings. All were perfect. the food was indispribaly delicious.So much,and perfectly served.Every wish was fulfilled. The evening went off without a hitch.The setting is wonderful.Thank you again.

Cescaphe event groups provided us services for the Downtown Club. This venue was perfect for us. It's right in the city by independence hall on the 9th floor with amazing views. And to top it off we got married on the 4th of July! Cescaphe was so attentive to our needs every step of the way. I would highly recommend this venue!

I recently had my wedding at the DTC and everyone was raving about it. DTC is managed by the Cescaphe Event Group who is their only caterer.

The location is in the heart of Old City, venue is on the top floor of the Public Ledger building looking out towards the Ben Franklin bridge and the Delaware River. It has the old 1920s feel to it with marble floors and high ceilings. It was the perfect venue for myself as I was able to make the space my own.

Cescaphe is a wonderful caterer that provides everything in one pretty package. Any idea I had, they were able to create it. I loved working with my catering manager as she was the day of event planner making sure the timeline was met. My maitre d' was awesome. He was there every minute with food, champagne and also calmed me down when I was uneasy about something.
