    I don't know if I can put into words how AMAZING of a venue The Empire Room is!!! Jackie, Jason, and the rest of the staff is INCREDIBLE! They are very flexible and responsive. This was the prefect venue for our wedding of 300. There was a ton of open space and no one was on top of each other. Having a space to get ready there was another great feature. Our guests loved the central location as well. Perfect cocktail hour space on their amazing patio area with great views of downtown.

    The Empire Room was wonderful for my wedding reception in September of 2015. The space felt very open which was important to me in a venue. The staff are very helpful and kind. The venue is extremely customizable to fit your personality and the vine you want for your event. There's alot of space to work with, but the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure every space has a purpose.

    You can bring in your own alcohol which is a great money saver.

    You can use whatever food caterer youd like but I highly recommend Gil's Elegant Catering.

    All of my vendors were allowed access to the venue at NOON even though the party didn't start until 7:30 pm (Most venues only allow be do access a few hours before the time of your event)

    The Empire Room continues to add, revamp, etc. making the both the indoor and outdoor space more and more attractive!

    This place is seriously the best.

    We had our reception at The Empire Room and it was the perfect venue for our event! The indoor/outdoor space is perfect to have multiple options of entertainment. The huge advantage to the space is that you can make it your own and also have a view of downtown for some amazing photos.

    We also used the bridal suite the day of to get ready in, the makeup artist and hair stylists said it was the perfect set up for them. This was well worth renting over a hotel because it had the perfect amount of space, it is connected to the bathroom and is a good setting for getting ready photos.

    The venue was super helpful in meeting all of our requests and helping us to create the space to fit our desires. Jackie was incredibly helpful throughout the process and even more so on the day of our event making sure everything went smoothly.

    I would highly recommend this venue and had so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the venue was.

    My husband & I got married at the Empire Room in August of 2014 and it was hands down the best night of our lives!!
    The ER is so versatile and can be decorated in so many different ways to match any theme. We had close to 300 people at our wedding and there was absolutely no problem with space -- nothing looked crowded and there was plenty of room to dance. We had the ceremony at the venue and the room switch was so smooth and quick... I was worried about having our guests outside during the middle of August but with the covering on the patio and short time it took for the switch to happen, it wasn't the slightest problem. The patio also has a really great view of downtown Dallas and looks really great at night with the twinkly lights. The ER also has an AWESOME bridal suite -- I had 10 bridesmaids & myself in there for most of the day and there was plenty of room [even with extra people coming in to do hair & makeup], mirror space, and outlets for every girl to do their hair & makeup and get ready for the night.
    We also chose to do valet parking .. with as many guests as we had, I am really glad we chose to do this because it made everything simple and worry free! A lot of venues have difficulty with parking especially in the downtown dallas area.
    I had to move away 2 months before my wedding and was not able to come into town until Wednesday of the wedding week & was worried that the distance would make it difficult to finalize wedding plans and details -- they made it so simple and worry-free & were extremely attentive and helpful with any concerns or questions I had.
    I looked all throughout DFW for the perfect venue for my wedding -- it seemed that the locations were either too expensive, too small, not versatile, or were wayy too fancy or wayy too casual.. The ER was a perfect balance and the perfect compromise between what my husband & I had envisioned our wedding to be like. I would definitely recommend the Empire Room to anyone needing a venue space!

    The Empire Room was the perfect place to hold our reception. They were so easy to work with and took care of all those tiny details and made our reception the best.

    The Empire Room was the perfect venue for our wedding(s) and reception. We had an Indian ceremony and a Christian ceremony on one side of the building and the reception on the other. We had approximately 175 guests and it felt like we had plenty of space for all the activities we scheduled. We loved that it was a blank canvas and we could transform it to what we wanted very easily with lighting and some decorations. The Empire Room team was great to work with, especially Jackie and Jayson (with Astounding Sounds for the lighting). It was also great having the outdoor space to utilize. The only negative I can think of, is we wish there had been a formal space for the groom to get ready/change between ceremonies. I would definitely recommend the Empire Room as a venue for your event/wedding.

    The ceiling is lower than I would have wanted and it's a little older, but the views are nice and you get a lot of extras.

    The minute my fiance and I looked at The Empire Room's website, we knew this HAD to be our wedding venue! The in-person tour confirmed our hopes for a romantic yet urban feel as well as a big space for our large guest list. The overall venue is a manageable size with lots of potential...you can definitely put your own mark on it. We were thankful for the indoor and outdoor spaces and used both on our rainy wedding day. Looking back at the weekend, the surprise venue bonus was the bridal suite. My entire bridal party was able to hang out and get ready all day without driving all over town. This perk saved my sanity (and our hair) since it was raining :). Jackie was great to work with and made communication with via email and phone seamless. My only piece of advice would be to find your own wedding planner. Rachel Reeves came recommended to me by the venue and we were extremely disappointed in her services. If I had to do it all over again, I would select The Empire Room in a heartbeat!!! A big thank you to Jackie and her team for making our day everything I pictured :)
