    The galleria Event and Conference Center

    Greg and kirsten (owner and coordinator) exceeded our expectations! This venue is very clean, staff was super friendly not to mention very professional and with the modifications, very safe planning a wedding durning a pandemic! Not to mention a DJ and catering is included, and you can bring your own Alcohol which is a huge plus because other vendors price their open bars for top self between $22-$27 per person for about 4-5hrs, a bit Ridiculous.

    I highly recommend Event Connections in Dayton for any event you are planning to host! The staff are wonderful to work with, and they have so many resources available! I’m a busy mom, night shift nurse and graduate school student and had very limited time to devote to wedding planning. Kirsten was an absolute angel for helping me plan, design, coordinate, decorate, find vendors… you name it, she helped with it! Quick and professional communication made things so much more efficient! Greg Cowger, the Director of Operations (and our officiant) was also a huge help and a great guy. From the first meeting, my husband and I knew that we loved the space and trusted Greg to help us make the event memorable. We were honored to have him officiate our ceremony as well, and he made our guests smile and feel at home. Being able to hold meetings and coordinate virtually every aspect of our wedding all at one site was such a timesaver! In total, the venue, wedding makeup, cake, music, DJ, officiant, decorations, lighting, catering, bartender, reception, ceremony site, and photobooth company ALL came from the Event Connections network. In addition, our photographer and florist work with E.C. frequently and were on a first-name basis with the coordinators. The familiarity helped everything run smoothly. The renovated galleria is a stunning space! With lights and linens, you can transform the room and make some real magic happen! The bridal suite upstairs is also a fantastic bonus! Three months later our guests are still telling us how much fun they had. Please don’t hesitate to call Event Connections to see the space and all their vendors – I’m so glad we chose them!!!

    We hired The Event Connections to set up our venue at Benham's Grove in Centerville OH. Yolanda and Corey from Party Pleasers worked hand in hand in the beginning to fill us with confidence that they would work to make this wedding a success. La Tashua was our bridal assistant for our wedding day. She met with us a few weeks before the wedding to go over every last detail. She is a beautiful person and just incredible at implementing all of the details of our set up which were many and very detailed. Can't say enough about how she made us feel so relaxed knowing that everything was taken care of and I had nothing to worry about. Thank you La Tashua and Yolanda for everything!

    My daughter and I did a DIY wedding, but I wanted to be able to enjoy the day so I hired Event Connections to provide me a Bridal Assistant for the day of the wedding to help get things set up and flow throughout the evening. As much of a control freak that I am, I was of course nervous to pass on control of setting up the reception area to someone else. After meeting with LaToshua and going over all my plans with her I felt a little better about turning over setup to her; she was able to tell me what I was missing and even help with the layout of the room (of which I had been struggling with). Needless to say, my control issues were entirely unfounded! LaToshua brought to life all the details my daughter and I had spent months putting together into something so amazing that I squealed with delight when I entered the reception area. During the reception, LaToshua made sure the DJ, photographer, and caterer were all informed and in-sync with all the events so that no one missed a thing!
    We also hired our officiant via a connection set up by Event Connections - it was a perfect fit. We did a steampunk themed wedding and wanted a Celtic handfasting done during the ceremony. The staff at Event Connections set up a meeting with Cindy Lee and the bride and groom connected with her immediately. It was a perfect fit!

    I just got married two weeks ago at a new venue in Miamisburg. I was referred to Party Pleasers via my photographer Lisa White. She told me if I want a party to definitely to go with them . I am so glad I listened to her referral. I booked with them and they made the process so easy ! They literally are a full service vendor! My husband and I wanted to make sure that our music and wedding wasn't lame. We couldn't have been more pleased. We booked our event with Tim ! We got so many compliments on his performance and how he kept the wedding moving. He truly listened to the kind of songs and feel we wanted and didnt stray from that . He really played music we wanted, not what he wanted to hear. He kept all of my guests on their toes. He stayed til clean up and made sure everything was perfect for my husband and myself and checked in with us constantly to see if we needed anything or wanted anything done differently. We also booked the outdoor package for the outdoor wedding with speakers and the microphone for the preacher and it was wonderful and worked great! All of our guests were able to hear everything and I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony or reception! Thanks Tim and thank you Yolanda !!! And everyone else at the Party Pleasers!!! Book with them ! You wont be disappointed!!!

    Yolanda was my brides assistant for the day of my wedding and I can't even begin to thank her enough for everything! Yolanda with the help of our Dj turned our wedding into something out of a fairy tale. I would recommend to anyone planning a wedding to hire a brides assistant, they make your day go so much smoother and there is no stress on making sure everything is picked up and set up on time!!

    Yolanda was amazing! She helped us get the ball rolling with all the vendors and gave recommendations of who to use and then continued to work with us down to the last detail to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of and more. She was incredibly professional and made sure to keep everyone on the same timeline the day of. I would highly recommend Yolanda and The Event Connections to any who is looking for a young professional who knows exactly how to make your wedding day a success!

    Yolanda at 'The Event Connections' was great! Both my daughter (the bride) and myself were so pleased with her service. She was willing to do whatever we needed and had many ideas for us when we felt like we couldn't make a decision:) I would be the first to say that I didn't think we needed to talk to anyone to ask for help; I'm so glad we did and so glad that we met Yolanda!! She is very personable and my daughter and I just love her! Thank you!!

    They help order linens and can help you find vendors if needed. The ceremony and reception are in the same room, so they have to set up the room in between events.

    Vending made easy

    We spoke to this vendor some time ago about choosing them for our wedding, they were professional, and I felt no pressure when speaking to them, they allowed me to tell them what I wanted, while also giving me much needed advice! (wedding is still in planning process)

    As a bride you expect to have a few bumps on your special day but not a mountain of disrespectfulness. I would like to encourage people not to use this establishment. I received horrible customer service and barely any assistance. Kirsten never came to the bridal suite to address me about the day or how things would flow. She did not play my slide show and she was of no assistance. The DJ played the music he wanted to play! The equipment was not performing properly so the music was muffled. I could go on all day but please think twice before spending $10,000 with The Event Connection.
