  Absolutely Perfect for a Country Wedding

  I cannot say enough about this venue - we recently had our wedding here and even with COVID and a little bit of rain, things went off perfectly and we had the wedding of our dreams.
  Paula and Carl are a dream to work with - very responsive and helpful both during the planning process and the day of coordination. They truly go above and beyond to help the bride, groom, family, and friends stay comfortable and have the day of their dreams.
  The venue itself is stunning and our guests raved about it all night. Both the outdoor and indoor areas show the beauty of the region and captured everything that we envisioned for our day.

  Amazing Venue!

  My now husband and I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the owners. Paula and Carl were amazing to work with from the first time I reached out for information. We visited and fell in love with what they had to offer for our dream wedding (including decorations). We were on a budget and I was concerned we wouldn't find a place we could afford. Once we visited the Farm Retreat at Willow Creek we knew this is where we were supposed to get married and the stars aligned. From the price, to the date, to the amazing owners and their pup Lucy, it was more than we ever could have dreamed.
  Our wedding day was better than I could have imagined thanks to Paula and Carl. Without them it would not have been the same. Their advice and assistance throughout the whole day and during the planning process made it so stress free, even when I was 45 mins behind schedule the day of.
  The scenery that surrounds the venue was perfect for our outdoor countryside wedding and provided awesome backdrops for our photographer. You will not be disappointed if you choose this venue. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is all you dreamed!

  Wonderful Venue!

  I can not say enough wonderful things about The Farm Retreat at Willow Creek! Our wedding was on 10/5/2019. This is such a beautiful place. The ceremony location and their gorgeous pond drew me in, but Paula and Carl (and I can't forget Lucy!!!) won me over! They are some of the most kind people I have met. They set up the chairs for our ceremony, they helped us set up the tables and chairs for our dinner, and when the weather was a little bit chillier than we expected Paula brought out wraps for our guests to use. I highly recommend everyone check them out! Thank you so much for everything, Paula and Carl (and Lucy!)

  Magical Perfection

  We were married September 22, 2018 under the glorious trees beside the mystical labyrinth at The Farm Retreat at Willow Creek outside Culpeper, VA. From our very first contact with Paula Stafford we knew we were in good hands and that all would be well. It was indeed. The venue, the staff, every element was perfection itself. In addition, it was fun, meaningful, and memorable.

  I cannot recommend Willow Creek enough. Rolling hills, green fields, a creek running to a quiet pond and all tucked away in the beautiful
  woods of Culpeper County. A covered pavilion provided the perfect area for our reception creating an open, yet elegantly styled party. A separate dance floor with space for the DJ was perfectly sized and sturdy (trust me we, we tested the hell out of it!) location for everybody to let loose and get down.
  
  Paula and Carl Stafford (the owners) we're a huge help throughout the entire process, especially on the day of the wedding. Paula's experience in theatre really shined when staging the reception area and she and her husband were always on call to help with anything and everything throughout the night. They were professional, extremely flexible and honestly a complete joy to work with. My wife and I enjoyed every interaction with these wonderful people and truly felt we were in good hands the entire time.
  
  If you are looking for a country wedding that's rustic but stylish, elegant but comfortable then I highly HIGHLY recommend Willow Creek. You won't regret it.

This was the first venue we visited and knew as soon as we met Paula and Carl and saw their beautiful property, we just KNEW this was where we wanted to get married. From the date we visited to the date of our wedding was a year and a half. As you can imagine, I had a ton of questions as the planning process was happening and Paula was the best and so quick to respond. Even up to the week of, I was emailing/calling to make sure I knew everything I needed to know. On the day of, Paula and Carl were WONDERFUL! They made everything so easy and so stress free. I honestly cannot remember a single problem that went wrong that day, and they were pivotal to that success. Easily the nicest most accommodating couple you could ever meet, and you can just tell this is a passion for them. The property is absolutely stunning, and guests and family could not stop complimenting on how much they loved it!!   My daughter Katelyn and her now husband Todd, chose this venue for their wedding on Oct 21st, 2017. I must say that Paula and Carl (owners) were so supportive and just truly lovely people. The farm is gorgeous and so very accommodating. We didn't want for a thing. One of the best parts is that we were able to decorate the pavilion the day before and boy, did that relieve a lot of our stress because we did it all ourselves. Paula even was on her 4 wheeler to take Katelyn's great Aunt and Uncle down to the wedding because they were late and frazzled and were afraid they were going to miss the ceremony! How is that for service? You will not go wrong if you choose this beautiful heartwarming venue!!! I am so happy they did!

  While searching online for venues in my area, The Farm Retreat popped up in my google search. I went on their website and was instantly intrigued.   Our wedding here was beyond mine and Ryan's imagination! We were looking for a venue that met the forest elegance style we were going for and this was the perfect combination! I can't say enough amazing things about Paula & Carl. They are the sweetest people and they would give you the shirt off their backs for you to have the wedding of your dreams! My friends and family said this is the best wedding they have ever been to! I can't say thank you enough!!!

  Our wedding here was beyond mine and Ryan's imagination! We were looking for a venue that met the forest elegance style we were going for and this was the perfect combination!   The wedding planning process could not have been easier with the Farm Retreat at Willow Creek! They were so accommodating and easy to work with! My wedding day was perfect thanks to all their hard work behind the scenes! They met with me multiple times to make sure everything was in place and aesthetically pleasing to the eye! She even called me to make sure my orders were correct when the rentals were delivered! I was so happy with how my wedding turned out. I would highly recommend this venue to other brides!

  We chose this venue for our reception because we wanted a fun, outdoor venue with fishing and fire. They delivered on epic proportions. The pond was fully stocked so plenty of people caught fish, everyone loved the fireplace, fire pits and couches. And it was perfect riding in on the back of the blue pick up trucks to one of our favorite songs! When it was all said and done people were telling us it was the best wedding they had been to. Paula was top notch

  This is a gorgeous venue! As the mother of the bride I am still on "Cloud 9" that my daughter's wedding was so beautiful. Paula and Clark were extraordinary in helping to pull it off-What wonderful memories were made!

Paula and Carl went above and beyond to help prepare for our big day, from factoring in the small things that we often forget about in the rush of the big day to making sure the farm is beautifully up kept and ready for the event. If I ever had any questions I could call or email and I always got a response within hours which really helped me out and made everything go smoothly. I can't say enough about how beautiful and great of an experience I had at my wedding here at Willow Creek.

They went above and beyond to make our day special and see to it that any last minute details were handled with care. Our day turned out fabulous, it was even better than I had ever imagined. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a stunning outdoor venue with great people to work with.

  This place is absolutely breath taking. It was so perfect for my husband and I. We had the best time of our lives. Everything was beautiful and put together so nicely. Paula and Carl did an amazing job and were so incredibly helpful and nice. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The property is just so amazing. They made all my dreams come true.

  We had our wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! Paula and Carl are the absolute best!! If you are looking for a quaint serene spot with several reception options and a beautiful ceremony spot, look no further. The rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in are awesome as well! It may sound too good to be true, but you really have to see it to believe it. This was the first and only venue we checked out and it just felt right. They really make you feel right at home!

  We just had our wedding at The Farm Retreat at Willow Creek. I cannot say enough about the absolutely wonderful owners who were a joy to work with, their wonderful friends who help with wedding day logistics, and the most serene setting I could have imagined our wedding. This was the first and last wedding venue we looked at. It was exactly what we were looking for! Our guests had a great time with fishing, croquet, corn hole and topped the evening off with a bonfire and s'mores under October stars. I really wanted a venue that all members of our friends and family including lots of little ones would have a great time together and this was the perfect location! Thank you Paula and Carl for working so hard to create this special wedding venue!

  I loved everything about The Farm Retreat. It was beautiful, the owners went above and beyond to make my day perfect, and the atmosphere was everything I wanted. Beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding with an awesome covered pavilion to hold the reception. Perfect venue for a perfect day!

  i can't say enough about Paula and Carl and the Farm Retreat at Willow Creek!! They definitely have what it takes to be hosts on such an important occasion. They are gracious, warm and welcoming. From the first phone call to our departure from the venue after the wedding, they did everything they could to get things together and make the day perfect.
  Their location in the Virginia countryside is beautiful. The venue itself offers everything you could possibly ask for if an outdoor wedding is what you want. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful place it was for the wedding.The photo opportunities are varied and numerous. The covered pavilion is large, with plenty of seating and room left for dancing. There is also a brand new dance pavilion with even more room for dancing. I personally loved the comfortable, cushioned seating area! I stretched out there and could have easily taken a catnap. The grass area saw some stiff cornball competition. The groom enjoyed fishing in the pond before the event since he wasn't allowed to see the bride. Many of the guests enjoyed just strolling around the Retreat taking the chance for personal photos.
  All in all....the perfect place for an absolutely perfect wedding!!! Thank you Paula and Carl for everything. You guys rock!!!

If you are looking for a dream location in a country setting with plenty of open space, personalized service and a great team to back you up, look no further.

  Perfect Setting for a Perfect Day

  The Farm Retreat at Willow Creek was such a great venue for our outdoor wedding. Paula was extremely helpful throughout the process and responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. When my mom and I first visited the farm we said to each other that the grounds had such a calming energy, and I knew that's where I wanted to get married. Paula was helpful with all of the details leading up to the big day and also on the day of. Her husband Carl was also helpful and kept the grounds looking spectacular and lit all of the fire-pits for our evening reception.
