User3008310 Sent on 03/20/2017The owner is literally the sweetest lady you will ever meet! And she made the best cake ever! We had 3 layers 2 chocolate and one yellow butter. We had a strawberries and cream filling and a white chocolate mouse icing! Too die for! -

User1695988 Sent on 07/05/2014Laura was a dream to work with. My daughter went in with a few ideas for her wedding cake and the groom's cake. Laura took the best parts of each and came up with a perfect design for both cakes. Her cakes are also absolutely delicious. The cakes arrived as agreed to on the day of the wedding, and we had more than enough to serve everyone. I would recommend the Flour Garden to anyone needing cakes of any kind.

It was a long first year waiting to eat that top tier!!! She really came through with the grooms cake; it was a fish fanning a bed for his lady fish = D -

Cheryl Sent on 12/16/2014Just beautiful! Beyond beautiful.. delicious! We requested a very specific Grizzlies cake to surprise my husband with, and it was exactly as I wanted. Our wedding cake we wanted to be very simple, so we didn't get to use her talents to the FULL potential I suppose when it comes to decorating, but it was so, so good. What's even cooler about the Flour Garden is on your 1st anniversary, you can pop by and take a "top layer" in the flavor of your wedding cake home, so you don't have to eat crusty old freezer-burned cake. All in all, amazing. Would recommend to anyone.. except my enemies...... just saying! :D -

Not only were the cakes identical the pictures we had brought in to show her, but they tasted AMAZING!!! In fact, we tried to save the top tier (for our 1 year wedding anniversary) but decided to eat all but a slice of it the next day because the cake was so good!! Laura is a master at her craft, and I would 100% use her again for any event a cake was needed!! She delivered beyond what we could have hoped for! -

My daughter wanted real flowers on her cake until she saw the sugar flowers created by Laura and her team. So lifelike, you would never guess they weren't real. After tastings with several other bakers that had good cake I finally asked my daughter what she was looking for, cake was cake! What she wanted was to bite into the cake and be able to say that was the best cake she ever tasted. I completely understood when we went to the tasting at The Flour Garden! It really is the best cake I have ever tasted. -

User2622606 Sent on 05/26/2016Laura is so amazingly talented and she creates absolutely drop-dead gorgeous cakes! My husband and I compared photos of cakes with sugar flowers from various cake people in the area and Laura's flowers and foliage blew everyone else's out of the water (we knew we wanted her from the start, but it was fun to see how others stacked up). We met only a handful of times, and exchanged a few emails and photos, to come up with a plan for the look of the cake--we had a pretty vague idea of what it would look like, but the final result was absolutely stunning. Our guests could not believe that the flowers on the cake were all sugar work and we are still getting compliments about how beautiful it was. The cake was pretty tasty--the icing was just a little salty (or maybe a little too buttery?), but still sweet and the perfect texture, and the cake was so moist. She provided us with a cake stand and delivered the cake to our venue, which was so helpful. She can be a little hard to reach--phone seemed to be the best way to get her--but she was always great about finding time to meet and answer questions. The cost of the cake can also add up quickly, especially as you add more flowers (which take so much time and patience to make), but it's well worth the cost for a stunning and tasty cake that will make your guests swoon.
