    Ten Star Venue

The Flying Bride best 10 stars! We hosted our wedding event here on Mother's Day weekend. Everything was PERFECT. We chose the venue for its great location and views, but were spectacularly impressed with the quality of the food, and service! The Gold Reception dinner was over-the-top for presentation and quality. The Viennese Table (a pastry buffet) was a decadent display of truly wonderful desserts. I chose mini grilled cheese sandwiches for a late-night snack, and they were adorably delicious. Brie was a pleasure to work with. All of her advice was spot-on, and I am glad that I listened. All the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. This is the second wedding that I have hosted; in my opinion the Flying Bridge prices are quite reasonable. For what they deliver in value, everyone thought that we spent twice as much! As an aside, I was worried about people feeling "left out" in the most rear three tables, but the people that were there said that they liked their "quiet corner!"

We hosted our welcome dinner at the Flying Bridge this September and the food was outstanding. We had our own space in the back, and the food was top notch. Service was on point and professional. Thank you!

I cannot say enough great things about the Flying Bridge. We got married here on 9/3/17 and had our ceremony and reception at this location. Brie, the wedding coordinator, was so on top of things despite having a stressful role as event manager. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and so easy and fun to work with. During the planning phase, she would always respond to our non-urgent calls within a day, and would always have our wedding details laid out in front of her whenever we spoke. Her service on the day of, however, was unparalleled and worthy of so much praise. She met me (the bride) upon my arrival, made sure we ate dinner, was always visible and available yet never in the way. She even went out of her way the day before the wedding to buy sand for one of our decorations, which I forgot to pack. In addition to Brie, the ENTIRE staff - from the hostess to the servers to the bartender - was friendly, quick, and efficient. The food was INCREDIBLE - we got so many compliments from our guests, many of whom said it was they best wedding meal they've ever had. All of this, mind you, is in addition to the view this place has - which speaks for itself. The upstairs function room is private, spacious, and pretty customizable in terms of linens, decor, etc. These people are happy to work with you and create your perfect day, instead of focusing on things like cake cutting fees and other minutia that so many other venues nickle and dime you for. I truly cannot say enough good things and am so happy that we chose Flying Bridge for our most important day.

The Flying Bridge and everyone there went above and beyond for me. They responded to phone calls and emails promptly, answered any questions with ease, and are wonderful the weekend of the event. They set everything up just as I envisioned and helped out continuously throughout the wedding. Jenna, one of the wedding supervisors, even helped me with my bustle and made sure my husbands and i's food was kept warm for us. The wedding was perfect because of the hard work they put in! Plus the view is gorgeous!

TFB was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible. The service impeccable We worked with both Tyler and Jeff and they made sure that everything we wanted for our day was achievable. So many people came up to us and said it was one of the best weddings they had attended. We chose to have the stations and it was the BEST decision. FYI, go for the mashed potato bar!

We had our wedding on their patio overlooking the harbor. Wonderful food, service, and view. I highly recommend "The Flying Bridge" for any occasion.

Perfect. Laura was such a big help coordinating all the little details and keeping everything running smoothly. The views were incredible, the food was fantastic, the service was amazing. We got so many "this was the best wedding"s, I seriously lost count. Great for planning from afar (did everything from the West Coast) and for those that don't want to decorate too much. The harbor is a centerpiece in and of itself. So much fun. Highly recommended to all!

Our wedding was everything I could have dreamed of at The Flying Bridge! Tyler was extremely helpful in organizing all of our details and answering any questions that we had during the planning process. The venue is gorgeous - with amazing views and the best location! Everyone commented on how fantastic the food was - we served baked stuffed lobster and filet. Our family and friends were blown away. From start to finish it was the best day ever, and we could not have chosen a better location than The Flying Bridge!

We had a wonderful August wedding at the Flying Bridge for a venue! I can’t say enough about our experience from start to finish. Brie, our wedding planner, was a total gem - making sure our wedding felt like “us”, double-checking every detail, and on the day of made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. The food was raved about by our guests (brides, please remember to eat! Haha) and it’s the type of venue you can make as casual or fancy as you’d like. I was nervous at first that without AC in the main venue space (its covered entirely but open air, giant windows, wrap around deck etc) I was going to melt in my ballgown, but it was very very comfortable and guests had no complaints. Plus, for a Cape Cod wedding, the pricing is incredibly fair (we had a Saturday wedding And got to stay well within our budget!)
THANK YOU to Brie and the Flying Bridge for nailing our big day!

    The Flying Bridge's reply:

Thank you Caitlin for your positive remarks. It was a pleasure working with you and Tim.

Our wedding here was awesome! The views are great! The food was 5 star! The ceremony area was really much quieter than I thought it would be too. Some very minor complaints - we didn't have the champagne for the toasts, oh well the night goes on. The staff was trying to talk to guest during the toasts. Anyways it was the best night ever and I would do it all again if I could! The staff is really fun and danced with us all too.

We held our wedding on October 4, 2014. The Flying Bridge (namely our coordinators Tyler and Jeff) were INCREDIBLE. Being off-season Jeff and Tyler were very accommodating as far as the time and length of our rehearsal. They were in constant communication and made everything seamless.

We opted for no seating assignments and a station dinner. What you pay is NOTHING compared to what you receive. The food is amazing and endless. Nothing ever runs out, ever. We had 130 guests and it was a perfect size venue. I could not be happier with the quality of service.

My suggestion for any bride/groom holding a station wedding here would be to let people know what the station options are ahead of time and during. They are very spread out and there is so much food choices that a station can be missed.

Everyone here was great gorgeous setting!! Very reasonable in price too! However my only complaint would be they kind of rushed everything at the end by just packing up tables before people could get there favors because they were dancing, and removing center pieces that had candles in them before the wax could cool and it got every where :/ However they set up everything beautifully and I would definitely go back there if I did it again!

Overall our wedding at the Flying Bridge was great. Our Day of Coordinators - Jess and Jeff - were a little rusty during our rehearsal (it took them a bit to figure out the order of who walked down when, etc) but to be fair it was one of the first weddings of the season. They were both incredibly friendly and really made me confident that they would make sure things would flow really well. The food was also absolutely delicious.

We worked with Tyler leading up to the wedding and he was always responsive on e-mail and in person was helpful during our planning meeting. I had my own Day of Coordinator who said he wasn't very friendly when she was just trying to execute some of my requests. His e-mails were also very brief, and sometimes I would have to ask him the same question a couple times before I got the right answer. He could definitely improve on his Customer Service tone. If I worked with someone friendlier leading up to the wedding (maybe Jeff or Jess!) I would give this venue 5 out of 5 stars.

Let me preface by saying I work at a very high end wedding venue in Boston and am used to a certain level of service & attention to detail. With that being said - overall I had a positive experience at the Flying Bridge. It is a great value for those not wanting to spend a fortune on their wedding. The food is good, views beautiful and servers/bartenders were excellent. I worked with Tyler throughout the process. I didn't find him very responsive and found myself emailing him multiple times to get answers. I met Jenna at the rehearsal who was great to work with- I wish she had been pulled in on the planning process earlier as it seems like Tyler has too much going on.

I left very specific instructions with my decor/gift card table items/etc and things were not set up properly. On the deck, at the outside tables they tipped the chairs against the tables (I assume to keep the linens from flying away during the day) but did not fix the chairs prior to the reception starting. Nor were any of the votives on the outdoor tables lit. I rented additional high tops and they were not placed where I had specified on the floor plan- instead causing a bottle neck near the photo booth. I understand these are small things that most likely only I noticed but when you spend months planning the details you want them to go according to plan. Overall it seems that the Flying Bridge has the cookie cutter wedding thing down and wants to replicate the exact same thing every weekend. If you want to change something they weren't very helpful and when it comes down to it they just end up doing what they want.
