From the first time we visited snow covered Grafton, Vermont, we knew it was the place. We were met with the utmost professionalism and service during the planning process and throughout the enitre wedding weekend. The communication and hours of detail Olivia, Roma and the ENTIRE Inn team put in was truly remarkable. There was not one miss-step and everything went seamlessly thanks to the Grafton Inn team. Our families were overcome with joy and many of them are planning trips in the future.
We can’t forget the food - wow were we blown away. Every meal we had was beyond fabulous. Thank you to the Chef’s and waitstaff.

My husband, Stephen and I got married at the Grafton Inn this past November and we could not have asked for a better experience. Everything about our time at Grafton Inn exceeded our expectations. The venue was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. Most of all we want to mention how amazing Roma and Olivia were during the whole wedding process. Throughout the planning they answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. Working with them was a pleasure every step of the way. Every detail about Grafton Inn was perfect. The food was delicious from dinners at the Phelps Barn pub to the wedding appetizers, dinner, and our wedding cake. All of our guests could not stop talking about how great everything was and would like to thank Roma and her team for all of it. 10/10! The best!

We knew the Grafton Inn was the right venue for us the moment we stepped into the town. Olivia, Roma, and the rest of the staff at Grafton are truly wedding experts. As an out of state bride, I took comfort in knowing that Olivia and Roma had things handled. They were responsive, helpful, and kind in all communications. The Grafton Inn and staff helped make our fall wedding dream a reality. They were very accommodating to our needs and provided instant feedback to any questions or concerns. They took care of all the decoration set up and tear down and shared our vision for the whole weekend. They provided extra amenities free of charge and were even able to make our welcome party talent show a success. The staff was very responsive to any dietary restrictions. We couldn’t ask for a better venue/team/staff members to make the weekend perfect!

During the planning process, whenever we asked can we do this or that, the answer was always a resounding yes, followed up with what can we do for you to make your wedding experience the best. This team met and exceeded all of our needs and expectations. The time and effort they put into the entire weekend was truly remarkable. They worked tirelessly with us to bring our vision to life and were so attentive to and anticipated our every need. They went out of their way to ensure our wedding day and stay was perfect.

This quintessential Vermont village is so inviting, it’s like stepping back in time. We had the full property package due to the size of our wedding and had the entire town to all to ourselves. We tried to explain to our family and friends what the experience in this small out of the way town was all about. Once everyone started arriving to town, they soon understood what we were talking about. You arrive, park your car for the weekend, settle in, unplug and enjoy what this beautiful village has to offer. The rooms at the Inn, Annex and houses of the Inn are all unique in their own right. Nothing is cookie cutter about this property and all of the accommodations are so nicely appointed. The amenities were many. Our guests hiked, biked, roamed trails, shopped for local gifts and cheeses and gathered at the Grafton Marketplace. We were blessed with 80 degree weather during our September wedding weekend, so many of our guests took advantage of some early fall dips in the swimming pond.

We must give the food an A+ too! From the delicious rehearsal dinner catered at our house, to the welcome party at the Phelps barn with an abundance of scrumptious hearty appetizers, to full delicious breakfasts served daily in the garden room at the Inn and the outstanding wedding meal served to 200 guests under our tent down by the river, was spot on. Everyone raved about the food!

It been almost 4 weeks since Kevin and Erin tied the knot and everyone is still saying that ours was one of the best wedding weekends they have ever attended. We have to agree! Honestly, there’s no place like Grafton. It’s feels like home. You feel and are treated like family! We cannot wait to go back!

My wife and I got married at the Grafton Inn this past August. We chose the venue due to having family in Grafton and because we fell in love with the rustic charm of the town and Inn. I come from a big family, so the planning process was no small task. The Grafton Inn team; Olivia, Angela, and Roma, were an absolute pleasure to work with, exemplifying professionalism, responsiveness, kindness, and enthusiasm at every step. They helped make the wedding planning go as smoothly as possible, providing a list of excellent vendors, checking in with us regularly, and helping resolve any issues as they arose. The weekend of our wedding saw some inclement weather, but Angela and Roma reassured us and walked everyone in the wedding party through the plan if rain came. We also had a last-minute addition of two guests, which they were very kind to accommodate. On the day of our wedding, we were blessed with beautiful weather. From start to finish, the entire day went as smoothly as we could have hoped for, with the entire Gratfon Inn team running a seamless operation. Everything from the ceremony to the food, music, and atmosphere was sublime. The Grafton Inn team not only helped us have an incredible day, they seemed to genuinely enjoy it themselves. Feedback from our friends and family has been overwhelmingly positive, with many saying ours was the best wedding they had ever attended. My wife and I could not be happier with our experience and strongly recommend booking the Grafton Inn to anyone hoping to have an intimate, joyous, and meaningful wedding.

We wanted to have a wedding that was warm and romantic, and the first time we saw the Grafton Inn and walked through the town we could feel the warmth and romance. We knew we loved the site, but meeting Olivia and Angela sold us on it. The team at the Grafton Inn is unmatched. Olivia and Angela responded to what felt like a million emails, Jennifer sent us updates on reservations every time we asked, and the entire staff was incredibly gracious and welcoming when we brought parents to see the inn before the wedding. Olivia and Angela’s warmth and professionalism reassured us throughout the wedding planning process that we made the best possible decision to have a wedding at the Grafton Inn.

The wedding weekend itself felt like magic. I am a frazzled person. I am not laid back. But as soon as we touched base with Olivia, Roma, and Angela when we arrived at the Grafton Inn for the weekend, we were able to turn things over to them and genuinely enjoy the weekend. From the welcome party to our departure on Sunday, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Having our friends and family on-site for the weekend meant more time just being with them and hanging out, and we’re so grateful to have had that opportunity. We loved our wedding, and we’re so excited to come back to Grafton in the years to come.

Working with Roma, Olivia and Angela was seamless! From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding weekend was exactly how we envisioned it to be. What impressed us the most was how thoughtful and helpful they were -- we had an intimate, private ceremony in the Grafton woods followed by a beautiful wedding reception at the inn -- and they were very helpful with advice for timing, coordination of our welcome entrance, and making sure the décor was exactly how we wanted it to be. Also, as an LGBTQ couple, the Grafton Inn (and Grafton!) was incredibly open and welcoming. The trio of Roma, Olivia and Angela were always open, kind and inclusive. The minute I stepped foot in Grafton I knew it was where I needed to have my wedding. The town itself is quintessential New England and the inn is gorgeous in every way. From our first meeting to the weekend of my wedding, Olivia, Angela & Roma went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. They continuously answered my endless emails, helped on site to unload all of our cars, helped to accommodate our flowers, were exceptional to our guests, and helped to make all the details of the wedding weekend come to life. Having our wedding at the Grafton Inn was like having a town all to ourselves. It was beyond special to host yoga on the property and watch as my family and friends biked around town to swim in the swimming hole or walk to local trails. It truly was so magical. Our wedding weekend will forever be one of my favorite memories and I continuously get told it was the “best wedding they’ve ever been to” from countless people.

The Grafton Inn made planning for our special day so easy! They communicated with us consistently throughout the year to make sure every detail was covered. They truly made us feel so special throughout the planning process, and like we were the only ones there every time we visited. On the weekend of the actual wedding, there was always someone there to make sure things were running smoothly. Everything flowed beautifully, and we got amazing reviews from our guests. As someone who is not very detail oriented, I loved working with Olivia, Angela and Roma who made sure nothing was forgotten throughout the entire process. If we could do this 100 times over we would, it was the best experience! If you’re looking for a little getaway for your wedding, the Grafton Inn is the place to go. We will definitely be back to visit!

Working with the wedding coordination team at Grafton Inn was awesome. They were responsive to my emails and had answers to all of my questions. They never responded in a way that made me feel like a burden, and throughout the experience I felt valued by them. They catered to our requests as much as possible and made the event feel like it was our own unique experience. The day of the event, the team was on the spot with all the details and everything went off without a hitch. It was so under control that I was able to relinquish control over the details in my own mind, which allowed me to be present for the full event. I highly recommend working with Grafton Inn. Not only is the venue and surrounding area beautiful, but the team is friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking.

The Grafton Inn is a magical place in a stunning Vermont setting, but it is the people working there who made us feel like our wedding was the only one they hosted that year. Olivia worked with us on all the details leading up to our wedding. She has a warm communication style and an amazing attention to detail . We found out a week before our wedding that Olivia had to tend to personal matters and would not be our point person at our wedding . Angela seamlessly stepped into this role and ensured that our wedding day was about as perfect as a day could be . She lead the rehearsal for the ceremony the night before and even packed my bags of confetti. Angela was always there when we needed her. We can't wait to return to the Grafton Inn!

I would 100% recommend the Grafton to anyone who wants to get married in Vermont. I live in upstate New York, and this was the perfect short weekend getaway wedding destination. The staff was amazing. The people at the front desk helped my grandparents in with their luggage. They were the first to arrive and even though they don’t have a valet service, it was always service with a smile. The town itself is so charming, when you’re just walking around the people who live in the town are so nice to you so you don’t feel like a stranger. The wedding coordinators, were beyond amazing and continued to impress us all the way until the end of our stay. We were lucky enough to pick the perfect weekend. We had the beautiful cherry blossoms trees in full bloom and held our wedding in the community garden. It felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. If an intimate wedding is the feel that you’re going for, The Grafton Inn is the perfect place to do it. From rehearsal, to ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and getting your groove on in the Phelps barn. They really do it all. I had a lot of special requests, and some of my wedding details were very untraditional yet I was still assisted every step of the way. The Grafton Inn helped make my wedding the best day of my life. The number one comment I get from guests who attended my wedding was that it was the best wedding they had ever attended besides their own. I hold that comment very dear to my heart and would not have been able to do everything I did without the help of The Grafton Inn!

There is not enough space to give the Grafton Inn the praise it deserves. My wife and I knew it was “our” spot the moment we showed up.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and out of a postcard for pastoral bliss, the kind of place you return to after the wedding (as we’ve done) to enjoy the scenery and the inn’s charm. We loved that our very reasonable venue fee gave us the inn for the weekend, which essentially enabled us to rent a quintessential New England village for our wedding. That’s just amazing and a feature of the wedding guests still gush about! Our wedding was small and everyone who wanted to stay at the inn was able to, with the outdoor center even letting a family with a camper park their camper in their lot!

The wedding staff couldn’t have been better! Working with Olivia was like working with a friend we’ve known for years! She was helpful, organized, timely with responses to question, and a genuinely fun person to interact with, the type of person you’d want at your wedding as a guest and would be lucky to have as a wedding coordinator. Angela, the innkeeper, was delightful and ended up helping out a lot on the wedding day itself! All the servers were genuinely wonderful and smiling, truly happy to be with us. Recognizing we’d be busy during cocktail hour, our server for dinner placed a small plate of appetizers at our dinner table for my wife and me to enjoy in case we didn’t get the chance to indulge during cocktail hour. It was an incredible gesture and one that showed how well the staff treats the guests. We were also excited to have the app plate because what chef Cal cooked for our tasting meal ahead of the wedding was as good as the feast that was served on the wedding. We had a lot of foodies present for our wedding and several were rendered speechless by the quality of the food!

When the day ended and my wife and I walked back to where we were staying, we looked up and were treated to an amazingly clear night’s sky filled with stars, a perfect ending to a perfect day that I’d change nothing about!!

Our experience with the Grafton Inn was truly remarkable. From the moment we reached out to Olivia that we wanted to move forward with having our wedding at this venue, everything ran smoothly. Both wedding coordinators, Olivia and Roma, were incredibly responsive, often getting back to our emails within the day. The Inn was even more beautiful on the day of our wedding than when we had toured the site, and we were thrilled with all of the accommodations for ourselves and our guests. What really made the wedding day special was the staff at the Inn, everyone treated us cordially and went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests enjoyed the weekend. For us, it was important to have a wedding location where we were close to all of our family and friends, so that we could enjoy their company in the days leading up to, and following, the ceremony. Grafton was the perfect venue for this purpose, everything was walking distance, charming, and logistically apt for a wedding. We couldn't speak higher of the venue and staff!

I don’t even know where to start. From the moment we got to Grafton Inn for our tour we knew it was a one of a kind venue. Olivia was our wedding planner/coordinator and she was AMAZING! She was always so quick and punctual while responding to questions, never making us feel uncomfortable or worried the entire time. Her organization skills are impeccable making the days leading up to our wedding so easy and helping mitigate my husband and I sitting in the unknown or fear we were forgetting something. All the staff at Grafton Inn are amazing as well and they truly care about you and your family. Not once did I feel my husband and I made the wrong decision picking Grafton Inn. We are so excited that Grafton Inn will always be a place we can visit and reminisce about.

We could not have been happier with our wedding at the Grafton Inn! As we are not big into event planning and live in Texas, we were looking for an all-inclusive venue that handled catering, lodging, and coordination and the Grafton Inn was the perfect fit. We opted for one of the winter micro-wedding packages, which was perfect for our 60 guests. A number of our friends had never been to Vermont, and Grafton really provided the quintessential experience, with the cheese shop and sugar house down the street, the trail center, and the quaint downtown. Olivia, the wedding director, was so helpful and wonderful to work with and all of the staff were super friendly. It really is the perfect wedding venue, and we could not recommend it more!!

Olivia, Angela and all of the Grafton staff are absolute rockstars.

From the time we met Olivia to tour the property we knew The Grafton would be a fit. The buildings are classic and unpretending, the staff is charming, food is delicious, and at no point did we feel pressured into adding things to our weekend we didn’t need.

The Inn is also well-connected to the local meeting house and other vendors, so the entire weekend was easy on us and our guests. Everyone who attended the wedding said it was fun, easy and cozy which was exactly what we wanted in our Vermont winter wedding. The town is just far enough off the beaten path compared to nearby Ludlow or Stratton so it has a more low-key feel, but still convenient for out of town guests who have to fly into Hartford or Burlington and easily accessible from Route 11 and 35 which are paved and always safe to drive.

We can’t wait to celebrate anniversaries at this place. Highly recommend to anyone considering a wedding in Vermont.

We had an excellent experience with our wedding here. The burden of having to plan every little detail was lifted by Olivia, our wedding coordinator. We chose the food, wine, apps, basic color schemes and locations and everything was handled for us. It was great. Our family and close friends stayed for two nights and everyone said they had a great time, and best of all they were even able to bring their dogs since Grafton Inn has dog friendly rooms. We were pretty flexible with what we wanted but there seemed to be some flexibility with choices and timing because we had such an intimate wedding but we aren’t groomzillas so it wasn’t a huge deal. It was nice getting married in front of the fire place and having a cocktail hour prior to dinner in the little bar in front of the fireplace at the old pine bar was super nice too. Everything was still decorated for Christmas, including the town, so we were able to have a snowy, cozy winter wedding and it was perfect. I have no complaints, everything went smoothly, planning was super easy and it was a lovely little wedding that didn’t destroy our bank account. (Which means a nice honeymoon and an extra international trip this year) Also this location is gay friendly and we had zero problems as a same sex couple getting married here.

My partner and I got married at the Grafton Inn in January 2024 and it was incredible. We opted for the micro wedding package as we were looking for a small/intimate affair and the Inn absolutely delivered.

From the initial contact with Oliva (their wedding curator) in July of 2023 to the actual wedding everything was seamless! Wedding planing is often seen as this massive anxiety-inducing affair, but with Oliva, as a guide, this was not the case at the Grafton Inn. She took care of most everything for us, from dealing with the florals, and table settings, to helping us with the final touches before the ceremony. All we had to do was make a few decisions and Olivia literally took care of the rest.

I can't recommend the Grafton Inn and Oliva enough.

From our first meeting with Olivia, the wedding coordinator for the Grafton Inn, to end of the wedding night, she made planning a wedding weekend very easy and stress free, giving us the wedding we both have been dreaming of.
My husband and I had a very clear vision how we wanted the weekend to flow and give our guests the best possible experience.
The Grafton Inn is in the center of a small quiet town and most buildings around the main Inn are owned by the Grafton Inn. It really felt like we had "rented" the town of Grafton for two days.
We fell in love with the idea that we were the only bride and groom all weekend and that our guests were basically the only people throughout the whole Inn.
From Rehearsal Dinner, full breakfast each morning, Welcome Reception the Friday night before the wedding, to the main event, the food and service was 5 stars. Over a month later, we are still getting comments from our guests about our wedding being the best they have ever attended.
They worked with us on making sure our wedding dream did come true. We wanted to be outside and getting married in December, they worked with us until the very last minute to make sure that happened. It was not like your traditional wedding, where you are in one banquet hall all night.
Each event space brought its own magic and beauty.
Olivia and her staff listen to everything that we wanted. Walking into each space, it was like she had read our minds and set up the spaces just as we would have if we had done it ourselves. They even broke everything down for us to make it super easy to pack up on Sunday morning and go back home.

When my now husband and I looked around at venues we stumbled upon the Grafton Inn through an innocent Google search little did we know that we had found a magical slice of New England heaven. Every single one of our guests raved about the venue from the location, the vibe, the food, the accommodations, and especially, the staff, and we could not agree more. We worked closely with Olivia and Angela throughout our planning process, and we even able to store items for the wedding at the venue in advance of our big day. They also helped us source just about all of our vendors. They made sure that everything was seamless. When we arrived on the Thursday before our wedding festivities, we had a car load of extra decorations and little things for the weekend. I dropped them off with Olivia and did not have to lift another finger. Olivia even had things waiting for me when I arrived that I needed to hand off to our florist without even having told her about the meeting. She knew what I needed before I even asked and was ready to provide all (because there were quite a few) last minute requests. You do not need a wedding planner or coordinator - Angela and Olivia already have you covered. This place is beautiful and underneath it’s beauty is a well oiled machine staffed with some of the kindest, warmest souls to help bring all the magic (Joanna and Jennifer also included). We did not worry about a single thing the whole weekend. It was perfect. We just got to enjoy and we knew all of our guests were being taken care of to the highest of standards. All of our guests at the Sunday brunch were talking about how this had been the best wedding they had ever attended and that the venue was magnificent. They were talking about making plans to come back on their own they loved it so much! We were looking for a cozy, classic New England venue and this was it and more. The place feels like a warm hug. The town is all yours to enjoy for your celebrations and you get to enjoy it along with all your guests. It was perfect. I wish we could do it all over again. We and all of our guests are obsessed with the Grafton Inn and the wedding they orchestrated for us. We could not have asked for a better place or people to put in charge of the celebration to ring in our next chapter together. I can’t say enough thank yous to the Grafton Inn and all their staff.
