    Amazing -top to bottom!

    Chris and his team did an amazing job with our reception. From initial contact to our big day they were extremely responsive and were willing to help with some of the details of our vision including setting up chargers and napkins. They were super helpful throughout the night, even coming up to my wife and I several times specifically asking if we needed anything to extra to eat or drink. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cozier place and a very attentive staff! Also, this place was gorgeous - the stained glass and wonderful woodwork meant we didn’t have to do much in terms of decorating.

    Underrated - don't over look the Grand!

    From the get go, Chris and the Grand were so amazing to work with. He worked with us on dates, pricing, food, and everything!. He answered my 1,000 questions, let us come back multiple times and let us taste the incredible food! The most important part is yet to come. Wedding day. The folks at the Grand were unbelievably great! Dinner was delicious and the plated dinner was served quickly to all 175 of our guests. They cleared it as people finished, but it never felt like they were loud or in the way or anything. I got tons of compliments all night about how beautiful the hall was and how great the layout is. The bar is set away from the rest and it actually makes the party feel less congested! We loved everything about the Grand Banquet Hall and would choose it again and again! One stop shop - they took care of the venue, bar, food, servers, bartenders, table setting, etc. It felt like we should have been paying twice the price, but it was much more reasonable and affordable. Thank you to Chris and his wonderful team.

    100% with our wedding reception!

    We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at Grand Banquet Hall! Chris and the staff were excellent to work with. They helped us have exactly what we wanted and were wonderful in helping us make good decisions for a positive night of the event. The food was amazing - people still talk about it! Their prices were also very reasonable. Overall a wonderful experience!

    I can't say enough good things about the Grand. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is exceptional, the food is incredible. Chris (venue Manager) was prompt to respond to my phone calls and emails, answered all our questions, worked with our unique needs, and took such good care of us. The staff the day of was beyond amazing and made sure everything went smoothly and my Dad (the go-to man for the evening) and I never had to worry or think twice about a thing! The food though was seriously SO GOOD! Every single person I talked to before and after the wedding (I'm not exaggerating) told us how our wedding food was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding!! We could not have been more thrilled with how our reception turned out and it was all thanks to the Grand and their incredible team!

    The Grand was a great place to have my reception, and it holds Minnesota's largest stain glass collection, so it was beautiful too. The only thing I did not like was, I could not have an outside caterer, or bring in my own alcohol...so everything was a bit over priced. The food was delicious though, and the room charge was really cheap too.

    Very professional servers and good food, but doors were not unlocked when they were supposed to be and some guests had to wait. Also, some minor details of food were different than we had chosen. But the service was good and everyone was very nice. Most plates were reasonable priced, too.
