I rarely write reviews, but Jon and the rest of the Grooveline team far exceeded expectations for our destination wedding in Cabo.

From the start, Laura the band's assistant director was highly organized and helped us with the quote, contract, and all commercial matters – everything was very straightforward and fair. We wanted a simple all-in quote with a single price including all travel and expenses. They delivered that and stuck to it without any “trickle costs” surfacing later. Other bands we spoke with during the quote process only wanted to quote a performance fee with additional travel and equipment rental expenses “to be determined” after contract signing, which creates unnecessary uncertainty for planning and budgeting. With Grooveline, we didn’t have to worry about any of that. Everything was known and agreed to upfront. They were extremely easy to work with.

We booked them “sight unseen”, meaning we had not heard the band play live in person until our wedding day. We assessed them based on YouTube videos and online reviews. Other bands “over produce” their online videos, so you really have to focus on separating the wheat from the chaff in terms of talent level of the vocalists and musicians. This can be a nerve-racking process chock full of second guesses, so let me put your mind at ease – the band looks and sounds absolutely amazing. We wanted a high energy party vibe, and they chose the perfect set list based on our loose guidance. We knew we made the right decision about 20 seconds into the first song of the night. Everyone was blown away and had a phenomenal night on the dance floor. The band’s performance was the highlight of the evening and an excellent way to cap off our wedding weekend.

If they are available for your date, just book them! You will not regret it. Thank you Grooveline!

The band played for our wedding reception.

The band was amazing!!!! They had everyone on the dance floor dancing, it made the reception! We had heard them before at another wedding and they were the first vendor we booked!

Wedding band

Groove line Dallas is by far the best wedding band I have ever experienced! They were so easy to work with and truly provided the most unforgettable experience for our wedding. The dance floor was jam packed all night and they played the absolute best music. I still have wedding guests raving about how fantastic they were! Highly recommend working with this band!

Packed Dancefloor!

We had a blast with The Grooveline’s 12-piece band at our wedding. So many guests have reached out to us after the wedding with compliments to the band. We had a packed dancefloor all night long! Also it was so nice that the band learned a couple songs that weren’t originally on their song list that are special to our family. Definitely recommend!

Best Wedding Band EVER!!

We were lucky enough to have The Grooveline perform at our wedding and they were simply incredible. Music is such an important part of a reception - it sets the tone and vibe for the night, and they did not disappoint. Our dance floor was packed the entire night as they crafted a lineup that was perfect for us and our guests and their energy and engagement was phenomenal. The Grooveline are true performers!! They were a HUGE part of what made our wedding an absolute blast and we are continuing to receive compliments on how we had "the best band ever"!

If you're looking at hiring The Grooveline and they have your date available, do not hesitate in booking them!! Hands down the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding day!!

The BEST and most fun band that had everyone on their feet!

The Grooveline Dallas had everyone on their feet dancing and singing. We are so happy we chose them for our special day and want to relive our celebration with them everyday. They were on the dace floor with us and kept the party going all night!

Best Wedding Band Ever

The band was spectacular, far exceeding our expectations. Many of our guests said The Grooveline was the best wedding band they ever heard. EVERYONE danced (and we are all old). Make sure you request Proud Mary. Even Tina Turner would be jealous.

We are so excited that we had Grooveline perform at our wedding. They made the party happen, and we will talk about them for years to come.

We began working with Jon and Laura a year before our event, and they were a pleasure to work with every time we spoke. Their prices and packages were totally transparent, and they helped walk us through a completely customized event so that we were comfortable with everything we needed.

The process leading up to the wedding was a breeze. We filled out some forms with our music preferences, had one final phone call to check-in, and that was it! We were able to relax and move on to other planning items because we knew we were in good hands.

During the reception and cocktail hour, Jon was an absolute professional with handling the microphones, music, and general MC work. Timing is critical in those moments, and everything was seamless.

When it came time for the party to start, we were absolutely blown away! The talent of this group is immeasurable. It felt like every person on that stage could sing, dance, play instruments, and generally just bring the energy that we wanted. It was as if we were at a concert with all the choreographed dances and outfit changes. They performed a variety of songs, and each one was exceptional and exactly what we had requested. We have never seen a band with that range and depth of abilities. Even the song that we requested them to learn was amazing and had every person on the dance floor.

As the night went on, the band encouraged us to get up on stage and join them, and they were extremely patient with us as we hogged the spotlight. It has been a couple of weeks since our wedding, and we still have people every day telling us how incredible our band was. We will recommend Grooveline to every single person we can.

Book them!!!

The Grooveline played at our wedding on 1/21 and they were AMAZING!!! Laura (manager) was so easy to work with, responsive, and easily answered any questions I had. Jon and the rest of the band were extremely entertaining and talented. I have seen many bands at weddings and they are by far better than the extremely expensive bands. We truly could not have asked for a better band to play at our wedding! They were so involved with all of the wedding guests and we loved how they played all of our important songs live rather than pre-recorded. Hire them for your wedding 100%!

Honestly, I did not know much about Grooveline when I booked them, but I am so glad we did go with them because I was absolutely blown away! Laura very responsive and so easy to work with, she even made accommodations for us no questions asked. And the band was absolutely amazing. They are incredible performers, engaged so well with the crowd, and got everyone on the dance floor! We got SO many compliments about the band. They truly made the night amazing!

NYE Wedding

The Grooveline Dallas made our wedding reception! They were so much fun, talented, and really had the party going all night. Their energy level was unmatched and we received innumerable compliments. My husband said it felt like we were at our own personal concert! We had such a fun time dancing the night away with the Grooveline. Our wedding would not have been the same without them.

Best band ever!

Grooveline is AMAZING!! This band was the talk of our reception. Even two days after the wedding, I had friends reach out to me and ask me who the band was because they had never heard such a great band. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. Book them as fast as you can!!!!

Choose this band if you want a fantastic wedding

We were so lucky to have The Grooveline Dallas celebrate with us for my daughter's wedding. You know they are good when every guest tells you this was the best wedding reception they have been to. Even out of town relatives who play in a band in New York said the 11 musicians we had were phenomenal. Thank you Jon for allowing us to hire you!

Absolutely unbelievable...Over the Top Great!!

Jon…and every member of Grooveline…Your performance for Katie and Kirk’s wedding this past Saturday evening was by far the BEST entertainment I have enjoyed for any event I have ever attended. Thank you for your rendition of Sweet Kathryn (to the tune of Sweet Caroline) for our father – daughter dance…it was amazing!! You and the band created so much energy that our guests could not get enough dancing and partying to your music! I simply do not know how the wedding could have been any better or more fun and the real credit goes to both the venue (Park City Club) and your performance. I wish we could do it all over again!! Jon…and every member of Grooveline…Your performance for Katie and Kirk’s wedding this past Saturday evening was by far the BEST entertainment I have enjoyed for any event I have ever attended. Thank you for your rendition of Sweet Kathryn (to the tune of Sweet Caroline) for our father – daughter dance…it was amazing!! You and the band created so much energy that our guests could not get enough dancing and partying to your music! I simply do not know how the wedding could have been any better or more fun and the real credit goes to both the venue (Park City Club) and your performance. I wish we could do it all over again!! An incredible band for an awesome black tie wedding.

We so enjoyed Grooveline this past Saturday evening.
Jenna's worries were quickly put to rest when the band started playing.
The dance floor was packed all evening and our guests are still talking about
how awesome Grooveline played.
What a hit. Even this "old" dad danced.

This is the band you want!

Choosing the Grooveline Dallas to be our wedding band was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. People that I've never seen dance in my life were out and about on the dance floor because of how amazing they were! They were so easy and amazing to work with from the very start. John and the team were absolutely the kindest people and incredible professionals! They kept such a great energy in the down moments but brought such life during the entire event! We could not have imagined our wedding without them - they definitely made the day 100x more special. Grooveline - Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts for just being so amazing, sounding fantastic and just bringing the energy - HIGHLY recommend, 10/10. If you want a wedding band, look no further, they WILL NOT disappoint you. They are the same folks you see in the videos and sound as incredible as you hear!

The best excellent

This ban is courteous and very professional. They were the talk of our wedding as everyone was on the dance floor to the very last song. Lead , Jon, is the best and so kind. They also went above and beyond and improvised on several songs that they don't usually play.

I highly recommend hiring Grooveline Dallas for your wedding. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Jon (the owner) communicated well leading up to our wedding and was attentive to every detail. The band was the highlight of the evening. Their energy was contagious and they played a wide variety of music to relate to all age groups. I received more questions about the band than anything else at our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!!
