  Walter and his crew did an amazing job on my wedding. I was impressed with the decorations, the service and the food was to die for! Thank you Groovey Grill for being a perfect part of my perfect day.

  I just had came back from my honeymoon after having my wedding and reception at this venue. While they do not offer a wedding coordinator, Angela, the person that assisted me from the beginning was extremely helpful in referring me to a person to make my cake and even cake topper. What I loved is that they were very flexible since the mansion is individually owned and not a chain. I made 3 different changes to my menu and even wanted a dish that was not offered and the chef prepared it! I requested a salad dressing normally not offered and the owner went and bought the dressing to accommodate us! The setting was beautiful and romantic and everyone was impressed. I loved being able to work directly with the owner because it was not part of a large chain. The reasonable price was what led us there but the service is why I would recommend it again!

  Things were a little rough at first because they had an incompetent person working for them. But she was later dismissed and things started to fall into place. The venue is beautiful but will require lots of love and care. I had a great experience and everything was perfect. The food was amazing, so we're the drinks, and everything was nice and clean and smelled amazing!! Thanks Mr. Strickland!!

  Dishonest and unprofressional!

  I would give them a 0 star if I could. They are liars, unprofessional, and will take your money and not answer your calls afterwards. Do not book your venue at this place Horrible business practices!

  I am very upset and heart broken by my experience with this venue. Two hours before my wedding the place was a complete mess. The table clothes where a completely different color from what we had discussed not to mention they where wrinkled. There was no runner as I walked down isle. They where suppose to spray for bugs and my beautiful dress was covered in insects. The sections for my family where not marked off. I also had to remind my coordinator several times to keep the wedding moving. She promised me the day would be all about me and when I showed up there was a whole wedding party rehearsing two hours before my wedding. I thought this would be the happiest day of my life but it was filled with disappointment.

  I would NEVER recommend this business for anyone who is planning an event. Their lack of urgency, non-responsiveness, and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. For someone who is planning the most important day of their life, a wedding, this is not the place you need to hold your reception/event.

  Terrible service. Wrinkled tablecloths with stains!!! Old plumbing and my guest stood backed up in line waiting on ONE OLD TOILET to flush before turning the bathroom over to the next person. We had to beg to use the bathroom upstairs that is apparently off limits...and I know why...clutter EVERYWHERE! Oh...the food...yeah not 5 star...that's for sure.This place is a joke for a professional establishment to have an event. WORSE DECISION EVER!!!

  Wow, the place itself is beautiful. But that is it the owner is grumpy and is not very accommodating , the woman Angela was and is absolutely rude and disrespectful she kept hitting on my husband going out of her way to claim she knew him which was highly unlikely because she is 40 and he is 26. She kept insisting that she knew him and asked him all type of questions while over talking me acting as if I was not even there. On top of all that we had to pay $750 deposit which is non- refundable before we even tasted the food which we did not like. All though the place is stunning and unique and location is perfect and easy to find we regret ever finding this place because I fell in love at first sight and to be angry,disrespected and treated as if my money wasn't good enough for good service is heart breaking. Brides if you do decide to have your event here, watch Angela she may try to run off with your groom. Extremely unprofessional .
