    we loved EVERYTHING about this venue! we used both the Attic and the Hansen Place for our wedding and Both are perfect. Autumn is easy to work with and very helpful.. she eve helped transport flowers from one venue to the other when our delivery went to the wrong place! I can not say enough good things about this venue!

    It was more than we expected everything was amazing. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to have a spectacular wedding.

    From start to finish the process was painless! By far the easiest part of the entire wedding! I would suggest this vendor to anyone looking for a classy but so personal wedding or any other event. It was PERFECT!

    Kim was awesome! She was willing to work with me as I planned my wedding. The venue was beautiful. We received so many compliments on how pretty they both were. We had our ceremony at The Hansen Place and the reception was at The Attic. Both gorgeous! I would highly recommend this venue.

    I absolutely loved The Hansen Place! There are beautiful chandeliers, a waterfall, and a fireplace inside the venue. Literally, the only decorating I had to do was the table center pieces. Nothing else was needed. The staff was so great to us. We ended up having more people show up last minute that didn't RSVP and they were able to roll out another table and chairs so everyone had a place to sit. The night wouldn't have gone so smoothly without their help.

    This is the most awesome place for ANY event. This was my 3rd wedding so I wanted something nice but low key. I called my wedding "simply elegance". Because of the water wall, fire place, chandeliers and dressing rooms it was perfect. Kim, the organizer, was absolutely perfect. She was easy to work with, very accommodating and had no problems making last minute changes. We were able to use our own DJ caterer and bring in our own decorations and cake. My daughter just got married and she was limited on everything and paid 1.5 times more than me.

    Can't recommend this facility enough

    The Hansen Place is where I chose to have my wedding and it was beautiful and perfect. Kim was the person I worked with and she is simply put, amazing. The venue is gorgeous and was perfect for the type of wedding I was looking for. We did reception seating at round tables with the aisle leading to the indoor waterwall. The chandeliers are so pretty and the hardwood floor is soooo much better than the ugly carpet you see at a lot of more reasonably priced venues. They only require that you use Act3catering which was fine with us since then the caterers know what they are doing and also because that was one less decision to make. Kim kept me on schedule all day and made sure I was not panicked. Kim answered my emails quickly with answers I always liked :) She even was flexible and awesome after the wedding. We left 4 bottles of champagne in the fridge and she coordinated with us so we could come pick them up, which wasn't easy for her since my husband and I work late. Everything about my wedding day was pretty much perfect, thanks to the Hansen Place and Kim!

    We were in kind of a bind when our other reception venue fell through. In just two months they were able to work with us and be a key part of the special day.

    I had my reception at the Attic. It was absolutely beautiful. I was able to meet with the owners of the Attic to walk through and take pictures prior to the wedding. It needs very little decorating and the decorating we did do, we were able to come in when they were doing set up for a small fee. They are very helpful, and great at returning calls and scheduling meeting times. The only concern I had was that is was not handicap accessible, so we had to have our wedding party lifting our older folks! Overall, the service was amazing, and our reception was a huge hit! Many of our guests wanted to book their family reunions, wedding anniversaries, and birthday parties there as well.

    I absolutely loved having my wedding reception at the Attic. This place definately allows for a cozy atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. The staff was awesome and positively influenced our reception. If I could do it all over again. I would have had my wedding at the the Hansen Place held the reception at the Attic which is just a short walk away.

    Working with Kim and the Hanson was great. She was very easy going and was always available to help or answer any questions I had. She was very helpful in the planning process. The only issue that I had is there is no where to do pictures inside or outside. We ended up using a second location for all our pictures

    This is a beautiful venue and Kim and the owners (Marshall and Barbara) are easy and great to work with!! They have two facilities - The Attic and The Hansen. We had our ceremony and reception at the Attic. Both are separate facilities and have their own unique style. We had 144 guest (max for the facility is 150) and 14 tables. I can say there was enough room for all 14 tables, the dance floor, our DJ, caterer, gift table, sign in, bar, and our strings duet. ((That was probably the 1 stress moment I had and it fit perfectly and left plenty of room for people to get around. Just in case any bride is worried or wondering!))

    I believe this venue suited OUR needs/wants best. My husband and I both work full-time and didn't have a lot of time to plan all the extra details. Our statement to all our vendors was that we wanted a "FIVE-minute ceremony and a FUN-filled party afterwards". This venue is perfect because there is very little set-up/decorations needed. With the wedding package - the price includes all table cloths (knee length) in white, black or ivory and the chair covers (we choose fitted which matches their chairs perfectly) and sashes. We also worked with their sub-vendor, Platinum Designs, and ordered table overlays for $250

    EVERYTHING was set up for our rehearsal - so when we arrived all we had to do was put favors/programs. By the way did I mention there is pretty much little, to no, decoration needed?! We just got flower centerpieces and called it good.

    Marshall was on site for our event and was great! We brought our own alcohol and he made sure all was stocked in the fridge and event put extra on ice the day-of. One of my favorite moments of him was when our ceremony was about to start and the music from downstairs was being played loudly... Marshall was running out the door to get them to turn it down. :)

    This site may not be for you if....

    1) You have to use their caterer (Act 3). I have very positive things to say about them - they even set up the buffet and drink table beautifully. The food is wonderful. I can totally see why you have to use them. However, Act 3 is pricey.

    2) There is no ADA access. The front entrance has lots of stairs and the back entrances has a flight of stairs. If you have a lot of older people coming this may not work for you.

    3) We wanted a Friday rehearsal. We were guaranteed a Monday-Thursday date the week of our wedding. However, they could not confirm a Friday rehearsal until 1-month before the event in case they received other reservations. We had a lot of out of town guests (including my bridesmaid) and it would have been a hassle to not have a Friday. We did get the Friday reserved, which was a life-saver as we were able to do all our set-up and bring the alcohol in prior to our wedding day. **That would be my one comment that perhaps they should change. Especially for the off-season wedding.**

    HOWEVER, ALSO NOTE THERE IS A BAR RIGHT DOWNSTAIRS!!! HAHA - OUR BRIDESMAIDS/GROOMSMEN AND SOME OF OUR CO-WORKERS LOVED THAT. ;)

    LOVED this place! It was beautiful, vaulted ceilings, held 150 people, wood from floors on up. Autumn was a breeze to work with. She ran the whole show with the DJ, to ensure the evening went smoothly without any interruptions on my end. My only complaint would be that when you book the place for 8 hrs, this time includes the time that the catering company needs to get there, as well as tear up and DOWN. Our ceremony didn't start until 430pm, but because the catering company needed to be there at 2pm - it wasted 2.5 hrs of my rented time.

    Other than that, everything else I have to say about this crew is positive. They worked just as hard as I did to make sure the day went smoothly and this even included attending a 1.5 hr meeting with the DJ re: sound, lighting, the walk down the aisle, best places to sit during the ceremony etc. Another added bonus was that you could bring your own booze in. Saved tons of $$$

    This is an elegant venue for a reception for 120-150 people. It will get a little cozy when leaving room for a dance floor, but I don't think your guests will mind, mine didn't. My only caution, be well organized if you are doing the set up the venue yourself as there may be limited availability when the venue is busy. We were able to use our "rehearsal" time allotment to organize the tables and fully set them and it turned out beautifully. I highly recommend The Attic and their partner, Platinum Designs, Inc.

    Note: Our venue was actually at the Hansen Place, the sister venue for the Attic. It is literally 2 blocks down the road. Wedding Wire did not have The Hansen Place available to review. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! The venue is indoors and has amazing lighting and decorations such as smaller chandeliers and wainscoting. The venue colors are primarily ivory, beige and gold. The way that the venue is set up made it affordable for us since we didn't have to go all out on decorating the venue. The venue has a perfect spot for the DJ, bartender, and catering buffet. Towards the front of the venue there is a small lounging area next to a fireplace that seats a handful of people. At the very front of the venue there is a lovely fountain that makes for a perfect spot to get married! I would totally recommend this place for a wedding or a fancy party.

    I booked the Hansen Place for my ceremony location. They were very flexible when my schedule changed around a bit (I changed my rental hours after booking). Nancy was there the day of my wedding to make sure everything went smoothly and it did. Their fees are not the cheapest BUT the location is BEAUTIFUL and doesn't need any additional decorating. They do set up and clean up too so it's worth it. A warning: if you plan of having food, you must use their caterer, Act 3 Catering, which is on the pricey side. Overall, I loved this place and was glad I had my ceremony there...it looked GREAT in photos.

    We had our reception at the Attic. It was beautifully decorated and had a warm, cozy feel. It needed minimal decorations, though linens and table decor are not included. One gripe was that our tables were arranged such that a few tables were blocked from viewing our head table and our slideshow. We thought that since we had informed them of our plans, they would have arranged the few tables so at least everyone could see. Other than that it was enjoyable. You have to book through their exclusive caterer, Act3, which is expensive so that factors into the value for the cost.

    While we loved the location the rest of our experience was quite frustrating. The venue was not ready in time for setup putting us behind by half an hour even tho we paid for that time. On the day of there were only two parking spaces left available in front for our family. There was apparently no purpose of filling out the 30 day checklist because I kept getting asked questions already answered on it. I was getting pestered with questions while trying to do pictures with my husband after our ceremony. I was yet again getting asked more questions throughout my reception. My family got questioned about packing up our plates and flatware that we had brought. It was more like having a chaperone than a day of coordinator and made it hard to relax and enjoy the night.
