The Hideaway at Xanadu was an absolute dream of a wedding venue! The owners were so easy to work with and the staff was incredibly helpful on our actual wedding day! The colors of the trees just started changing which ended up matching our color scheme and I cannot rave enough about how wonderful it was to have cozy and luxe sleeping arrangements for our bridal party and friends/family that had to travel across the globe to be there. If we could do it again, we wouldn't change a thing!The Hideaway at Xanadu Island's reply:

We had our wedding at Xanadu on September 17 and spent the whole weekend there. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! Nicole is the best to work with and was super flexible with adjusting and accommodating times so we could get everything set up! It was so nice to have Amy as our day-of coordinator and she really made those extra details count! As for the venue itself, the most beautiful place on the lake to get married at! We got some amazing sunset pics and got soooo many compliments about how beautiful our venue was! The cabins were also great and had everything we needed (except towels) and were gorgeous themselves. Everyone including us loved the venue and everything about it! -

Cozy Cabin
We found Xanadu on a complete chance. I was looking for a small intimate wedding. Then I just happen to stumble upon this place and it was literally perfect. The island is beautiful, the lake is amazing, there is just a feel here that I can’t explain. The cabins and house brought back memories from growing up with a lake cabin, which extends why this place made our weekend so special.
Working with Nicole was incredibly easy to communicate with. She was quick with responses and concerns we had, and helpful in so many ways. We kinda just dove in and enjoyed our experience!
I more than likely will go back and enjoy another weekend here with my husband -

The Hideaway at Xanadu Island was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend getaway in Battle Lake. We loved the history and charm of the cabins, and the scenery of the island was the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding. The breathtaking photo locations are endless!! We have been told over and over that our wedding was the most unique and fun wedding our guests have attended. Our favorite part was renting the whole island for the weekend to spend extra time with our family and closest friends. From planning to last minute questions, Nicole was so helpful and responsive. We couldn’t be happier to have been married at Xanadu.The Hideaway at Xanadu Island's reply:

The Most Unique Spot
Every one of our guests arrived at Xanadu and said, "oh my god...how did you find this place?" It just feels special being there. Nicole worked with us with warmth and openness especially during Covid, as our plans were changing constantly, and ensured that we would have the best weekend possible. I can't imagine having had our wedding at any other venue. I'd recommend it for any couple looking for something unique, intimate, and incredibly personal for your wedding. -
