We fell in love just driving up the circle drive, looked at each other, and said "Yep, this is the one." Longview Mansion was just GORGEOUS and we got so lucky with the perfect fall day with all the fall colors! Almost every guest made a comment to us about how beautiful and nice the venue was, it definitely has that wow factor which can be hard to find! They are all-inclusive with their catering and decor setup which took a load off my mind. I showed up with my decor in bins and they took it from there and also had things donated from previous weddings that I was able to use as well! I was able to get in with my girls at 10 AM to start getting hair and makeup done in their beautiful 3 room spanning bridal suite. On the other end of the hallway, the groom also has a multi-room suite. I'm sharing all the beautiful photos our photographer Emma Highfill captured that day of the venue and all its glory. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue in which to get married.

My daughter had her wedding reception at The Historic Longview Mansion in October and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! Not only were the grounds spectacular for outdoor photos, but the mansion provided a warm and charming welcome on a crisp autumn evening. The Mansion has so much history and beauty that we didn't have to add anything to make it look so good. The Pavilion tent was transformed into an elegant dining experience with a club-like dancing atmosphere. Their state-of-the-art sound system was newly installed in partnership with Fernando Productions, KC’s famous #1 DJ service. Kim and Lisa made our lives so much easier. They are genuine professionals who are accommodating, kind and full of great ideas. We researched a lot of venues before seeing the Mansion. My daughter initially thought she wanted a trendy loft downtown near the church. But when she saw this estate (and you get the entire estate with your rental), she fell in love with its romantic, timeless beauty. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. You get so much value for your money here and the team goes out of their way to be helpful. Our guests really enjoyed the venue, too, and we received so many compliments. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience and highly recommend you visit.

I knew I wanted to book the Longview Mansion after just one visit. It’s historical and unique romantic looks had me mesmerized! And the tent- you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to get down and boogie!
What I didn’t realize when I booked was the outstanding staff and service that came along with it. This place knows how to run a wedding. Kim & Lisa were on top of helping me plan out my timeline, helping us come up with the layout, and setting up everything the day of! Not only that but we were constantly pampered during the day and into the evening with staff checking in to make sure everything was perfect! IT WAS!
Also, all of my guests commented on how amazing the venue was. So as a bride I loved that of course! Could go on and on about the Longview Mansion, but to sum it up- spectacular!!

Kristen was absolutely phenomenal and made our day perfect. We had a ceremony only wedding and it was gorgeous. My guests were blown away and our wedding day was a fairytale. The venue is stunning, the staff is wonderful, and our day went seamless.

Jenny with Longview Mansion could not be any more personable, ORGANIZED, or experienced in what she does. I cannot even begin to describe how gorgeous she made the mansion look the day of our wedding. The grounds and interior were immaculate, as was her smile and coordinating style throughout the wedding day. She was also so easy to work with throughout the year-long process of planning, and provided so much guidance with vendors, timeline, ceremony details, reception options, and décor. I cannot recommend this venue or staff enough!

Perfect in every way! Jenny and the staff went above and beyond to make my daughters wedding day one to remember. We had a major hiccup with a vendor (not the mansion) but Jenny (the wedding coordinator) jumped in to help with seamless timing, a big smile and "we will fix it" attitude. I couldn't have been happier with the venue, the history, the grounds, the staff and courtesy everyone showed. The brides room was heavenly. It was large enough for 8 bridesmaid, a bride, mothers and grandmothers along with 4 flower girls and 2 photographers. Every time I had a question, Jenny was not far away to answer. She and her assistant were always around with a smile and an answer. I would highly recommend the Longview Mansion for a memorable wedding.

My fiance (now husband) and I felt like we had combed through every wedding venue in a 100 mile radius before we stumbled upon Longview Mansion - and we are so glad that we did! The grounds were beautiful, spacious, and very well kept; a perfect setting for a rustic, outdoor wedding like ours! Even though we got married on a blazing hot, humid July day, the inside of the mansion was kept cool and beautiful - getting ready upstairs was a dream for both the girls (the bridal suite is, in a word, AMAZING) and guys. Jenny, the coordinator and planner for the venue, is incredible to work with: she definitely knows what's she's doing and made sure that we thought through even the tiniest of details to make sure every bit of the day was perfect. We never had an e-mail or question that went unanswered and she was so sweet, happy, and flexible through the whole process! The food was delicious and we even received compliments on the professionalism of the staff that served and worked our day - something that put our experience above and beyond any expectations. We couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at Longview!

I loved working with Jenny at Longview Mansion!!! She was so organized through the whole process. I was so great!! I probably emailed her a tons of times on random questions that I had throughout the year and she would respond back within the day-next day. She was sharp, organized, persistent and had a lovely personality!!! I would definitely recommend her if you choose to have your wedding here. The mansion was just the perfect backdrop to our wedding. I love the charm and aesthetic of the mansion!!! The food was wonderful and the service was great. Thank you for giving us a memorable day!

We are so happy with how our wedding turned out, choosing the Longview mansion was one of the best decisions we could have made. The property itself is stunning, which is so helpful because truly it doesn't need to be decorated to the max, so that alone was fantastic. The food was excellent, Jenny (the coordinator for Longview) was absolutely amazing and SO helpful throughout the process. It really is just the perfect wedding venue. My guests could not get over how flawless the wedding was, everything from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, drinks, food, etc. it really was the wedding of my dreams, and we are so happy we had our wedding there. We highly recommend it!!! You will not be disappointed!

I would recommend Longview Mansion to any bride. The setting is beautiful, obviously, and the price is surprisingly realistic. I cannot say enough about the owner and staff. They attended to needs I didn't even know I had until they asked! Everything went off so perfectly at my wedding that I had no choice but to relax and have fun all night:)

Longview Mansion was the perfect place for us to hold and out of state wedding ceremony and reception. It was easy to locate and the outside fountain was amazing! I loved the feel of he home as soon as we walked in. Mary Beth was an amazing consultant and handled all the details for us. She even brought us shots to calm us down while we waited for the ceremony to start. The on-site chefs were great and I loved their bartending service. Everyone was extremely professional and made the day run so smoothly. There were no malfunctions at the mansion. And the Weather was wonderful. I would recomend this place to anyone that is needing a place to hold a ceremony and reception with a beautiful atmosphere

My husband and I were set on a destination wedding but my Mom encouraged us to look locally and specifically suggested Longview Mansion. It was the only venue we looked at and we immediately knew it was for us. When we saw it we loved the romantic, historical feel. The grounds at that time were covered in snow and so beautiful, but when we saw it in the Spring we were even more sold. Everything was so green! Jenny worked with us as our wedding planner and could not have been more fantastic! We knew nothing about planning a wedding day and she made it seem effortless. Every time we met with her she was so enthusiastic..it felt as if she was more excited for our wedding than us! She gave us suggestions for every one of our vendors and with the exception of our photographer we used every single one. They require in house catering which was not a problem because everything was delicious! We went with prime rib and seafood stuffed white fish and received compliments all night long about how great everything tasted. They have a huge bridal suite that easily fit me, 5 bridesmaids, 3 people for makeup/hair, and my mother/mother in low without feeling crowded. We were married outside by the fountain in front of the mansion, and then were inside the mansion for cocktail hour and moved into a large tent they have set up behind the mansion for the reception. The tent is temperature controlled with air condition, had chandeliers, and was stunning, but yet since it was tent felt really down-to-earth and was just fun! Jenny was there the whole day and she took care of all the details so that we could focus on getting married and having a blast! It was really much less stressful than I had imagined. The only down side is if you are on a tight budget. For a Saturday it is a minimum of $12,000 but then you have to factor in the tax and gratuity as well. However, it was well worth it and if I had to do it all over again I would choose Longview again!

Longview Mansion is a beautiful venue for a wedding and reception. We had the ceremony around the fountain out front, cocktail hour was in the mansion and the reception was in the heated/air conditioned tent attached to the rear of the mansion. We were originally working with Tucker but a few months before the wedding, he left to pursue another job so Mary Beth took over as our coordinator. She was great at answering all of my questions and made me feel confident that everything would go well. She was at the mansion for the entire day of the wedding making sure everything went smoothly. She checked on us throughout the day and kept us on schedule. At our tasting, we did not like either of the chicken dishes we tried so we changed it for the wedding and it seemed to be better - I didn't try it on the wedding day. Everyone said the food was good. It is a bit expensive so make sure you have a good idea of your numbers so you can calculate the overall cost including the service fee and taxes before you sign the contract. If it fits in your budget, it's a beautiful venue that provides great service. I could not be happier with how everything turned out.

They have been great to work with so far. Everyone is very easy to talk to and has given all of the information up front. I can't wait to see what they do for my wedding!

Longview Mansion was a very beautiful venue. I had my Reception there. MaryBeth, my coordinator at the Mansion was very helpful and available when I needed her! Everything turned out great! The food was also great as well. I must say it was rather expensive. Make sure that if you are interested in this venue that you add up everything, including taxes and fees before signing the contract. If you are looking for a nice venue, and can afford it, I would definetely suggest Longview Mansion.

Longview Mansion was the perfect romantic setting for our wedding! We loved that we could have both the ceremony and reception there and our coordinator was so helpful!

The Longview Mansion is a beautiful location for a wedding and reception. We had an outdoor wedding the last weekend in May and it was beautiful..people are still telling me a year later it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The reception in the pavillion I would recommend to EVERYONE..it was so impressive! The bartenders, caterers, waitstaff were all so wonderful. The food was GREAT..however we were pretty scared about this part because our "planner" at the mansion was not easy to work with when it came to our food choices. We had gone to a tasting the fall before our wedding and were not impressed at all. We requested another tasting of different food because the cost was outrageous and there was no way I was going to pay that much money for food we didn't like. Our "planner" told us we must not have very good taste in food because they never have complaints (which is completely wrong and unprofessional)...so it left me no choice but to tell her NO we have a great taste in food..people obviously have not been very honest with you. BUT it did all work out and they DID give us a tasting of different foods and the food ended up being A GREAT SUCCESS! We had a childrens buffet for all the kids and a dinner buffet with the prime rib carving table. We had some issues and did not like our planner...but everything went together so perfectly that day...it was a story book wedding and we couldnt be happier about it!

The Longview Mansion is a beautiful place for a wedding. All the staff was so nice and made sure we have exaclty what we needed for our big day. It was very stress free. The outside and inside of the Mansion are both gorgeous and people are still talking about how our wedding was one of the nicest they have ever been to almost 2 years later! My husband and I were too busy to eat, but we heard that the food was delicious as well!

Longview Mansion is a beautiful place for a wedding, and if the weather cooperates, it really is a story book wedding. Our wedding was gorgeous. The garden out front was a beautiful and tranquil place for the ceremony, and inside was just the right romantic atmosphere for our reception. The staff at Longview were prepared and helped to coordinate a seamless operation the day of our wedding. It was truly impressive, and took a lot of worry and stress off my shoulders. When we were planning the wedding, our coordinator was always available, very helpful, and followed up quickly. If I needed help and my coordinator was not there that day, the other staff was great stepping in or even called our coordinator at home. The only thing that disappointed us was that they were not clear about changes to our contract. When we first signed the contract, it was for a late wedding. Our contract said we had the mansion available to us at a particular time. Later, we decided to move the wedding up a couple of hours, but we did not have the foresight to revise the contract to let us into the mansion earlier as well for setup - we only verbally agreed to it. The week before our wedding we called them to work out final details, and found out that they would no longer honor our earlier time to come in and setup, as another party had requested an event on our wedding day just before our event. Because a second party wanted to rent the place just hours before my wedding, suddenly Longview would not honor their verbal agreement to let us setup at the earlier time, and when we protested they pointed to our contract, which we had failed to modify. Technically, our fault for not changing the contract, and that would be my advice to anyone who uses Longview Mansion: get everything, every detail, in writing and signed with this place. Otherwise, anything you agree to verbally may be changed at the last minute if it suits them. It is still a gorgeous place to have your wedding - the best we saw by far. And even despite our last minute dispute they were very professional on our wedding day and we were impressed by how well executed our event was. I would still recommend them with only that one piece of advice.
