Loved this venue! Very cute and rustic yet also classy. Victoria was very responsive. Be aware that you should budget for a day of coordinator - it is more of a diy kind of venue but still great! They have a new firepit on the property too which is cool.

We picked the perfect place! Husband and I rented the whole lot including the house for our bridal party and it was super affordable and the perfect space for the amount of people we wanted in our wedding.

Holliston Historical Society could not have been a better venue. It was easy, beautiful, and affordable. We had the whole day on Friday to set up the barn and tent for our Saturday wedding. Stewart was a joy to work with, and even helped out cleaning up after the wedding. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We just loved this sweet barn and historical home as well as it's garden for our Labor Day wedding. We had a great experience dealing with Stewart and bill throughout our planning. They were also happy to communicate with our caterer/event planner. It's a great spot for a small to medium sized wedding especially if you'd like to have a ceremony, picturesque spot and reception all in one space!

Stewart and Bill were great to work with and very responsive. We loved the venue and it's garden for our summer wedding and wouldn't change a thing. :)

Such a beautiful venue and an affordable price! Stewart was very helpful from the very beginning and he let us come see it on multiple occasions to measure things and take pictures. We were also lucky enough to be able to set up the night before since there wasn't another event. We are so incredibly happy with our beautiful pictures of our ceremony in the HHS garden and the barn needs very little additional decorating since the white Christmas lights are included. Perfect venue for a rustic wedding!

This is a great affordable venue for people who don't want to give an arm and leg for their wedding. My husband and I found this venue, and although it is on the simpler side, it was a gorgeous venue that matched our personalities. My favorite thing was that we could choose our own vendors instead of only one or only from a list. Stewart and Bill, the venue's caretakers, were pretty accommodating to us. As long as you keep the venue clean when you leave, there are no issues!

This is a great venue for brides and grooms on a budget. They book very fast. If you are looking for a specific date, I would say that you will want to contact them early. There are a lot of rules for the Historical Society, because it is exactly that, a historical non-profit. We had a great experience with Stewart and Bill. They were quick to respond to all of my questions and were helpful throughout the entire process. I would recommend the space.

The Historical Society was a great find. Try to find another venue that will give you the whole day for what the Historical Society charges. Impossible!
They are generally laid-back (although for some reason, on the day of the wedding, not so much), and they even let us store desserts in the house fridge the day before the wedding so we didn't have to transport them back and forth. Great place for a rustic wedding.

When you rent the Historical Society you have the option to get the house and barn, or just the barn. I rented the barn. The barn doesn't need much decoration because it is very rustic and went perfect with my fall themed wedding. The price is just right. However, I wished that the price did include the clean up. I did however hirer a caterer that cleaned up for me so it all worked out in the end. All my guest were so impressed with the atmosphere and all I had was the white christmas lights (that comes with barn). Beautiful venue if you are looking for simple and rustic.
