  Everything!

  Brandy did such an amazing job with our cake. At the tasting, I would’ve chosen every flavor if I could. We went with two layers of strawberry lemonade and one layer of lemon with raspberry filling. I barely ate any food at our wedding, but I had plenty of cake! We kept it minimalistic with a simple design, with no topper but it stood alone very well. Our guests and our venue’s staff were all able to get a piece and we all loved it! Highly recommend.

  Very Taste full - pun intended

  We used the Icing and The Cake for our daughter's wedding, we had a two-tier cake and several different flavors of cupcakes made. They were all wonderful, so much so that we hardly had any left and what we did was gone within 2 days!!

  The best cake!

  Hired this business for my wedding cake and cupcakes in July and it turned out great. My theme was Alice in Wonderland and Brandy delivered something that was more than I could have ever imagined. They looked and tasted amazing.

  First of all Brandy makes some of the best cakes I've ever had! She made us the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding. Not only is she so easy to work with, but she is so sweet too! After our tasting, we knew right away we were making the best decision. There is no reason to look elsewhere, get your cake from Brandy! You will not be disappointed.

  The icing and the cake did a wonderful job making our dream cake come to life! The flavor was magical and we can't wait to get our free anniversary cake! They're amazing to work with and did excellent!

  Best wedding cake experience!

  Brandy was excellent to work with for our wedding cake! She really took the time to sit down with us to make sure the cake would be exactly what we wanted! The flavors were delicious and turned out perfectly! All of our guests were very impressed! She also did an amazing job with the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner! I would highly recommend her for any wedding or special event!

  Brandy did an incredible job with our wedding cake (and gluten free cupcakes for my sister)! We chose the raspberry champagne and triple chocolate as our flavors and everyone raved about how delicious the cake was. The presentation was also gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. We asked for a simple design with flowers and it turned out beautifully. Not only did she do a great job executing what we asked for, she also went above and beyond and made our cake a day earlier than we had originally planned when we decided to move the wedding date last minute (about 2 days before the new wedding date) to the day before due to a tropical storm. We had a great experience with Brandy at The Icing & The Cake and we highly recommend working with her!

  Awesome birthday cake

  I ordered a birthday cake for my friend. The only ideas I gave Brandy were that my friend loves chocolate, cats and her favorite color is purple. Brandy nailed it with an awesome looking and delicious cake that my friend loved!

  Brandy is amazing and super sweet! She listened to what we wanted and blew us away when we saw how it was set up. We had a blast at the cake tasting and loved that we were the only ones there. We did a dessert bar with cupcakes, cookies, lemon bars, brownie bites, and a small cake for us to cut. Everything was absolutely amazing with the way they set everything up and how delicious the desserts were the night of our wedding; so yummy! I highly recommend The Icing & The Cake!! We couldn’t imagine it any other way. Can’t wait until we can make it back up to North Carolina to get more!

  Brandy undoubtedly knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake! Our wedding guests gave us so many compliments on how delicious our cake was. From the day we met Brandy at the tasting we immediately felt at ease hiring her. She was punctual for our first meeting and for the wedding to drop off the cake. At our tasting she provided 4 or 5 of the most popular cake flavors and we were blown away. They were amazing and I honestly dont even really eat cake as dessert. She listened to our wants and went over exactly how we wanted the cake to look as far as style, tier, color etc. We took her recommendation on the size based on our guest count and had a small amount left over which was perfect. Brandy was also very organized and laid our expectations from the start as far as the tasting, payment, and drop off procedure for the cake. The pricing was very reasonable comparatively speaking. I also loved her little bake shop!! It was so adorable. I would highly recommend working with Brandy for your wedding cake services. She will not disappoint!

Brandy very quickly responded to my email requesting a cake for our party. The tasting was professional and fun. Honestly, I would hire her to make birthday cakes for my family because her cakes are so amazing!

  You won't stop eating your cake!

  Our cake was jaw-dropping and that is exactly what I wanted. Everyone talked about how good the cake was and how gorgeous it was. Ever since our first meeting, I could not wait to see it at the wedding. There was some competition because we were the second couple to get married but she made our cake the best so we won! I love it!

  Incredible and yummy cakes!!

  Brandi was incredible for our grooms cake and wedding cake, both were absolutely beautiful!! Highly recommend her for all your cake needs!

  Icing for Brandy!! She’s Amazing!

  If I said Brandy’s awesomeness was every homerum at the homerun derby, that wouldn’t be praise enough! These cakes stole the show! Literally, show stoppers! They were so beautiful, everything we discussed and more! We had some left over and our family has been begging for shares! The cakes were so delicious and moist! We got married at the zoo so I wanted fair-like flavors... we did caramel apple, funnel cake, and blueberry tart!!! And oh my goodness, I can not tell you the greatness of those cakes. I genuinely have no words for how humbled and thankful I am that I found Brandy! It will not be my last time seeing her, this I promise you... I’ll get most of my cakes from her for the rest of my life I think! Most people just want the cake to look good; but what you’ll get is something extraordinary!!!

  The icing and the cake did a fabulous job on my wedding cake. I worked with Brandy and she was a joy to work with, she really listens to your ideas during tasting. She provided me with such an easy experience. Her cakes taste and look amazing. I had a 2 tier wedding cake, grooms cake, cupcakes and cookies made for my wedding day and everything came out amazing. Her prices are fair and easy to work with.
