  Fantastic DJ!!

  Jay is awesome! He really worked with us to make sure we heard all the songs we wanted, and kept the party going all night! We rocked the night away to a great mix of music, and he brought a great energy. Highly recommend!

  No Butts in the Seats

  Jay DJ’d our wedding and ceremony on June 5, 2021 at the Island Inn on Sanibel. Let’s start with how easy he is to work with. He requests forms in advance that cover every important part of the wedding music. He is organized, pleasant, informative and makes sensible music suggestions to cover every aspect of the nuptials and reception. Our ceremony music was unconventional with special requests for start and stop times during songs. He provided every request flawlessly. Now…the reception…there was not a single Butt in the chairs all night long. He responded to our guests likes and played music that kept the party alive and dancing all night long. Many of our guests commented about how it was the best wedding ever; a lot of that was because Jay really made it a party. He is intuitive and hands on. He instructed us in line dances and talked us through the ones we didn’t know. Jay is just the absolute best. You and your guests will not be disappointed. He truly has it all!!!

  Cool down to earth DJ

  We really liked DJ Floyd. He did a really good job and was a lot of fun! He danced with guests and got the party started. All the ceremony music was right on time!

  Beyond our highest expectations. Professional, kind, gentleman.

  I can't say enough about Jay, The Islands DJ. He met with me twice to go over what we wanted, asked intelligent, respectful questions and gave me 2 wedding planner outlines to complete so things ran smoothly...and they did!
  
  And the music? Jay has a unique gift for reading his audience. We gave Jay a list of a 2-3 songs we wanted, 2-3 we definitely didn't want, and we let Jay do the rest. He did a FABULOUS job, playing something for everyone. And the volume was NEVER to high either.
  
  Bottom line: If we have another affair and need a DJ, I will be making only one phone call...to Jay. I recommend him without hesitation and suggest anyone needing a DJ, at least meet with Jay once. You'll be glad you did!

  As the bride, I had enough things to do and the islands dj made things easier for me

  This dj was awesome !! My officiant was 45 minutes late! And so the islands dj actually approached me and told me if need be hes a certified officiant! Ended up not needing it but it really calmed my nerves and made me feel like the day would be saved if need be. He took requests and even danced with us and made the party get started. I loved it! He also even let the music run at the end of the night while he was packing up and a few of my guests were still lingering so i didnt have to pay for another hour! Such a nice person and excellent dj

  We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!!!

  DJ Floyd did an amazing job at our wedding. His prices were very reasonable and he provided amazing speakers and lights! He had so many songs and if he didn’t have one we wanted, he downloaded it for us. It ended up storming on our wedding day and DJ Floyd was very flexible. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. I would highly recommend him!

  DJ Jay is excellent! He not only helped me with special requests but he was happy to do it. Everything from his set up at the Sanibel Harbor Marriott Resort where he had to move equipment and set up in 3 different areas throughout the event, to his light display was top notch and professional. He played all the music we wanted to hear and requested and even was quick to respond when our wedding singer could not proceed. Jay saved the awkward moment like only a pro could do!! Jay will be the first DJ I ever call for DJ services. Thanks for everything Jay! You are the man!

  Jay is an awesome DJ. He is a hard working person that takes his job very seriously. Every change that I had, and I had many, he made it happen. His prices are awesome. He went beyond what I expected with his lighting; the lighting he used for the event was awesome and made my home look really good. I recommend Jay for any event. I will definitely be using him again.

  Jay was an amazing DJ. We were so happy with everything and all our guest commented on how great the music was that he played. Everyone was on the dance floor from pretty much the beginning of the reception. I highly recommend Jay!!!

  I would definitely recommend Jay/ The islands dj! He was prompt, courteous, and so much fun! He was very involved making sure the night was just perfect! He helped keep the part moving along...a dj can really make or break an event and he definitely helped make our wedding a great success!!! We received many compliments on how fun our reception was!

  My husband and I had Jay Floyd DJ our wedding and it was the best decision we made! Jay is professional and fun, and he offered suggestions on how to make our wedding the best. He even went above and beyond to create a special song mix for the mother and son dance, and it was perfect. Jay utilized really cool lighting on the dance floor and he was a great MC for the night to run smoothly. If you are looking for a reliable, fun, and easy to work with DJ, then Jay is it! We couldn't be happier or more thankful for his services that we will remember for a lifetime!

  A Wedding Lifesaver!

  YES to The Islands DJ! We hired Jay two weeks before my sister's 18 person wedding. Low key beachy wedding but last minute decided on a DJ. Jay worked with us on such a short timeline, provided he was available, thankfully. Was SO prepared and asked all of the right questions - things we didn't even think to ask. Every song was a great decision. His set up was flawless. A true MC. I would highly recommend Jay Floyd as not only a wedding DJ but for any event! Thank you Jay!!
