My husband and I never had any doubt we would be married at The Ivy Hotel, and on June 15, 2022, we did it! We had an intimate wedding with 15 guests in their stunning courtyard.
From the day I emailed Terry to the day after our wedding, we were thrilled with the experience. Terry was professional, attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, kind, and honest. Terry and Maureen had excellent communication working together, which made the entire process pain-free. The same is true with the rest of the Ivy Hotel staff; everyone was exceptional. The level of hospitality we experienced at this stunning boutique hotel was unmatched. From the valet who greets you by name to the welcome champagne to the elegant tea time in the afternoon, it was an outstanding luxurious experience.
The Concierge/Guest Services team was professional, detailed, and well-organized. It always felt like they were at least 10 steps ahead of me, especially James (he was an absolute delight). Housekeeping was quick and precise! Theresa deserves an award for her excellence. She made it her job to ensure my husband and I enjoyed every moment at the hotel. Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t shoutout the drivers who ensured the bride was calm and brought us to various locations on time and in style! My husband and I can not go without saying that Magdelena was phenomenal. Every single meal was fantastic, and the staff was hospitable.
We can not thank The Ivy enough for making our celebration the best we could have imagined. We will be back every six months!
If you are thinking about having an intimate wedding at The Ivy, don’t hesitate to book your date!

Our wedding of 60 could not have been more perfect. The Ivy Hotel was a dream location. Our ceremony was in the beautiful courtyard and then we made an easy transition to our reception which was inside the Magdalena restaurant. The Ivy staff was incredible and very attentive throughout the entire process especially the day of. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you. The food was more than we could’ve asked for. Our guests could not stop talking about how the food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The Ivy Hotel is a venue unlike any other in Baltimore. It truly was the best. -

The coordinator Anna had everything down to a “T” This was a very small intimate wedding/dinner . The hotel provide the Wine Cellar for my guest and I which was very beautiful the room is surrounded with different wines , very cozy and personal setting . The food was delicious out waiter was awesome as I said before it was perfect . -

We stayed at the Ivy for four nights at the beginning of January, 2021 for an intimate elopement. We organized the elopement with Anna (Sales Manager) in advance via email and she did professional, personalized and well organized work for us. Her recommendations were perfect, especially in regards to the photographer. We went with Jillian McQuerrey who was incredible (don’t think too much, don’t look too far, if you are looking for any photo shoot in Baltimore, pick her, just do it)!
Anna and Jillian had flawless communication working together and put a no stress/full happiness ambiance for us.
That goes for the whole team at the Ivy as well. Unfortunately, when you get married and have drinks, well you forget names, so pardon us everyone for not mentioning you by name.
The Concierge/Guest Services team were professional with a great attention to detail, discreet, kind and well organized. The other departments are amazing too with their own personality and top standards. Big thumbs up to Housekeeping, the Spa and to the Valets - you are all superb!
In regards to the restaurant, with the current restrictions put in place, they have managed to adapt themselves without impacting the quality. It was delicious and we are judging that by having four different breakfasts, two evening room services and one private dining. Thanks to the chef and his team, the restaurant team and sommelier.
Lets have a reminder of our current pandemic situation, this is hard and complicated for all businesses. The Ivy has managed to procure a safe environment, while continuing and retaining their high standards.
We will never thank you enough for making our celebration the best we could have imagined.
Last word: Anthony was our Officiant at the Ivy and is a part of the F&B team. Thank you for your help and assistance from our first phone call, your help with the marriage license and your ceremony which was fantastic. It made us so emotional and your words were well spoken and perfect.
You are fantastic and full of kindness!
We’ve only been home a week and are already counting down the days until we return to the Ivy for our Anniversary..! -
