    The entire staff was very attentive. It was a pleasure hosting a corporate lunch meeting. I look forward to our next one.

    Very friendly staff under construction looks like the are redoing the whole building all rooms are brand new very nice place will stay again

    When we were choosing a venue, this was the first place we looked at. I wanted a smaller wedding that would fit our budget with good food and my cousin recommended this place to me. The first thing I absolutely loved when I came in was the modern design of the whole place and I had the idea what the colors were and the Arbor room was actually my inspiration for the wedding.

    They provide the wedding packages online so I did some research before we scheduled our appointment. They had a package for everything! We didn't want a traditional wedding and luckily they had a cocktail reception package that was reasonably priced and we didn't have to worry about doing it on a weekday or an off season.

    The Catering Manager at the time was a woman named Cindy and from the moment we booked the place to our wedding day (~1.5 years) , the person changed at least 3 times. Despite that minor issue, the manager was very prompt with answering my emails and phone calls. Diane was the woman that actually handled my wedding at the end of it and she was great. She was very responsive and she helped every step of the way. We were able to have a rehearsal dinner the night before and ample time to work on decorating the room.

    Day of the wedding went smooth! Patrick, the event manager I believe made sure everything went well and directed the bridal party. He also provided my drinks and food during the cocktail hour. He was superb! I also cannot forget Sharon, the bartender. She was awesome too.

    The Kenilworth helped make my wedding a great one and I would definitely use them again for other events!

    The hotel is quite unique as it is not the typical chain. The rooms were clean and modern. Each room had a Keurig and they had a bridal gift waiting for us in our suite. The staff worked with our large wedding group even to the point of including some of our latecomers. The site is conveniently located close to Newark and offers a shuttle to the airport and nearby rail stations. We enjoyed getting together at the bar downstairs and the bartender was fun to get a drink from. Sadly the pool was closed but the gazebo served for some great pre-wedding pictures. The breakfast was quite well and all our guests enjoyed their stay.

    We enjoyed working with Ms. De Lisi in preparing for our 50th wedding anniversary.From our first meeting she made us fell welcome and at home. She answered our questions and made very helpful suggestions as to how we could improve the celebration.
    Her communications with our daughter, Yolande, were also very helpful.
    She brought professionalism and expertise helped to plan and event which went off very smoothly and which was enjoyed by everyone.

    We had a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful and accommodating.. Our bridal suite was beautiful. Thanks to Cindy for a wonderful time!

    The worst part of my wedding

    This review is not regarding the hotel room/facilities. This is regarding the catering/room rental division. We were looking for a venue that would allow us to do outside catering for our wedding ceremony. Since we are of Guyanese decent we didn't want to go with a venue that made us 1. take their food or 2. use a specific caterer because they typically had traditional Indian cuisine which we do not all eat. Long story short we met with someone over a year before the event and they agreed to allow us to rent the room with tables ect and just agree to bring in our own food. We left a deposit and signed what we thought was a contract.
    The contact person changed 3 times and no one knew anything about our event each time we met. The lack of communication and professionalism was horrible. As our event approached we meet with venue to go over everything that was promised to us and had to pay more money than we were told in the initial meeting to ensure we received the services that were initially promised. We thought everything was worked out and we were all on the same page and they even offered me a room to use the night before the ceremony. We paid the extra money to ensure 1. we would have 3 servers because from the beginning that is what was promised to us. 2. we paid extra for them to clean the room after the event was over. 3. we would be able to use the facilities chafing dishes to hold the food and keep it warm.
    And still the day of the event no one knew anything that was going on. The manager working the day was very nice but clueless. There were no chafing dishes provided. No one was there to serve the food which we specifically paid extra for. If I would have known this I would have arranged friends or paid someone else to serve the food. By having servers they know to portion food as opposed to having people serve themselves. If I would have known what I was getting into I would have never booked here. I know asking to cater from the outside is not a request everyone accepts but they agreed to it from the start and agreed to the other terms as well. 
    Prior to this we went to 2 other events at this hotel over the years and I can you can assure I WILL NEVER EVER RECCOMEND ANYONE TO HOLD ANY EVENT HERE!. I have lots of co workers and friends who need venues to hold bridal showers ect but after what I saw please go somewhere else.
